Freedom Flotilla

Thought this might be worth its own thread. The freedom flotilla The Madleen was getting close to Gaza but seems to have made a diversion, as it was the closest boat to answer a distress call. They seem to also have four Sudanese asylum seekers on board who were trying to escape the Libyan coast patrol.

The UK and France are asking Israel for its safe passage.

The tracker is here but is in and out of action.

More details here, although the latest detour is not covered in the article.

Then it'll be fine as long as they have their paperwork.

No it really won’t. These type of marches has been stopped before. Egypt have either turned them back or let a small group through only.

You are right it’s not just the US. They don’t want trouble at the border either. I just think they could facilitate more.

No they didn't.

But it's good to know your post has every piece of Israeli propaganda recycled in it.

"Inadvertently kill innocent people"

It would be laughable if it wasn't so tragic.

Yes they did. Suggest you brush up on your comprehension skills.

If you you’re going to have extraordinary accusations that the IDF are deliberately targeting civilians, you’d better have extraordinary evidence. Which you don’t have.

So Egypt regularly stop these kind of marches? Because America.

They’re using terms like "alleged" and 'Hamas operative' very deliberately because they can’t prove it and they don’t want to get sued. Even the Telegraph covered this, and as your own source notes, Birawi was eventually awarded compensation when he sued the NatWest financial database for allegedly putting him on a terrorism watch list. That speaks volumes. It has all the hallmarks of an Israeli intelligence smear campaign, because that’s almost certainly what it is.

Telegraph reporting it again now too.

And Christian Wakefield MP for Bury, raised it in the House of Commons in Oct 2023 and Nov 2023.

You can view it on Hansard seeing as you didn’t like the Daily Mail.

Is he lying as well?

Thanks for the heads up - quite and somehow I don't think we will ever hear a peep from the BBC's chief tormentor and ex of that parish Danny Cohen.

What about the war crimes warrant? Because it's not some randomers on a thread who issued that.

Have you read the actual indictment? Obviously not otherwise you wouldn’t have posted such a fallacious comment.

YourOnMute · 09/06/2025 23:00

It's not fallacious. But Netanyahu can go and defend himself in court..after all the innocent should have nothing to fear.
Attacking residential areas, hospitals and schools etc without sufficient evidence and failure to follow the correct procedures (if such evidence does exist) are war crimes.
The ICC (apologies might be the ICJ) said that in particular claims that hospitals were military control bases/operation centres were "grossly exaggerated".

No pic of marks on wrists from being zip tied or do the IDF use special feather ones?

Because they took their phones and cameras?????

They were held for 7 hours. I’m sure any marks would have still been there when they got to a phone.

Actually they said their phones were given back but you don’t need a signal or internet to take a picture.

They were driving not left in the desert to walk for days.

Plastic zip ties tend to leave some marks.

Is he lying as well?

He would have done so under Parliamentray privilege which prevents him being sued for libel and he was a Tory who crossed the aisle - one of those 'principled' turncoats. Secondly he is Vice Chair of the Labour Friend's of Israel and has been on multiple paid trips to Israel in the past couple of years hence forgive me when I don't think him to be an unvarnished purveyor of the truth. Oh and finally he has spoken out against a ceasefire which marks him pretty much at his juncture as a hardliner and at variance with at least 2 former Israei PMs.

The hospitals terrorists were confirmed hiding under when they were eliminated you mean?

No, I said what I mean as I typed above. Read it again if it confuses you.

NotABottie · 09/06/2025 23:11

I’d have thought bringing it up may have been a bit of a risk for him though? Seeing as he was outing terrorists and all.

Of course, everyone lies but Hamas.

Difficult to deviate from that narrative isn’t it?

Is.the Telegraph an Israeli shill as well?

As well as the NY post and the other media outlets reporting it now?

I’m sure you have something you can bring up about them all to deflect to…………

From Telegrapg that you linked ;

In 2013, Mr Birawi was named by Israel as a Hamas operative in Europe, and he's the head of the Europal Forum, which Israel labelled a terrorist organisation in 2021.

But if any of that were actually proven and credible, he would’ve been arrested and charged in the UK by now. He hasn’t been whereas a member of the band Kneecap actually has faced charges here. So at best, it’s unproven. At worst, it’s a politically motivated smear.

What the fuck do you think carpet bombing refugees tents is?

Listen to every doctor that has left the area talking about drones snipering children in the head.

Don't worry you'll get your extraordinary evidence during the war crime trials.

AdultHumanF · 10/06/2025 00:43

Ologies if I’ve missed it, but where is Greta now? Has she released a statement since being taken to Israel yet?

Apparently being medically checked by the genocidal Israelis.

The cowards apparently refused to see what they were actually supporting by watching a 45 minute video of footage taken by Hamas and the ‘innocent civilians’ who participated in Oct 7th themselves.

Says it all really.

I wonder how many on here have watched it in addition to watching all the propaganda videos out of Gaza? Just for balance like? The images will never leave you.

I’m not Israeli or Jewish but it invoked such anger and disgust in me (the cries of ‘slaughter the Jews, Allahu Akbar’, the pregnant woman having her fetus cut out and beheaded in front of her, the dead being attacked as if killing then wasn’t enough, the heads chopped off from soldiers and held up as trophies, the bodies of raped women), that I will never stop supporting Israel and know I am 100% on the right side.

This is a battle of good and evil. In that video, you see the evil plain and simple.

YourOnMute · 10/06/2025 01:07

SigmundinaCafe · 09/06/2025 22:46

Jesus, Mary, Saint Joseph, and the wee donkey, I’ve just got round to watching the video of the Selfie Yacht getting intercepted 😂😂😂😂😂 It’s fucking hilarious, what a bunch of losers. I can barely type this I can’t stop laughing 😆

And even better, there’s an Al Jazeera person on board, the Qatar backed, blood libelist, propaganda machine. Is any of us remotely surprised by this revelation? No.

Can you even imagine, having the audacity to sail past Morocco, Algeria, Libya, Tunisia, Egypt, and be in the direct vicinity of Lebanon, Syria, parts of Kurdish Turkey, Yemen, Somalia, Sudan, and Ethiopia, and the first place you’re going to provide aid to is Gaza? The place that’s been receiving an aid a surplus for the past two years, and billions of dollars for well over a decade before that?! My god.

This has been very revealing, at least there’s that: anyone who thinks these bozos are to be admired better get themselves checked out, that’s all I can say.

This has been bugging me.
It's Jesus, Mary and Joseph and etc. Never St. Joseph!

Is that according to the same news source that reported that Israel was attacking them?

They will be deported safely back to their countries of origin.

Stop with the hysteria.

Facts, not hysteria. Putting my posts down as hysteria speaks volumes.

According to updates they are going through medical examinations. Hopefully not against their will.

Please don’t compare MLK and the suffragettes to a boatload of terrorist sympathisers trying to provoke a reaction, for propaganda purposes and SM clicks in an active war zone situation from a tiny country fighting terrorists on 7 fronts, and failing miserably.

Getting really boring calling them terrorist sympathisers . I think you’ll find if you pop over to the news around the world none of them agree with you.

Weren’t you the poster who said they’d been ‘attacked’ which was blatantly false.

I think hysteria was an accurate description.

YourOnMute · 10/06/2025 01:41

Actually many people that we now regard as statesmen of peace were accused of being terrorist sympathisers (Northern Ireland) (MLK) (suffragettes), terrorist agitators or actual terrorists (you could say the same for all three). Think of the history of any country's struggle from the colonial/racist yoke: full of them.
I'll admit I don't know enough to make a definitive case, but perspective is key.
I do know one of the women is an MEP.
And in case anyone wants to make claims about my "agenda" (still waiting for the clarification on that), I don't support terrorism. Stating facts doesn't make me a terrorist sympathiser, the same way people were accused in the past.
