The Ocado Queue Thread.

Hello. Are you in the Ocado virtual queue? What position are you?
Would you like some company?

The editing people want to do is it because the whole order is out of whack with what you want? Or just a few items.

I probably tend to edit about 30% of my order. It auto orders automatically and I would say it’s usually a good guesstimate but some things I end up with too much of and other things I might want more ad-hoc.
If I can’t edit my orders anymore I guess that’s fine. I’ve edited already for Saturday delivery and if going forward it’s more difficult I don’t think that’s much really compared with everything else we’re putting up with.

I feel guilty having a perfect Saturday morning slot like I should donate it to someone more in need... but we’re Symptomatic and self isolating so going to the shops is out anyway. And I have genuinely ordered online for like 4 years so it’s not like I’m new demand.

My order is supposed to come 5-6 tonight but no email or text. Now I'm slightly concerned.

My delivery arrived just now, on time and only 1 item missing, strong wholemeal flour.

Omg I'm panicking now, still no text or email...

Just got a link to edit my 9am order tomorrow. It says you can only delete items or cancel order - not add anything on.

Bugger. I need to add several things.

Ordered my monthly dog food on Tuesday to come yesterday. No show. No email or text.

I got through to the link on my phone but not on my pc and managed to delete a few items

Order set to come today. Only substitution is a free range chicken for an organic one - I'll survive.

Mine turned up 20 mins late with an apology! I said I didn't mind at all. Three suitable substitutions and one missing item (dettol wipes - quelle surprise)

Got my text about 30 minutes ago! They're not sending one loaf of bread but that's not the end of the world and they are sending the par-cooked baguettes etc I ordered. And one swap is from Ocado brand to Waitrose brand. So I'm not feeling too hard done by. Also on the bread thing, it occurred to me that it might look like I've got too much as I've ordered 2 loaves for our elderly neighbours, one for us and then 3 packets of par-cooked bread. So maybe they didn't send it for that reason. I can live with that.

I just logged on to review my order on Sunday and every single thing is out of stock. Fuck.

All delivered but I’m sure I got random doubles of two things.

@LadyTiredWinterBottom2 is that the things you already ordered? Or new things you want to add? (It does say you can only delete or cancel and not add).

Lady - it's showing everything as out of stock so that you can't add to your order.

Aargh! I ordered an expensive bottle of whiskey to reserve my slot for Sunday and am now allowed on the website so I can do the actual order...except it's showing everything as being out of stock. Literally everything.

You can’t add to your order only reduce or cancel

I've just had an email. If you ordered for this weekend you can only remove stuff. You can't add anything new. So with only a bottle of whiskey in my order so far, I'm screwed.

How are you all bringing your shopping in? Spraying with something / putting in quarantine / same as normal?

I’m rinsing stuff for the fridge and freezer, then putting them away. Everything else is in quarantine. I’m wearing gloves to handle stuff at this point.
