I'm currently 18,480th in the queue out of 29,085. Last time I got into the site there were no slots at all for my area though (and it would only let you book up to six days ahead). I wonder if there will be anything available this time.

It seems like things have got even worse since they shut down for a few days last week - is that down to even more increased demand do we think?

I started optimistically in a fast moving 700ish queue. Then got flung into another huge one. I’ve been position 25,000 ish for 45mins now. The queue behind me is growing but I’m not getting any nearer to the front.

I finally got on just before 8.30 after from 6.20. I kept getting to the front of the queue and then going back to the start. There were two different holding screens. One that said it was going to be down 2am till 6 am, and then another that implied I was in a proper queue. The worst it got was 13k, but it really was two hours to get on.

I'm glad I got an instant hope added to the basket a couple of weeks ago. It may not be what I want, but at least it is stuff we will use.

I just wish I could get a Tesco slot for MIL.

I managed to obtain a delivery slot on another site then it timed out even though I swear I was within the timeframe, site was so slow then even paid

I was in the queue this morning and stuck at 658 for about an hour, before I got booted down to 3004 or some such nonsense. DH is on early turns this week so I've been checking at about 5AM and there's been no slots available.
I just wish they could let you log in straight away, they'd know then what warehouse serves your house, so they could tell you there's no slots for the next week or whatever without you having to wait for hours to be told this. It's just such a waste of time and the queueing system has a mind of its own.

I think Ocado need to sort out what they are actually doing for the longer term. I've been a customer with them for 10 years, placing weekly shops - because of their excellent customer service. Easy website, few substitutions, only late once, really helped me out when I was late once, I have a reserved slot, not idea if I am actually still getting my shops. Now number 27k in the queue. Basically once this is over I'm moving to Waitrose for deliveries. I'm also on my way out to go to the butchers I have so little faith I'm actually getting food from Ocado. They should close, only delivering for those who need it, or sort out who their actual customer base is.

Totally weird. I was 39th in a queue of 39 and got in within a minute.
But it was pointless as a PP says, no delivery slots whatsoever (and it's only showing slots up to this Friday, 27th) you click on 'next 3 days' to see a message saying 'we have no more slots available,'.
I think they are only releasing slots one day at a time, yesterday the dates went to Thursday 26th. When Friday's slots came up they were all unavailable. Of course.

So I finally got into the website to be told this:

The site is currently open for editing orders already booked for delivery up to Sunday 29th March only. We will open more slots in the near future.

They could have told me that before I joined the virtual queue! And how are we meant to know when more slots are available? Confused

That’s really irritating, @wondering7777. If that information was available before we all jammed the site queueing most of us probably wouldn’t bother.

wondering7777 you've actually provided more information than the useless Ocado twitter feed. They just tell you to keep checking for delivery slots. I think they expect you to be psychic.

Yes there appear to be no future slots released. When the website was shut down I think the latest booking smight have been arounf 5th April ish.

I don't think they have opened any slots beyond the 5th April,. I think any slots now available are due to people cancelling orders or them having found extra vans/drivers.

So what are they doing for the future?

Thousands of people queued to access the website pointlessly. They need to be clear what the policy is.

This made so mad the other day!! Waited 45 minutes!! Then finally got through for it to then tell me no delivery slots! Why they couldn't just tell you that before I don't know. it's put me right off ocado!!

I managed to get on. I could edit my order for this coming Friday and next Friday. It’s showing as not being able to generate my next order for Friday 10th as the slots are booked but they aren’t coming up as bookable.
