Do you have a fucking point? Are you saying it's fine to kidnap them and sexually abuse them because they're not "innocent" enough for you?

SomeCatFromJapan · 08/01/2024 21:07

You do realise that the 4 “young teen girls” featuring in this article and all over twitter as “young innocent teens” are actually IDF Soldiers and therefore prisoners of war.

Oh, does that magically make them not teenagers, and make it okay to rape them and kidnap them from a base where they were not engaged in active combat?
They are hostages, not POWs. They were not captured in combat.

Please don't do this. Whatever your opinion of the IDF, these girls do not deserve what they are going through. These girls were surveillance soldiers, they watched the border, please don't demonise and dehumanise them.

SomeCatFromJapan · 08/01/2024 21:11

Yes, it would be like demonising poor Lee Rigby.

My understanding is that there is compulsory conscription in Israel so these nineteen year olds ( yes they are “ young teen girls” ) did not have too much choice. I imagine they would rather not have to be conscripted. Very unpleasant to sneer “If they are so young and innocent why are they sent out to fight and kill innocent civilians ?“
You are suspicious of their innocence but you seem to claim all Palestinians are “innocent civilians “

They are 19 year old girls and they are being held hostage by people who are known to be torturers , rapists and murderers and your response is “ IF they are so young and innocent….

Shame on you ! I am honestly disgusted by this .

They are hostages.
They weren't in active combat. They watched the border.
The UN has released a pathetic statement and the the Red Cross has refused to take them Medicine.
Which means the rape victims have no form of contraception.
Other hostages have confirmed that sexual violence has taken place.

I honestly can't believe you can type that in all good faith. Disgusting.

The Red Cross don't appear to have seen any of the remaining hostages including Hersh who lost his arm above the elbow to check if they are ok or still alive.

Nowhere is safe in Gaza, the Red Cross would be bombed just like all the other aid workers, medics and journalists killed by Israel. It’s far too dangerous to check them.

Honestly- your comments are DISGUSTING.
I can’t get my head round a mentality that thinks like this

SomeCatFromJapan · 08/01/2024 21:20

They are not prisoners of war by legal international definition. They were not taken in combat. They were kidnapped.

There are witness testimonies about sexual assaults from returned hostages. You'd think that this rape denial shit will have stopped after the MSM finally published details of the 7 October assaults and sexual torture, but no. Here we are again.

SomeCatFromJapan · 08/01/2024 21:21

Yes, teenagers, as a poster has called them, but what were their parents thinking sending their daughters into combat then ?

Israel has conscription. Jesus, why comment when you know so little about any of this? It's embarrassing for you.

You're sick, you know that?

Their parents didn't sent them into combat. But you'd rather blame them than the cunts who kidnapped them. I wonder why?

Why do you think their fellow captive was lying when she said they were sexually assaulted?

Livinginanotherworld · 08/01/2024 21:23

A surveillance soldier is still capable of killing and will have been trained and equipped, whether they were off duty or not, they were on their base and are military personnel. I don’t think soldiers in any conflict are divided into safe and non safe. They could have been called up to go into combat at any time, therefore could be considered a threat.

The returning hostages have confirmed sexual violence. Me too unless it is a Jew?

We were not at war on October 7th. The war started when Hamas attacked. They were not combat soldiers, they were observation soldiers, they watched the border. Why are you so determined to believe the absolute worst of Israeli soldiers with zero evidence, but we can't assume Hamas are raping/SA these hostages just on other hostages say so...?

What about Naama Levy, 19, also currently a hostage, the famously photographed girl with the cut ankles and blood all around the seat of her trousers, who participated in Hands of Peace, and also an observational soldier... ? No evidence of rape there? Likely to have been murdering Palestinian children if she hadn't been taken hostage?

SomeCatFromJapan · 08/01/2024 21:25

A surveillance soldier is still capable of killing and will have been trained and equipped, whether they were off duty or not, they were on their base and are military personnel.

By that logic, Lee Rigby was killed in combat, not brutally murdered.
How offensive does that sound?

Apart from anything else - you are wrong. You can't just decide international law isn't what it is because it doesn't suit your set of beliefs.

Well as long as they were conscripted into the military, that makes it okay to fucking rape them.

Trulywonderful · 08/01/2024 21:30

Apparently the UN experts agree there is evidence of rape both on 7th October and in captivity

Plus the hostages released already including some of the children said they witnessed sexual assaults and rapes!

Seriously the apologists for Hamas are just to much sometimes. It does not help their cause and is just rather sick really

They also could object due to conscience, mental health and several other options to serve the state.

Maybe if more kids did this, conscription would be consigned to the bin where it belongs.

Trulywonderful · 08/01/2024 21:31

"The growing body of evidence about reported sexual violence is particularly harrowing," two UN-appointed independent experts on torture and executions - Alice Jill Edwards and Morris Tidball-Binz - said in a statement today.

The statement referred to allegations of sexual torture, including rape and gang rape as well as mutilations and gunshots to genital areas.

"These acts constitute gross violations of international law, amounting to war crimes which, given the number of victims and the extensive premeditation and planning of the attacks, may also qualify as crimes against humanity," the experts said.

"Each and every victim deserves to be recognized, regardless of their ethnicity, religion, or sex, and our role is to be their voice," they added. (Reuters)

And then Israel would have no army and Hamas could do whatever it wants?

"We know the girls held in Gaza who were raped and might be pregnant, that’s our last chance for them to get abortions, before it’s too late.
