Anti Israel Rhetoric is rife. Why?

cindyhove · 05/04/2025 14:19

As of April 5, 2025, numerous armed conflicts are ongoing worldwide, varying in scale and intensity. According to the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights, over 110 armed conflicts are currently being monitored, encompassing both international and non-international engagements.
why is israel the only one to be demonised out of the current 110 conflicts?
The answer is blindingly obvious

At least this Palestinian is calling out the leadership, but he lives in the US so he's safe to do so now. If people actually cared about Palestinians they'd spend less time attacking Israel and more te trying to free Gazans from Hamas

Why are you so intent on publicising one guy on Twitter?

No. Already said that. It was the use of the word ‘luckily’.

Yes luckily people cannot support Hamas a terrorist group in the U.K. offline or online.

Some might see it as an inhibitor of free speech I suppose.

Luckily as in it’s a positive thing, I’m glad people cannot support them.

Maybe, maybe not. What I'm not going to do is believe a single thing that comes from a group of people so evil and depraved that they kidnapped a mother with her two children in her arms, burned a whole family alive including 3 children under the age of ten, shot an 8 year old boy in the middle of his forehead and tied a mother and child together with zip ties then burned them alive and then promised to do it all again

I don't trust any organisation that sends drones to kill two boys, waiting for their friends before going to school. https://www.dci-palestine.org/israeli_drone_strikes_kill_three_palestinian_boys_in_tammoun However appalling the behaviour of Hammas on 7th October, what justifies using drones in the West Bank to kill children? The Israeli forces don't even bother to use soldiers to do their killing, they send machines. Though they did use soldiers to stop the parents reaching their children to try and save them.

I'm going to go with the most obvious and say they have no intention of wiping out Palestinians.

What's happening now is just a war that the Palestinians stupidly started. They need to look to their leaders who got them into this situation, and also the many Palestinian workers who spied on their Israeli employers for Hamas. They've put a permanent stop to the thousands of Gazans who were employed in Israel. They'll never be trusted again.

The whole situation the Palestinians have created for themselves us utterly ridiculous. Their leadership have utterly failed them.

All they have now is lies, propaganda and inflated death tolls.

“What's happening now is just a war”

you can’t even see your own callousness can you?

Facebook actually and I have no intent, although I can see why he's not popular with those who just want to demonise Israel without actually doing anything for Gazans

I'm not callous, I just see it as a war that Hamas made inevitable, as opposed to a genocide or the deliberate destruction of Palestinians as you claimed it to be

If you don't like Ahmed, perhaps you'll prefer Loay Alshareef

What a load of utter rubbish and propaganda!!!! Anyone who reads beyond the daily mail understands the history and knows Israel has been slaughtering innocent Palestinians for decades . Nearly a million displaced and thrown out of their homes . Tens of thousands killed to make way for the Zionists and ongoing violence ever since. The settlers terrorising Palestinians and killing them to steal their homes. More UN resolutions passed than against any other country and this is all before October 7th !!!!

Kakeandkake · 07/04/2025 18:06

The world sees Israel in it's real colours. Have you not seen the protests globally against Israel? A terrorist state that starves and murders Palestinian children.

whathaveiforgotten · 07/04/2025 18:11

@PollyPaintsFlowersdid you have a source for your claim that the population in Gaza has grown in the last 18 months? I can find projected figures that expected growth before the war and have been misreported as being real time growth, leading to lots of coverage correcting that figure to an actual decline of 6%?

LoremIpsumCici · 07/04/2025 18:11

Wow, OP, so you must think we think Putin is fighting neoNazis in Ukraine as a favour to Europe, think that M23 is a new motorway to Kent, think that Haiti’s got a democracy where each gang leader is like an MP, that the Chinese have kindly put the Uyghurs in university campuses for education, and the Myanamar are simply economic migrants.

Or perhaps you are simply uninterested and uninformed on these other conflicts.

EasternStandard · 07/04/2025 18:16

On protests I very much felt for the people protesting against Hamas. Being met with violence is really troubling.

Martymcfly24 · 07/04/2025 18:32

@Kakeandkake I'm seeing Israel's true colours now through some (definitely not all)posters eyes. It's actually made me understand the way Palestinians have suffered and been dehumanised for past generations.

The complete lack of empathy for their fellow humans has actually shocked me .

We can all argue about the powers that be and the decisions bad men make but not to be able to see a grieving mother or father as human is quite extraordinary.

I saw it a long time ago, there were many pages I used to follow on social media that i had to unfollow after the war started because I couldn't believe what I was seeing and hearing. Funnily, they all used to say similar things at similar times, like a script. The same repeated lies and justifications for acts that can never be justified, the same propaganda being spouted at the same time. Perhaps with the aim that if it was said enough times it would become more believable.

Kakeandkake · 07/04/2025 18:51

PollyPaintsFlowers · 07/04/2025 18:46

This kind of dehumanisation?

The kind where Israeli soldiers film themselves mockingly whilst dead Palestinians lie in the background. Or film themselves encouraging wild animals to eat the corpses of Palestinians and share it on their social media for laughs. Or where the IDF start telegram channels posting the bombing and killing of Palestinians to boost morale back home in Israel.

Do you understand now why this conflict/war hasn’t attracted the outrage of the international community in the way you were expecting it to? In actions I mean, as words condemning criminal IDF actions are plentiful.

Do you understand yet that many people just cannot get past October 7th no matter how much you mock us for fixating on that one little massacre (“oh but Hamas… oh but October 7th…”)

That very many of the international community feel - maybe quietly and without engaging in protests or social media spats - that Hamas needs to be destroyed at any cost. And yes, I know it’s easy for us to say that from the safety of living in the West.

I have never mocked anyone and I take great offense at anyone who says I have.

By international community do you mean people or leaders? Because there has been outrage amongst the people globally with thousands of protests around the world.

Apologises if you personally have not used the phrases “oh but Hamas… “ or “oh but October 7th” to mock people who have mentioned these are the reasons they side with Israel. Many people have used those expressions on these threads!

But perhaps you will answer the question of whether you are any closer at all to understanding why the international community hasn’t intervened to stop what is happening in Gaza? Because you did say you are starting to understand some things but didn’t mention that.

I don’t think you understand quite as well as you think you do.

No one wants to stand up to the US alone, especially not now Trump is president.

And the international community can’t legally step in without a UNSC resolution, which the US has and will veto.
