Where is Hind ?

Desertrose2023 · 01/02/2024 12:33

6 year old Hind Hamadeh was in a car with her family, including her mum, dad and 4 siblings. Their car came under fire from the Israeli army and her whole family was killed. Paramedics from the Palestine Red Crescent were dispatched to try and rescue her. Nothing has been heard of Hind or the ambulance crew for 48 hours!

when will these appalling incidents end.

Please raise awareness where you can about their disappearance. Here is the recording of Hind’s call begging for help.

They are all dead from what I can gather and the posts are to keep awareness up.

The PRCS ambulance was only 1.8 miles from her when they set off after getting permission from IDF to go. That was over 100 hours ago.

Hind’s last words were to say “It’s moving” about the tank that shot up the car within which she was the last survivor of mostly children trying flee. Analysts think the tank may have simply driven over the car and crushed her in it.

The PRCS ambulance and the two paramedics Yousaf and Ahmed are missing too and also presumed dead.

Molymoly · 03/02/2024 18:33

OMG, I'm lost for words. She must have been so frightened. Who in their right mind would drive a tank over a car and yet people still defend them.

Parkingt111 · 03/02/2024 18:34

@MercanDede oh no that would be terrible. I did read that they had permission from the IDF to go to her and I was getting increasingly worried when the PRCS team were not able to re-establish any contact despite this.
The thought of her trapped in the car with her dead family around fearing for her life is horrible.
The healthcare workers from Gaza are the unsung heroes who risk their lives every single day to do whatever they can to help civilians in some of the worst circumstances that we can ever imagine

Yes the IDF knew Hind was in the car. They helped PRCS geolocate it and gave them permission to go and rescue Hind. They set off from only 1.8 miles away, but hours and hours later no sign of them and no contact. Then contact with Hind was lost well after dark. Yousef and Ahmed are likely dead too. I don’t have any hope of them surviving.

Hungrycaterpillarsmummy · 03/02/2024 18:39

How did Hind call for help? How do they know she was the only one alive?

Read any of the links. Layan called her uncle in Germany who called PRCS who called Layan’s phone. Layan is then pleading for help but a new round of gunfire is heard, her screams stop mid gunfire and then silence. Hours later, as they call back, Hind answers Layan’s phone. Hind tells them the whole family is dead.

Well it’s very sad, but these things do happen in war and I’m sure the world’s most moral army wouldn’t hurt her on purpose.

Please remember the 7th of October and that this was the only possible response, but never mention the marginalisation of Palestinians before this date.

And absolutely no use of emotive language to try and politicise the fate of a six year old girl, you couldn’t possibly actually care about the horror she has been subjected to.

Also, if you don’t mention the Israeli hostages then you are antisemitic and support Hamas. These hostages are in no way comparable to the Palestinians who are being wrongful held in Israeli prisons without charge.

That poor little girl.

BabaBarrio · 04/02/2024 00:34

If there had been a ceasefire, these children thousands of others would still be alive. Going to school. Playing.

The world is failed. 😣

Well done, that's 100% accurate! It's exactly what Israel supporters sound like. But you forgot "HAHA FAFO!". I've seen something like that too many times. (Not here. On Twitter)

Thank you for providing that info. I suspected they had probably all been killed but had no idea of those additional details. To read that is beyond heartbreaking.

CNN has now picked the story up and we should all continue to raise awareness so that more MSNs channels report it. Even If for no other reason than forcing the Israelis to admit what they did to that poor child, her family and the brave men who tried to save her.

I'm sitting here looking at my own little girls and it is absolutely heartbreaking knowing this has happened... This is evil beyond belief. I cannot imagine the fear and terror Hind experienced. This should never have been allowed to happen. As for the two extremely brave paramedics who went to try to save her, those poor, brave, brave men. I'm heartbroken for them and their families.

It is a certain type of evil which takes pleasure in murdering innocents but to deliberately use a tank is on a whole other level of barbaric behaviours. (I know they have done this many times previously ~ the videos are available as proof)

This needs to be stopped. As for America wanting to send them more money for weapons, I honestly despair. The world is evil.

I don't think we're the ones who are "hard of thinking".

That poor woman 😭
God give her the strength to survive this.
I hope at least if her daughter is dead - which seems to be the case - the IDF can arrange for her body to be returned so her family can give her a dignified burial and a place to mourn her. Sadly even that seems to be a “luxury” not afforded to many in Gaza these days.

Article from the CNN today. It seems they are continuing to ask the IDF about it. The IDF's initial response was they don't know anything about it despite Layan saying on the phone that they had been shot at by Israeli Tank fire aswell as tank fire being heard in the background.
After further probing they have now said they will look into it

Where is Hind? Calls for answers more than a week after rescuers go missing trying to save trapped 6-year-old | CNN

Demands for answers are mounting over the fate of 6-year-old Palestinian girl, Hind Rajab, who became trapped in a car with her dead relatives after it came under Israeli fire in Gaza more than a week ago.

https://www.cnn.com/2024/02/06/middleeast/israel-gaza-hind-missing-girl-prcs-intl-hnk/index.html

Parkingt111 · 06/02/2024 20:51

Hind’s cousin, 15-year-old Layan Hamadeh, made a harrowing call for help to emergency services that was recorded by the PRCS and shared on social media.
In the clip, the teenager can be heard speaking to a paramedic, crying for help and describing a tank close by.
“They are shooting at us. The tank is right next to me. We’re in the car, the tank is right next to us,” Layan screams, amid intense gunfire in the background.
Layan then goes quiet, and the rounds of fire stop.
The paramedic on the phone tries to speak to her, repeatedly saying, “Hello? Hello?” but there is no response.

Desertrose2023 · 07/02/2024 14:22

Picked up by the Washington Post now too

I hope the story continues to gain traction. The IDF need to return their bodies if they have killed them or at least provide an explanation and closure to their poor families.
