Yes weeks of working with plane loads of people.

idonttrustboris · 06/03/2020 13:57

Why are public health England so much more relaxed about it than China and Italy ?

LarkDescending · 06/03/2020 14:00

Has it been said that the BA staff are cabin crew?

For those surprised by Germany’s low number of new cases today - it has seemed to me over recent days that their updates were piecemeal, not necessarily consolidated into a daily total. So there may be more to come.

hankyspanky · 06/03/2020 14:03

@LarkDescending Yes it is confirmed they are cabin crew

OldQueen1969 · 06/03/2020 14:03

Guardian says it's cabin crew......

The most basic logic says that having up to 300 people in a metal tube for several hours at a time with air recycling systems and a virus in circulation in many countries creates a high risk environment. Sigh.

UK numbers late again?!

Skyejuly · 06/03/2020 14:04

I bet they are.

Nicepud · 06/03/2020 14:05

Are the UK numbers going to be later again today? And when will we know which towns etc?

Skyejuly · 06/03/2020 14:06

I am hoping they tell us towns.

Greentea93 · 06/03/2020 14:06

They were bagage handlers

ChipotleBlessing · 06/03/2020 14:07

I wouldn’t panic about the cabin crew yet. I don’t think there have been any confirmed cases k FB transmission on planes.

HairyFloppins · 06/03/2020 14:07

Daily Fail says they were baggage handlers.

NatyoCheese · 06/03/2020 14:08

163 in UK.

JeannieTheZebra · 06/03/2020 14:08

163, 1 death.

FurForksSake · 06/03/2020 14:08

I reckon it will be 4pm for numbers as they will need to add graphics or some such to the website to show the towns.

hankyspanky · 06/03/2020 14:08

Sorry my mistake, ignore my earlier post! BA baggage handlers, Thanks for making me look a twat, at The Guardian.
