The Ocado Queue Thread.

Hello. Are you in the Ocado virtual queue? What position are you?
Would you like some company?

I think they should refund the Smart Pass delivery charges for this month as it's almost impossible to actually book those deliveries...

I do have an existing delivery booked for Monday. No news yet about when I might be able to edit it.

I wasn't sent a link (for a Mon delivery) but I just went on the website and was added to the virtual queue. Managed to get on no problem. Things showing is stock BUT when I went to add them to my basket, it wasn't showing up. I think you can only remove things you don't want. I also looked to see if there were any delivery slots showing up - just one for tomorrow!

I decided to give up on making any changes and just leave my order as is.

I had already created my Ocado reserved orders last week to book them in advance for next week and the week after.
I went to the website and clicked the link and it let me on.

I should stop reading this thread! It’s creating a compulsion to get in and take some action on the website - even though I’ve reviewed my order (on confirmation email) and really don’t need to amend anything.

I see what you mean. How long did it take to get in?

Although I’m not sure if it will let me as my order is tomorrow it doesn’t say that though on site.

I know they're doing their best but the website's been closed for 3 days now and orders due tomorrow and Monday can't be added to? You can only remove items? That's a bit of a poor show imo…

I just got on and edited my order for Friday but it won’t let me edit the following week or book another slot for the week after that. It said 2 hr wait but was about 30 mins

I’m in but it shows two whole days blank which you can’t book them trying to press next 3 days and it says no more slots

So basically no future order

I assume you can’t add to an order when editing?

When I edited my Friday order I could add as well as remove stuff.

I have an order Monday and have been able to add. The holding page asked people to try to just come in and edit the once. They have put limits on stuff, loo roll looks like one pack, I added one lot, changed my mind to another, but I couldn't add the second before I had removed the first.

Still a bit out of stock but overall choice is looking a lot better.

There were slots available to book when I went into edit my order, although there weren’t very many..

When did you do that away?

I couldn’t do anything. Annoying. If I could book for two weeks away would be better.

I had a Saturday 28th slot booked already.. went into edit about 20 mins ago.. they were showing available slots on Thursday afternoon and Friday between 10-11pm. I couldn’t see any further than the Saturday slot I had booked.

Annoying why couldn’t I going to try again

The website seemed to freeze for a while, my number in the queue didn't move at all for over half and hour. I refreshed the pagr (naughty) and it still stayed the same. So i think the page had frozen.
So I closed it down and started again and it STILL came up with the same position.
I have a delivery due for Tuesday so i don't quite know what's going on at all. Just have to wait and see i suppose.

I also seem stuck in the same position. Closing the window doesn’t have any effect.

I’m supposed to have a reserved order for Friday but I haven’t seen the usual email that the order has been created. I’m going to be furious if my reserved slot has been given away when I’ve purposely avoided doing the shop to give others a chance to get in and do theirs.

I just got on and added to my shop coming next week. I also created a full delivery for the following week but it then wouldn’t show me any slots so I wasn’t able to check out on that one... makes me think I should have added more to next weeks to see us through but I was trying to be considerate and only buy what we need for the week!

Finally got on. My order for Friday was waiting to be generated - there were a few unavailable items but I was able to get a reasonable substitute for most of them. Order for the following Friday says there is no slot available but I think that’s because Ocado have locked all new orders past the 29th. Hopefully the order will go through when they release the post-29th slots.

I'm trying to edit my order too and now stuck in same position for last 5 minutes without moving.

If this happened to anyone else earlier can you let me know if any point in persevering?

I appreciate they've been inundated but really don't want the things they've added to my regular order so this is utterly frustrating....

Hi, this happened to me too- over an hour without moving. I think it was because I opened a new tab and it stopped working. I then tried again and only kept the ocado tab open and closed all others and I went from being 8000th in the Queen to getting in in about 20 minutes! So it appears you can't flick between tabs- just stay on it!

Just to update in case it's helpful for anyone - stay on the page as it is still in progress even if there is a lag in the queue position. I got into the site in about half an hour.

All their offers are out of stock but did manage to get pasta!!
