Doesn't really surprise me after the way they acted towards the Ukraine. Plus those old Soviet Union flags on the Stop the War marches about the Ukraine/ Russian conflict. Goodness these people are into there own style of fuckwittery.

Russia have been very busy doing all sorts of horrible things since everyone got distracted. They are not the only ones though that have been using the media attention on Gaza to get away with stuff. Unfortunately not everyone out there is paying attention to anything apart from Gaza

Daughter of an old Union leader here, so a pretty left voting family. These people make me physically feel ill. You can literally sense them even on mumsnet when they post. It is like the bile and twisted logic just seeps out of their posts.

This is why the Wests reaction to Israel is so dangerous. They have given the greenlight for mass slaughter of civilians. They have given the green light for the systematic dismantling of healthcare systems. They have given the green light for famine to be used as a tool of war. They have given the green light to the killing of aid workers, healthcare workers, journalists, all of which used to have protection. Israel and the certain countries in the West like the UK, US and Germany have all made the world a less safe place to be. Shame on them all.

Well other posters were the ones who started talking about Ukraine and Russia. Is there a reason you aren't questioning them too? My post was relevant to them. Western countries don't have a leg to stand on questioning Russia because everything they can do Israel will have already done in the past 2.5 months with the support of Western countries. Showing concern for Israels actions is showing concern for not just this conflict but others, let war crimes pass unquestionably and we are all fucked.

Now you see that last article I could accept as largely factual but one sided of course. It wouldn't bother me in that way.

However the language like "That sickening lie" just makes you remember this isn't about reporting the facts but telling the readers what they want to hear etc.

It is also towards the end an obviously a recruitment drive for the Sunday protests.

They should really just have stuck to the facts in the article to give themselves more credibility. Seriously no need to do more than that with this particular story.

See this is the thing - as soon as the they ramp up the rhetoric with a few side-helpings of "resistance group" it just makes a mockery of their reporting of factual points, which as you say, are completely valid.

Do you also think that the October 7th massacre was a "daring attack" launched by the resistance? That they had every right to rape and kill all tho civilians? That the state of Israel should be dismantled by force if necessary?
