I’m tired of those of us arguing for people on both sides to post factually on a disinformation thread being painted as pro-Israeli. I’m not pro-Israeli. I think what is happening in Gaza is a shocking humanitarian disaster, but that doesn’t mean that people should post any old unverified shite from dubious X or Instagram accounts or from electric intifada about what awful monsters the Israelis are.

They need us to see. It's important for us to see. I know it's gruesome. No one wants to see it. No one wants it to be happening but unfortunately that's the reality. If we didn't see the things the Palestinians are posting we would be absolutely blind to the actual devastation that they are going through. And more than likely, everyone would believe what Israel are doing.

Everyone can sit here and discuss/argue or whatever you want to call it about what information is fact or fake but it doesn't change the fact that a LIVE GENOCIDE is happening and unfolding in front of our eyes and that Israel are the oppressors.

I'm not going to apologise or change my mind about whether I should have reported distressing images of injured children to MNHQ for removal. You can try shaming me, berating me, emotionally blackmailing me, I still think it was the right thing to do and I'm glad they took them down. So jog on.

I do hope some of the Israeli hostages taken on the 7th are returned - preferably alive - however I wouldn’t be surprised if that doesn’t happen .

Clearly it wasn't intentional and fine to be removed. But the links will show them and that is also fine. Like someone said you can choose what you want to see. But being wilfully ignorant is just as bad as being wilfully silent.

@Lobster7 not really. Israel is the only state entirely for Jewish people although funnily enough it allows Muslim citizens to live and worship relatively freely also.
On the other hand Muslims have a multitude of different countries offering an Islamic way of life to chose from. Some of those countries are not open to allowing other religions to practice openly, in fact some have seen huge discrimination and violence towards Christians and Buddhists.

What countries would these be?

The ones it has been trying to ethnic cleanse for the last 75 years? The ones it is currently cowardly bombing and killing by the thousands?
