So, they have got to MN now too.
I just managed to read the previous post before it got deleted for being inflammatory. Not to me it wasn't but then I don't support terrorists.
Many, many people do stand for Israel and not for Hamas (and by definition their supporters; you know who you are).

They won't admit it. And if they begrudgingly do comment, it'll be something along the lines of it's just one rogue soldier who will be punished.

@LilaDidIt I don't know why you would share it on this thread rather than the numerous others condemning the IDF or those discussing sexual violence.

Somewhat goady?

Is that all you have to say about it? Is that all you're focused on? That it's not on the right thread? Really?

I was wrong. Looks like it was still ignored.

stomachamelon · 21/02/2024 14:21

Sexual assault is always unacceptable and all allegations need to be investigated.

BUT the UN is an unreliable source.

All info has been from the UN. No witness statements, statements from any victims. No testimony whatsoever.

Right now it's all a bit vague.

(If you are wondering where I got this response from cast your mind back a couple of months) #metoounlessyourajew.

anotherlevel · 21/02/2024 14:22

@stomachamelon so now you're denying it's happened because of the source?

stomachamelon · 21/02/2024 14:26

@anotherlevel I think my statement is pretty self explanatory.
And your still on the wrong thread.

quantumbutterfly · 21/02/2024 14:35

I don't want to believe this is true, if there is evidence I'm sure it will be investigated and there will be an outcry in Israel about it happening, as opposed to dancing and celebration in the streets seen in Gaza and many other places in the world including the UK after 7/10.
I still stand with Israel and call for release of hostages and bodies and overthrow of hamas from outside or inside Gaza. There are brave people in Gaza calling for that knowing that most of the world supports them.

According to Israel, the majority of other democratic states don't share this view so stating it as fact is wrong.
We can discuss it on another thread as requested and will wait to see how these "credible allegations" are investigated. I believe it to be true and will believe the victims unless proved otherwise

Because (as I said in my post) there was a discussion on this thread about sexual violence against women

You can believe whatever way you like, they have been described as credible allegations by not just the UN and it is being reported across mainstream news outlets. There is no if, there is evidence which will hopefully be investigated independently of the IDF

there have been celebrations in the streets in Israel too at Palestinian deaths, including the deaths of children long before October 7th. Israelis don't hold the moral high ground there.

If the Israeli government allowed the international press in and stopped killing Palestinian journalists, then we would be able to document what is happening in Gaza.
Rape as weapon of war is nothing new,. The allied raped their way through France and the Nazis before them. The probability of the IDF soldiers raping Palestinian men and women is really high.

stomachamelon · 21/02/2024 15:48

Released by Israeli Association of Rape Crisis Centre.

Trigger warning.....

stomachamelon · 21/02/2024 15:50

In the report systematic and premeditated gang rape of underage girls, boys, men and women in four different locations.

The UN will receive the report from Israel.

Like the moral outcry in Israel about the 12000 slaughtered children? I must have missed that.

Could you please link the source of this? I'd like to read it.

Those videos are awful. There is no room for extremism either side of the coin. We cannot move forward unless it's eradicated.

100% there are horrible people everywhere and it's important to call it out no matter where it's coming from.

stomachamelon · 21/02/2024 16:20

@Dulra agreed.

quantumbutterfly · 21/02/2024 16:59

Agreed

stomachamelon · 21/02/2024 17:43

@Dulra I should add a note though (after having a more in-depth look) that those videos are a decade old?
I thought you meant in relation to this period?

Februaryfeels · 21/02/2024 17:54

Why would anyone come onto a thread about standing up for Israel and post lots of links that are neither relevant nor current.

Every thread. Same old same old on every thread.

There's been a recent one in the Guardian about celebrating Israelis getting into conflict with journalists on the hill overlooking Gaza - it's the nearest accessible place for international journalists not allowed into Gaza to observe/communicate with Gaza

It's about 5miles from the Gaza-Israel border called ?Ash-something

@stomachamelon that was my original quote I did say long before October 7th. Celebrating murder especially of children is wrong no matter when it happened. I was just pointing out that it has happened in Israel too.
