I know it's happened before, just not that case in the well known paper "THe Palestinian Chronicle".

But I am impressed how a thread about UNRWA workers taking part in 7/10 has turned into the usual litany of sins of the IDF.

This is not only a thread about urnwa workers taking part on 7-10, but urnwa in general. Also, it was never 100% proven this accusation and Israel has never provided any proof of their accusations

UNRWA confirms that on 14 October, the Israeli Army artillery fired shells inside and outside the UNRWA jabalia food distribution center. At least 10 people were reportedly killed and another 40 were injured. This happened while people were trying to get food from the centre.

The thread expected to discuss evidence of Israeli allegations of UNRWA employees being involved on the side of Hamas on 7/10 but no evidence was ever revealed by Israel. That independent French investigation also found no evidence. Finally, the internal UN investigation found indications that 9 employees may have been involved with Hamas (though not 7/10) and they were all sacked as a precautionary measure.

Every UNRWA employee in OPT is background checked by Israeli intelligence and these are refreshed annually, so if any Hamas collaborator had been missed then where is the evidence that UNRWA was turning a blind eye as it is beyond belief that Israel would have been sloppy on background checks.

Interesting that the man is able to bi- locate.
The UNWRA worker is alive and well with his family after evacuating to Egypt

Will this post * *get deleted if I suggest that some people are very ready to accept Israeli propaganda?

I think the individual whose name and picture were on the ID, was confirmed to actually be in Egypt and to have been there for a while. Most likely either stolen/looted or fake ID - no evidence that the individual was personally involved with Sinwar.

The UNWRA- HAMAs thing is starting to feel like the Wakefield affair. No vaccine has ever been subject to so much scrutiny only to be found to be absolutely safe. No relief agency has ever been subjected to the same level scrutiny as UNWRA and with such malign intent and yet we have a fraction of a per cent of employees as terrorists.

True. It was probably taken from his home by the IDF and planted there in an attempt to implicate UNRWA. It's expired, too. If he has a current one, it's most likely with him in Egypt.
