Where is Hind ?

Desertrose2023 · 01/02/2024 12:33

6 year old Hind Hamadeh was in a car with her family, including her mum, dad and 4 siblings. Their car came under fire from the Israeli army and her whole family was killed. Paramedics from the Palestine Red Crescent were dispatched to try and rescue her. Nothing has been heard of Hind or the ambulance crew for 48 hours!

when will these appalling incidents end.

Please raise awareness where you can about their disappearance. Here is the recording of Hind’s call begging for help.

@etmoiandme I don't consider replying to people as a pile on. I just felt a thread about the murder of a child didn't need the comment that was made.

Maybe threads about individuals, especially children shouldn't be here at all. This is someone's daughter, grandaughter, sister, niece, cousin, friend discussing them on such an emotive board doesn't feel right to me. In saying that though I understand the importance of showing the people behind the statistics. It's all just so difficult

Why are you surprised about this? Surely you don't expect her to read the Book of Mormon ?

You are being flippant about a child reading the Quoran before dying? Why?

anotherlevel · 18/02/2024 20:36

I've just seen this post on social media.
I can't find any sources for the new audio they found. Has anyone heard or read anything about it?

🚨^Brand new audio of the sweet Palestinian girl, Hind, who saw the Israel military murder her entire family in their car, and called for help.

Here we hear Hind describe soldiers approaching her in a tank before they slaughtered her as well.

This murder alone should’ve shocked the conscience of the world so much that everything stopped. ^

I was at a funeral this morning of a child, a friend and classmate of my child. The effect that the loss of this child has had on the community was clear to see. Family, neighbours, friends, classmates, teammates, teachers, coaches, parents of the children affected and many more. Hundreds of people all coming together to honour this poor child who will never get to see adulthood. It was a lot, so much grief and loss.

Hind, Layan,Sidra and 1000s and 1000s more children, all gone forever, all leaving the same holes in their communities that the child whose funeral I attended today has. It is incomprehensible how Gaza can ever recover from this. How they manage to put one foot in front of the other when faced with a level of grief that is unimaginable.

My child is dreading school on Monday and being faced with the empty chair of his friend. Gaza will have over 12,000 empty chairs if they ever get back to school. I know this is a bit of a pointless ramble but I'm just so sad this afternoon, so much pointless loss, so much avoidable grief, so many empty chairs and so many children like my son left grieving over them.

Thanks for sharing this and highlighting the far and devastating impact the death of one child can have. To be in Gaza right now with as you say all those empty chairs, must be for most people like a living nightmare. The suffering of 12,000 chairs must surely be far greater than the sum of those empty chairs. Are any children still receiving an education, are there even any chairs left to sit on.

I am sorry for your loss, your son’s loss, and your community’s loss.

Idf says they weren’t in the proximity when hind was killed. That’s not what satellite images apparently show

There was also the remains of the tank shell found in the ambulance sent to rescue Hind.

Here's an article from The Times of Israel stating that the IDF said they weren't in the vicinity.

www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/idf-no-troops-were-operating-in-area-where-6-year-old-gazan-girl-was-killed-earlier-this-month-initial-probe/

I know many posters would like to believe this is true but given the evidence, it's a lie.

EasterIssland · 22/06/2024 07:42

A British organisation has done some investigation about what happened

“From the tank position indicated by the greatest alignment between entry and exit holes, we concluded that the shooter would have had a clear view of the car and its passengers. In other words, they would have been aware of the presence of two children.

And let’s say, for the sake of argument
they thought there were Hamas people in it, so they decided to shoot them anyway, how could they justify the annihilating of the ambulance they had just okayed and given a route to?

Did they give it a route and then have fun going to find it and blowing it up?

Israel denied it.

Forensic investigation suggests they are lying.

ScrollingLeaves · 22/06/2024 21:49

In case anyone does not realise, the ambulance was going to rescue a badly wounded little girl who was alone in the car after the others in the car had been killed.

She was talking on the telephone to rescuers originally called by someone else in the car who had since died.

She had to wait 3 hours for the ambulance because that’s how long it took them to get permission from the IDF and get a route from them. Just before they got to her, the IDF obliterated the ambulance they had given the permission to. Hind was left to die alone, blood coming from her mouth.

A harrowing read
Poor Hind and her family
Those poor ambulance drivers who tried to rescue her
How scared must have been all alone in her last moments before being brutally murdered 💔

ConnieCounter · 22/06/2024 22:45

It's the stuff of nightmares. And how many other children have suffered similar fates that we don't know about.

sprigatito · 22/06/2024 22:54

This was a deliberate murder, one among many.
