Very disturbing

"BODIES AND BLOOD Piles of bodies and rivers of blood can be seen from space after thousands massacred in brutal Sudan killings
Experts say over 2,000 civilians were killed during the Rapid Support Forces’ seizure of El Fasher"

Flashbacks to the footage of bodies in the river in Rwanda.

Humans are awful.

Everexpanding · 29/10/2025 11:02

@Ihatetomatoes can I ask what is your motivation for posting about Sudan on CITME, Sudan is not in the Middle East?

The situation is appalling and hopefully those responsible will face justice as all those who carry out war crimes should

Prolonging to cause more suffering and benefits to already rich countries

"The United Nations has accused foreign players of prolonging the war in Sudan, making it harder for the country to find peace. The fighting between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces started in April 2023. It was sparked by two generals competing for power after a failed political transition.
Since then, the conflict has taken on a regional and international dimension. Several external actors are supporting the two warring parties with arms, ammunition and money. The United Arab Emirates is emerging as one of the foreign players most invested in the war.
We asked May Darwich, who has studied the alliances that countries in the Middle East form in the Horn of Africa, for insights into this evolving situation.

Why these nations aren't called out more fot it!

Not humans. Men. If the victims are mostly female and the perpetrators are almost all men, it's not humans.

And funded by shady bastard men in other places. Africa has been a playground for proxy wars for far too long.

It never really gets onto mainstream news at all. Ignored, forgotten and side lined.

460 killed in an attack on a Maternity Hospital this weekend. (Staff and patients)

Unimaginable cruelty. How the world stands idly by I don't understand.

Twiglets1 · 29/10/2025 16:02

So bloody depressing.

Why is it with men and violence? (not all men of course)

MushMonster · 29/10/2025 16:09

Oh my God!
Why, why, why won't they stop selling weapons to this disgrace? Why?
It is beyond horrific.

This war is... I do not even have the words to describe it... and nothing. Rarely makes it to the news. No real pressure on the parties behind the two armies to stop providing weapons. Or at least tell these barbarians to pack it and stop this. I believe they are paying in gold. So... the life of millions apparently isnot as worthy as a bit of gold.

And many more will die absolutely brutal deaths now el Fasher has fallen.

No international pressure at all. The people there must feel completely forgotten.

I actually remembered I had read something about that when I saw your post.

It's a terrible cycle. There is a video of a man beside a woman hanging from a tree (I don't recommend looking it up) and he looks emotionless.

Thank you ... the photo of the little boy with the imitation gun...it seems a hopeless cycle

The RSF consider themselves to be arabs, the people they are killing are considered to be black. The UAE is likely involved.

It’s horrific OP, some of the stuff coming out of Sudan is just the most brutal stuff I have ever seen. They are literally ethnically cleansing people. It’s clearly a genocide not just a war.

Because a lot of the actors behind the Sudanese conflict are Middle Eastern. People on this board don't like talking about conflicts that can't be blamed on Israel, though.

Because people are busy looking at Gaza.

Bringemout · 29/10/2025 17:21

They were literally just executing people. It’s unbearable.

Because people are busy looking at Gaza.

Let's not bring it to that and compare atrocities. The Sudanese deserve to be discussed and highlighted in their own right and not just in relation to point scoring with the Gaza conflict .
