Shocked by the racist signs at marches

Maybe I’m just severely naive but I’m honestly just shocked at the levels of racism of some of the signs at these marches. It’s just caught me really, really off guard.

I think the headline is potentially inflammatory. He means it would be a Taliban state if Hamas remain. Obviously most people ( I think) would hope they would not remain.

I was in Bethnal Green last week and there were Palestinian flags on loads and loads of the public lamposts. Does anyone know why/if this is allowed? Can anyone just hang their flags on a lampost? Can I put an Israeli or English or Ukrainian flag on the lamposts on my road?

Not sure about UK but I live near the Russian embassy in Dublin and the local council have Ukrainian flags on every lamppost down the street and residents have Ukrainian flags in their gardens.

I think youd probably be ok with a Ulkrainian flag in London. You definitely wouldn’t be ok with an Israeli one .
An English flag - depends on the area. There are a lot of assumptions made about English flags unless it’s about football

I think we all know you’d be taking a risk with the Israeli flag in London in the current climate. People were even tearing down posters of child hostages- never mind an Israeli flag …
