@XRAYTHIS it’s hard to know clearly because Hamas have declared some hostages dead (eg the Bibas children), but they said that about Chana Katzir, and it turned out to be a lie and then in the last set of negotiations, Hamas proposal was “initial release of Israelis would include women, children, the elderly, and ill hostages” - the only children are the Bibas children , so does that mean they are alive?

the deaths confirmed by the IDF are basically where there has been video footage evidence, either from combing through the footage from October 7th (ie evidence of unsurvivable injuries) or where Hamas has sent video footage. They’ve also released horrific ‘teaser’ propaganda videos with various hostages, asking whether we think they are alive or dead. They are clearly using psychological warfare, so nothing they are saying about the hostages is being trusted.

so maybe 80+ could still be alive? Hamas are also refusing to confirm who is alive or dead, I don’t think they’ve even provided a list of the names of who they are holding yet.

@EllaDisenchanted I watch her everyday. She is truly inspirational. I just hope they have treated Hersch well and his injuries which were so devastating.

Here is an article from the Guardian about him. He was a farmer, not even IDF. It is tragic. To think he was alive in January but now has been killed. His family’s grief must be unbearable because after January they’d have had hope of seeing him again.

In my prayers, my faith is not as strong as some but it's still a part of me.

That is heartless in the extreme of whoever did that.

If the perpetrator is Muslim, I hope they realise that they will be held accountable for this on the Last Day, and they will have no excuse and nowhere to hide. People can try to be anonymous in this life, but they cannot hide their deeds from Allah.

I can't say what I want to because I'm fasting and it would break my fast to express what I think of whoever did that.
