Some reports that negotiators might be inching closer to a deal. Hamas have reportedly provided a list of hostages and conceded to the presence of Israeli troops in Gaza temporarily following a ceasefire... Perhaps a little hope this morning?

Been hearing lots of reports about an imminent hostage deal, that Hamas provided a list of live hostages etc. now hearing that Netanyahu has flown somewhere and times of Israel confirming.

Today there is hopeful news, though hopeful days have come before but then ended up hopeless after all. Fingers crossed.

HOSTAGES/CEASE-FIRE: Hamas has agreed to include 11 young men in the first stage of a hostage release deal, provided they receive a "worthwhile exchange" in return for them, the Egyptian channel Al-Rad reported.

• According to the Al-Rad report, the initial phase of the deal will see 250 Palestinian prisoners serving over 20 years releasedin exchange for hostages who are considered "humanitarian cases," such as women, the sick, the elderly and minors.
• Israel has agreed to release around 200 Palestinian prisoners serving life sentences as part of a hostage/cease-fire deal, a Palestinian source told Haaretz, but added that disagreements remain regarding who would be on the list of names. The released prisoners will reportedly be relocated to Turkey and Qatar.
