"Audio recording of the moment gunfire was directed at 15-year-old Layan Hamadeh while she was speaking on the phone with the Palestine Red Crescent team.
Layan was killed, and 6-year-old Hind remained trapped inside the car surrounded by the occupation tanks and soldiers.
Our ambulance team went to rescue her yesterday evening, but they have not returned as of now. We lost contact with them about 18 hours ago, and we still remain unaware of their fate and whether they succeeded in evacuating her or not."

Murdering scum.

Warning - distressing and graphic content.

This footage shows the aftermath of the attack in Ibn Sina hospital in Jenin.

Absolutely shocking and terrifying for those involved.

I'm not sure where to post this so apologies if it shouldn't be in here.

Please can someone explain what he meant by

You failed to mention that those killed where Hamas members who were imminently planning a copycat October 7th attack. Context matters.

Isn't that Itamar Ben-Gvir? He really is a nutcase. He seems to want conflict, has been quite clear about it. I imagine it's a flimsy attempt to justify further conflict.

I'm hoping South Africa are leading the way and more countries will push for legal action, and consequently punishment through the courts.

@niceandnew I wasn't aware that they were. But I've just seen this that says they are alleged Palestinian fighters.

"According to the Red Cross, international laws says that combatants receiving medical attention cannot be targeted if "not, or no longer, taking part in hostilities"

This is another level of "depraved" in that it seems "personal" to the soldier state-sponsored sadist (I am not going to call someone like that a "soldier") this is, literally, personal. He is not saying "Israel", or "Jews" (much as I hate that conflation) or anything of the sort ... he is torturing people to pledge allegiance to a family. What the fucking hell???

Well who knows. They were assassinated without trial.

That seems like a well balanced Twitter page?

Very convenient!

@niceandnew but also - I didn't know Hamas were also in the West Bank?

They've been claimed by whichever terrorist group they belonged to.

The IDF is losing the ground offensive in Gaza with an extremely high number of deaths and severe injuries (including mercenaries).

As many experts said before Israel launched this offensive it will be extremely difficult to defeat Hamas militarily on their turf.

The Israeli economy is tanking due to the war, there are still 100'000 displaced Israelis from the towns that border Lebanon.

So some bright sparks in Bibi's War Cabinet are arguing for starting a war with Hezbollah, so that Israel can get a "win" by returning the displaced Israelis to the North.

It's been said for several months that they are. They certainly lynched two alleged Israeli spies a number of weeks ago in a town in the West Bank. Tulkarem I think.

Obviously not in the same numbers as Gaza. I think PIJ are there too.

The West bank is controlled by PA- Palestinian Authority. PA aligns with the Fatah terror group, however there are other groups of terrorists in the West bank too such as Hamas and PIJ.

What charming neighbours Israel has!

Hospitalised since October aged 17, now 18 and in a coma, he wasn’t in a position to plan anything, these were all seriously injured men. His 25 yr old brother was also murdered along with another man. These were seriously injured men. Whether Hamas or not, they didn’t get to stand trial, they were murdered in cold blood in a hospital, a place of safety. There is no doubt about this, it is a serious war crime. To have soldiers dress up as aid workers, doctors and nurses, acting as civilians ( The very thing Hamas get blamed for by Israel all the time ) is terrorist action from state sponsored armed forces. Another war crime. The ICJ are logging all these crimes and I hope they are a little more robust with the next judgement in a few weeks time and impose an immediate ceasefire.

Livinginanotherworld · 31/01/2024 00:47

StarbucksSmarterSister · 30/01/2024 23:22

That’s irrelevant at this point, they were all seriously injured in hospital, one just 18 in a coma. In a safe place whilst they recovered, whereby they could then be arrested and charged and face a court hearing (as is anybody’s humans right) once recovered. The law is very clear on this, it’s a war crime.

That's a different issue. It was being suggested that they weren't really terrorists and I was pointing out that they had been claimed by a terrorist group as being their own.

I don't think this was a sensible action by Israel but to be honest I think one of them being only 18 is kind of irrelevant if he is a terrorist. He'd be more than capable of killing.

Perhaps it should fuck off out of their territory then? It can also take the 700,000 illegal Israeli settlers back. Good neighbours don’t tend to occupy and settle their neighbors.

I would imagine its actually quite difficult to kill people when you’re in a coma
