5774 out of 6235 I think it's broken

I've just been into the website after about 45mins of queing so the system worked or me - albeit with an initial wait.

Mine lost connection. I'm going to try from a desktop instead.

I was number 16,000 and something last night but I got in within 45 mins and then it was quick and good.

I like the queuing system as it’s better to wait and be able to use it than all get on and it’s unusable!

I do the same and ended up with a nice surprise of 3 bottles of JD that were on offer that I’d put in my basket last week.

@MaggieFS yes it’s hard if you can’t go out. I just went to Tesco and managed to buy loo rolls and some either essential items. It it was busy and there were people coughing around me, so in a way I regret going.
I’m lucky that I’m not in an at risk group, but don’t want to get it as I need to be able to look after my DC! Tesco delivery online is quite good if you try that.

Can I mention that if you do manage to get an Ocado order put on you can also ‘buy’ a food bank donation as part of your order.

Did someone say the Tesco is working well?

I had the reserved slot thingy for Thursday, tomorrow, and it was cancelled but i don't think i checked out for it. (So hard to get online and check!)
But i have a delivery coming on Tuesday anyway. Fingers crossed.

I reactivated my Tesco account but it kicked me out so set up a new one no bother. No slots though. A smattering of click and collect which I can't do fro a while because of self isolation but might be useful for others to know. Click and collect seems a really good halfway house atm.

I think tescos have a much bigger and efficient online operation than the others.

Marks and Spencer is doing OK precisely because they never got round to sorting online so the shelves aren't being stripped bare by pickers.

My god, it's over 18,000 in the queue now!

My order is due Friday evening. I’ve just this minute had a text to say that I can no longer edit my order. They will take back anything I don’t want on the doorstep.

It’s a little annoying, and I’m glad I edited it recently but I see why they have done it.

Did anyone else get the free Neals Yard handcream and / or blueberries treat with their order?

I have a regular reserved slot for Friday. This morning at 8.55 it said I had over 2hr wait, I was 5210 of 7118 in the queue but was actually onto the website by 9.12. Editing went fine, only thing they were out of stock that I wanted was Strong white flour. So happy days

But thank goodness I did it then, I've just had a text saying my Friday order can no longer be edited. I can return stuff at the door if needed. But be aware everyone if you usually edit the day before!

For the person wondering how to see their receipt, I get mine sent by email early on the morning of delivery. Perhaps I chose this in my preferences, worth a look next time you're on the site.

Is it worth trying to call them @ritzbiscuits? Even try tweeting them. It would be a shame for them to make the journey and use the slot if you don’t want the order. They might be able to edit it or at least cancel it.

Just to update - my Ocado delivery turned up on time this morning. The driver was lovely and everything ordered was present, except the items they'd already informed me weren't available. Relief!

I think they're doing a stellar job actually. The virtual queue works. There were lots of things out of stock but plenty to choose from.
