Just got on after 15 minutes and edited my order. I also created my next two reserved orders to secure the slot.

I’ve just got in and created an order. Earliest slot is 1 April. Usually I’m a weekly customer. I’ve also put a slot in for April 8th.

Unbeknown to me my husband - “asleep” in another room - was doing the same thing. He texted me when he realised the trolley was going up faster than he was adding things to it.

Been queuing all day, got near the top of the queue then kicked out twice - stayed up until now to edit. Now can't sleep because my brain is full of pasta and avocados.

Has anyone else found they can't edit the next day's order?
I couldn't edit one that is due tomorrow, but could edit orders that were further away. The later ones still say that they can be edited up to the usual time. Are Ocado in the process of changing that edit time, so they know they have the stock or something?

How do you book a slot in advance? This is what Ocado are recommending and I don't know how to do it?
Given my whole house is in self isolation (and , even if they weren't, two of them can't go to supermarkets because they are children)I really need to online shop!

If you are an Ocado Reserved customer then it automatically books slots for you and creates your order in advance. Normally the order is made a week in advance but you can get it to make your order for your forthcoming slots about 3 weeks in advance.

I haven't had any difficulties editing last minute as of last Friday's order, but I am certain that things probably have changed over the weekend.

You should be able to have multiple orders on the go if you have the Smart Passs. I do and I have 3 orders currently - normally I have 2, but I added the third today due to the long queues. With the smart pass, you can set a regular order time with a basic repeating order.

I do have a smart pass but every time I got error message. Having said that haven’t tried for a while and it was back when I was using the app.

Yesterday morning although it was saying hour wait, actually got in within 15 minutes but couldn't edit. Interestingly I opened on my work server by mistake and that had a longer queue than home server on same PC at the same time. I couldn't edit in the morning tried again at 11 last night , took about 15 minutes but managed to edit both my reserved orders

@MarshaBradyo try Tesco - I have my next 3 booked and their app is running perfectly. I usually flit between the two but I’m regretting booking Ocado this week (I couldn’t get one for Tesco for the next 8 days at the time) and I’ll be sticking with Tesco for the foreseeable future. I know this demand is unprecedented but why are the other supermarkets’ apps still able to manage when theirs can’t? The checkout process is also easier with Tesco because they skip the endless ‘are you sure you don’t need this other stuff? What about these even more random items? Ok, you don’t want those, how about this?’ pages at checkout which doesn’t help when you just want to add one item, that must hold things up in the queue of 24000 or whatever!

I have an order coming this morning (10-11am) that I booked a week ago. I haven’t received the usual email from Ocado yet about my driver, substitutions etc so we will see what happens!

I edited my order yesterday to add a few more bits without any issues, after joining the virtual queue to get into the website. The queue seems to go quicker than their estimates and once I was into the website, it was fine.

Another poster then shared a message from Ocado stating that in this time of high demand, you can help them by not making edits to your order Blush Next time I will try to be more organised.

Just had the email from Ocado! Kitchen towel and antibacterial wipes are missing (thought I’d be lucky to get those) and they’ve made a few substitutions on other food items, but nothing too bad. Kellogg’s cornflakes have been swapped for Waitrose own brand and Waitrose bread has been swapped for Hovis. I’m just hoping they turn up now...

Took me a out 2 minutes to log on and do order this morning, I did do it at 4.40 when DH woke me as he was showering. Was 17 in a queue of 17 when I logged on. It was in the 2 hundreds (the queue) when I went back to add something after checking out 20 mins later.

Next available slot was April 2nd.

Does anyone know if kitchen towel is in short supply in the shops? I would like to get some if I can.
