Arab/Palestinian antisemitism and ideology made Hama’s extremist ideology a certainty. Nothing could have stopped it except changing the ideology and stopping the antisemitism.
Hamas have been quite clear in their charter they see this as a religious war. I don’t get why people don’t accept that.

TBH I kind of think if Netanyahu’s solution then had taken place, this conflict would have ended decades ago and a lot more Arabs/Palestinians would been living peaceful lives in Israel.
The PLO issued its charter in 1964. When the West Bank and Gaza were occupied by Jordan and Egypt respectively. 3 years before the 1967 war.
Israel could only try to contain Hamas to mitigate the risks to Israel.
Israel has never started a war unlike the 9 wars it’s Arab neighbours started with them.
Jews having any superiority on perceived Arab/Muslim lands is the issue in a nutshell.
