Right into my hands...attemps to discret anybody who has the courage to support the innocent people of Palestine.

Edited

Well I’m not discrediting Gary Lineker by saying he isn’t a sophisticated mind when it comes to foreign policy, am I? He’s a bloody football commentator.

Great to see so many people taking a stand for what they believe to be right.
Any support for innocent Palestinians leads straight to accusations of antisemitism which makes it very difficult for people to speak up.

I’m going to post the first part of your post again as a picture
Hope you don’t mind @AnxiousRose

@Wildflowers99
Well not only football commentators such as Gary Lineker, you're also that claiming that actors, media figures and people with Islamic backgrounds are without a good grasp of global affairs and an objective viewpoint.

That's really something.

Well I’m not going to give their opinions as much weight as respected journalists etc am I? They’re actors, their job is to put on a costume. It doesn’t make them more knowledgable than you, or I, or anyone here.

Part of the problem is that these 'innocent people of Palestine' (as opposed to the actual Hamas terrorists) were the ones to storm a kibbutz (where lived well known peace activists who devoted themselves so much to both helping Gazans and Arab Israeli relationship) and steal innocent Israeli babies from their beds, shoot their beloved dogs in front of them and take them along with their mother to hold them hostage in the Hamas built terror tunnels before murdering them with their bare hands, stoning their tiny dead bodies to make it look like an Israeli attack and then holding their bodies for over a year.)

A lot of this post has come straight off some dodgy propaganda
Prove every bit of this post please.

Tired of inflammatory speak without evidence.

Well you will be pleased to know that in addition to all the media professionals there are award winning journalists among the signees of the letter

Lolapusht · 27/02/2025 00:01

Just learnt that Tsachi Idan is confirmed as being one of the dead to be returned tomorrow. I’ve been following his sister-in-law Heidi Bachram.

For those unfamiliar with their story, their 18 year old daughter was shot in the head in front of them, Hamas/Gazans then live streamed to the family’s Facebook accounts as they tried to explain to their remaining children what had happened and tried to comfort them as best they could. Taschi was then taken back to Gaza and the family have just found out he’s dead.

@DelaneysOnTheWineAgain you want evidence? Watch the film Hamas live-streamed. That sort of comment is something I just can’t understand. This isn’t coming from the Israeli government. Hamas literally filmed themselves doing these things and then proudly posted it on the internet for their followers to cheer. You want evidence, watch this mother cover her child with her body to protect him from bullets.

The terrorists in this video chose to do this. They chose killing and they chose to film themselves doing it.

You're denying what Hamas did to the Bibas babies?

Have you no shame?

And Im sick of 7 October denial. Nothing in that post is controversial. Which bit of it are you claiming is not verified?

Me too. It’s crazy how people are trying to deny what happened on October 7th.
I mean, Hamas themselves filmed
everything.

SharonEllis · 27/02/2025 06:43

When you consider how many 1000s of people work in this industry 500 is not that many. When you look at the list its full of the usual suspects and bandwagon jumpers like Eno, Jones, Sarkar, Sayle, Leigh, Margoyles, Loach. If it impresses people that's up to them I suppose.

What exactly?

There is only one conclusion, that they just want to chip away at the trust in the crediblity of Israeli sources, even though as you say, a lot of the evidence comes from Hamas themselves. If they say it enough they think it will stick. Its quite disgraceful and there is no innocent reason for wanting to do that.

YogiBear19 · 27/02/2025 06:49

I am so saddened my the response to my post. But not surprised. The same old being shut down and silenced by the same posters.

How would you like me to prove the way in which the Bibas babies were murdered? The forensic tests have proved it. There for all to see.

Not a derailment. Not inflammatory. The truth. And a very valid point given the fact that this evil along with other unimaginable horrors (which again I'm sure will be denied here) were perpetuated by 'innocent' Palestinians civilians (as opposed to Hamas.)

YogiBear19 · 27/02/2025 06:54

Exactly @SharonEllis & @inamarina

Lolapusht · 27/02/2025 07:27

Out of all the posts on this thread not directly mentioning the BBC documentary, I think it’s very telling that that particular post has been singled out.

Well done @AnxiousRose and @DelaneysOnTheWineAgain, you must be very proud

AnxiousRose · 27/02/2025 07:46

You see I have not said that this post in question is untrue. I have never denied Hamas brutality.

So yes @Lolapusht I am incredibly proud, that I have stood up for what I believe to be right, that I have not twisted other people's words or made false accusations about anyone. I think it's incredibly important that we respect and try to understand other people's opinions and it is a shame I have not been shown the same respect in return.
