Shocked by the racist signs at marches

Maybe I’m just severely naive but I’m honestly just shocked at the levels of racism of some of the signs at these marches. It’s just caught me really, really off guard.

Most of the UK and US stands with Israel. I am Christian and a supporter of democracy and the state of Israel. I was not on the march as I don't do marches but I respect the rights of all people to protest within the law.

Eddie Marsan was right - we only have to see the efforts by a few loud mouthed hatemongers on social media, Mumsnet included, though on here they do a better job than most of deleting the worst excesses

You'd think they'd learn from the constant deletions and I've always thought it better to report instead of giving them the oxygen of attention, but each to their own and all that

Where are the marches to condemn the rape of Israeli women and to demand the release of the hostages taken by Hamas?

There has been small vigils and events but apparently anything like that is seen by some people to support Israel. Stupid ignorant view and stants but there you have it. Look at some posters on the conflict board complaining about people talking about hostages or the rapes because they see it as properganda to detract from bombings in Gaza. Unfortunately you can't change the minds of idiots with like empathy for everyone in the conflict. If things don't support their narrative they reject the idea it happened /is happening or at least claim exaggerated and is properganda

However do you really think that some that encourage these calls and are shouting don't know what it means?

Personally I think there are plthat do understand what they are saying and seem very gleefully to be saying it and getting others to join in.

The UK we have a problem and it doesn't matter if you are Jewish. For the cause they will do similar to Hamas on the pogrom and even kill Christians and Muslims too.
