Where the hell are all the Palestinians meant to go now?
They were TOLD to go to Rafah, that Rafah was a safe place.
It’s just open extermination at this point.

I was listening to an Israeli ex prime minister (sorry I can't remember his name) on the radio who stated that going into Rafah would be dangerous as it would endanger the hostages. He never mentioned the civilians who would be killed. They simply don't matter.
I feel that there are many posters here who feel the same about Palestinians.

Safe zones that Israel bombs the shit out of? Great option thanks for that.

Why are you blaming everyone except the country currently bombing civilians?

The disrespect on this thread is hideous.

I will try one more time but I know you wont answer it as the answer re "Egypt" and the other places does not tie in with your stance

WHAT BLOODY SAFE ZONES????

We don’t believe in safe zones because they are a lie!! Every time the IDF call somewhere a “safe zone” they then promptly bomb it! You must have noticed? Do keep up.

SummerFeverVenice · 06/05/2024 14:55

Yes why? Why is that?

There is history of civil wars when Palestinian refugees entered countries in the surrounding area. This is well documented and factual before any one gets offended. I’m pretty sure that’s why there has been the reluctance to take them in.

RafaistheKingofClay · 06/05/2024 15:07

DistinguishedSocialCommentator · 06/05/2024 14:37

What do you want them to do??

How would the people that live in England feel if British nationals were taken hostage by a terror group, the same terror group that had fired tens of thousands of rockets at us without a care in the world for us and those living around them

As soon as this Hamas, its leaders around the world are taken out the better it will be all of us INCLUDING THE PEOPLE OF GAZA AND THAT IS A FUNDAMENTAL FACT

Can you name any hostage they we’ve got back as a result bombing the fuck out of somewhere and murdering children?

Even our current government aren’t that insane. Israel were never going to get their hostages back following this course of action. And pretty much every government in the world knows it, including the Israeli government.

@SummerFeverVenice Egypt also has its own history with Rafah.

Well, IDF has besieged Gaza. Gallant put the siege on Oct 9th.

“I have ordered a complete siege on the Gaza Strip. There will be no electricity, no food, no fuel, everything is closed,” Gallant says following an assessment at the IDF Southern Command in Beersheba. “We are fighting human animals and we are acting accordingly,”

Palestinians can’t leave Gaza. The HRW called this out as another rights violation - the right to flee a war zone.

History like this?

Sabra and Shatila massacre: What happened in Lebanon in 1982?

Israeli-backed Phalange militia killed between 2,000 and 3,500 Palestinian refugees and Lebanese civilians in two days.

How anyone, irrespective of nationality, creed, race, politics, or anything at all, can now still stand by Netanyahu and the IDF, and Israel- is just unbelievable.

They were told to go to the South to be safe, and now this. There are just NO words.

You're making no sense. At all.

Acting ingorantly just shows you have no answer

But to remind you

Why is Egypt right next door to Gaza, or Iran/UAE/Lebonnon ETC not telling, bringing out people to their vast countries - WHY??????

That's right, no one wants them in their country as they fear it beingdestabilised - you've got the answer, now just admit but you wont as you have your agenda that I will never accpet

Februaryfeels · 06/05/2024 15:15

TwilightSkies · 06/05/2024 12:52

No, don't be ridiculous. The ultimate reason for it is that Hamas are in Rafah using civilians there as human shields. Hamas then decided to speed things up a bit by firing rockets from Rafah in order to ensure Israel would be guaranteed not to be persuaded by other governments to leave Rafah alone. Hamas don't want Rafah left alone as it suits them perfectly to have as many innocent civilian Palestinians killed as possible as they're pawns in their sick and twisted murderous games.

Hope that clarifies the matter.

When I first read your words I thought you were joking.
But no, you actually seem to believe this.
You are still falling for the lies. Hamas using people as shields 😂
A 7 month old baby orphan has just been slaughtered by the IDF. Hamas fault I suppose?

I'm confused.

Are you saying Hamas ARE NOT using Palestinians as human shields

Surely a typo?

Oh, not the siege then that Gallant established on 9th of October that hasn’t been lifted. Yours seems an odd viewpoint.

Hugosmaid · 06/05/2024 13:04

it absolutely needs to end.

But it won’t whilst Israel , Hamas & Iran are hell bent on destroying each other.

There is absolutely nothing the UK can do about it or are people expecting the U.K. to go to war with Isreal? So in essence team up with Iran and Hamas.

Iran and Israel have been gearing up to this for years. They dont give a shit about what the U.K. think. Hamas and Iran don’t care about their own people. They are happy for the Palestinians to be killed in the name of martyrdom- they have even said this on TV. Hamas are firing rockets at aid being delivered - they want these people to be isolated. Hamas have sacrificed their own people for the benefit of Iran.

The only possible way this will end is the complete surrender of all Hamas leaders and the release of the hostages. Hamas knew they would never win - so the question is why did they allow thousands of their people to be slaughtered?

I think the answer to that can be seen if you look at all these Hamas marches, sit ins and rise of anti-semitism. Mission accomplished

stomachamelon · 06/05/2024 15:19

Israel was told to put a contingency plan in place and safe evacuation.
They have.
They were told to provide humanitarian aid.
They did. (Hamas bombed the crossing)
Hamas steal the aid.
They refuse to make any concessions at discussions for release of the hostages.
They continue to hold hostages including children.
The main players of Oct 7th that remain in Gaza have not been caught and rockets have been fired from humanitarian areas. Therefore Hamas has a presence in Rafah.

The irony of your name and your posts is quite amusing.

Maybe instead of asking about Egypt, ask why Israel is bombing Gaza into the stone age?

Anyway you're making little sense and your views are hateful so I'm not going to talk to you any more.

I stand with Israel but not necessarily wholly supportive of the leader's and the IDF's actions.

Millions do stand and support Israel's right to exist.

So rude, given what's happening to the population of Gaza at Israel's hand.
