Hi all, I am new to this thread and hope I can post. I have reserved slot with Ocado and received the email saying this option is cancelled. I am unable to book any slots :(, I have the anytime pqss and been with ocado for years.

So redferrari you should get the email giving priority. I’ve not had it yet either. So we might be in a later group.

Yes you can, @tootyfruitypickle. I’ve set up my parents address so I can do an order for them if I get a go at a slot.

Ocado would have been shooting themselves in the collective foot of their valuable customers otherwise. Thousands of others will go back to never using Ocado in a few weeks.

Ok that’s brilliant I’ve told my dad, although I’m not sure he spends enough (he’s that generation), but it gives me a valid reason to go for a nice long drive if I carry on delivering. Hope I do get the email now!!

I'm really upset with Ocado. I've been a regular customer for nine years and I've never bought a smart pass because I've never needed one - regular slots and quick (often free) delivery have always been readily available until now so I never saw the point.

I'm heavily pregnant and will now have to ask DH to brave the supermarket when we run out of food. I'm terrified he will bring the virus back into the house and that I will get infected. If he comes down with it then he won't be able to accompany me to the hospital and I'll be giving birth on my own.

So yeah, thanks for nothing, Ocado.

Has anyone managed to book a delivery after the 4th of April?

I received an email this afternoon that says I get priority access to the site, which means no virtual queueing. And the email says they are releasing new slots today. But when I logged on, there are no slots available.
I have an anytime pass for years and a weekly reserved slot normally.

I have the anytime pass email too - I will believe it when it happens and am not holding my breath. I suspect they’re scared about how many of us are saying we’ll cancel the pass.

Ok so... sorry I’m a bit thick. I’ve only been using Ocado since Dec 19. Is there some notice that only longer-term customers will be able to use it?

Should I give up my nightly ritual of queuing, praying for a slot and falling asleep with the phone in my hand?

I'm an Ocado Reserved customer and have had the email of doom.

However, it seems that my order next Tuesday will be ok (I've just edited it and checked out) but that subsequent orders won't be.

Does that make sense?

Hi Redferrari, I think that the only difference between you and other customers is that you don't have to queue to get into the site.

that's how it is for me anyway. (Ocado reserved)

That’s how I read it, thereisfreedom. Orders placed, checked out and confirmed are still coming. Future reserved orders are not.

I finally got the email now and I am a anytime pass holder. They say they will email us all. I think it’s just the system has a lot of mail to go through. Hopefully like they say, I can get one delivery a week. I normally do two, but I’m happy with just one given the circumstances.
