The Ocado Queue Thread.

Hello. Are you in the Ocado virtual queue? What position are you?
Would you like some company?

Oh I am envious. Ocado don't even deliver here under normal circumstances.

(I did a Tesco online shop today - first available delivery slot 6th April. Reader, I took it)

I have a delivery and no way am I going back in to edit. Locked and loaded.

On Sunday it took me 40 minutes of watching that bloody green van work it's way across the screen before I got on

I'm in, took around 30 minutes, despite it saying over 2 hours when I first tried. Hopefully others won't have to wait long.

I'm 16337 in the queue. As it was just to edit, fuck that shit. I will take my chances with co op

I could even have got a delivery for tomorrow evening.

2 hours now I've been in the queue and no change- still 5815! the green van has move about a third of the way along the line but my number hasn't changed

I got over excited in my middle of the night pee ordering and I think I have bought more stuff than I can fit in my freezer.
Not that I’ve added loads, it’s only about 2 things, but that my freezer is full right now.
I’ve also added courgettes. I already have two packs of courgettes.
I’m self isolating so I can’t really pass them on.

The numbers are bollocks! How on earth can you be 16337 when according to my page there's only 10823 in the queue in the first place- sounds like we're all seeing different things. crock of shit!

I had that this morning @FreakStar. My van was moving just because the number behind me got bigger. Not because I was moving further up.

DH just gone to Tesco- he says shelves have been totally cleared of tins, potatoes, bread, fruit, meat- what a bunch of nobheads- surely people don't think we won't be able to buy food next week! Idiots!

I'm out, hopefully someone else will get in.

It seems my decision to sign up as a new customer (new to area) in January was a good one, especially as I can't get a Sainsbury's delivery.

I was 234 in the queue from 9am til about 6.30pm

Trying again now and I’m 1385 but it’s moving quite quickly

bonfire there must be a glitch, I wasn't that long from that sort of place.

It’s not Ocado’s fault though. The people demanding compensation on Twitter - its a bloody pandemic

People are demanding compensation? How outrageous.

(Unless you’re complete ordered got cancelled, then a think a token gesture should be made. £25.)

Was fine at 0730 gmt this morning, but first delivery was March 30

I went on at 9:10pm this evening and it said 9,000 odd in queue ahead of me and over two hours to wait, but it counted down quickly and I was on within 40 mins

This makes me so glad I did my Ocado order Monday evening, only took 15 mins!

I refreshed and started again- now 2182 of 2897- been on nearly 2 more hours this time- so in total been queueing constantly since 7pm and still not in! Ocado are going to be responsible for me catching Corona at school tomorrow when my immune system is weakened through lack of sleep!

Only a 15 minute wait at the moment
