Placards from antisemitic marches in London

I had written this as a response to the other thread which was closed as it was overrun by antisemitic d**ks. As I'm sure this one will be too. They can't allow us to share the truth of what is being said and done in our own home towns and cities.

Look at these images. No, they are not in the minority or unusual. Here are just a few of many, many overtly antisemitic placards from Saturday's protest in London. (And a bonus one from 2021, which the lovely John McDonnell also spoke at.)

This is MY HOME. I am Jewish. My family fled pogroms in Eastern Europe and Nazis in Germany. Those family members who didn't flee were murdered for being Jews. And here we fucking are again. In London. And people defending it.

This is NOTHING TO DO WITH ISRAEL. These are Jew-haters, the faces of hate, the faces of anger and mockery, openly calling for Jews, for me, my family, my children, my parents, to be murdered, in my home city.

And people are defending it. How the fuck do you think we feel?

Can't see pic

Seems the Met have deleted their tweet.

Has anyone else seen the statement by German Vice-Chancellor Robert Habeck?

Very powerful. It's good to hear that from a nation that understands

Sourcefor 100 arrests?
After the march?
I don't recall seeing that figure.

I can't remember my original source but I just Googled and found this article that says it.

I think it was probably the same interview I read but a different source. Anyway the head of the met police did an interview and said this as you will see from this link. I think he is a reliable source considering he is in charge of the arrests.

It say:
'Overall, Sir Mark said the Met has made "100 arrests in these events in recent weeks" but they are still appealing to identify a number of others.'

If I remember correctly. That one was a dark haired woman on the London march last weekend. She had a sign putting the Magen David in a bin. Something written about binning the rubbish or maybe it was cleaning the plant. Either way she is a racist fuckwit

I wish the same people who are posting the same links on thread after thread would share their views on the Hamas leadership, some of their recent pronouncements and the fact they are in luxurious safety in Qatar while hundreds of thousands of Palestinian children are going through Hell.

Some people are what we call sneaking regarders and that is a real thing.

DownNative · 03/11/2023 13:32

Anti-semitism isn't only evident within London marches either, @BlurredEdges.

The attachment is from the Bogside, Londonderry, Northern Ireland. I'm sure you won't be surprised to hear that's a Republican area. The city itself has been noted for Anti-semitism over the years.

You see a lot of questionable rhetoric from Provisional Sinn Féin members online as well.

Celtic's Green Brigade have a history of pro-IRA banners and so on. It's no surprise they're doing a similar thing with PIRAs friends in Hamas.

Celtic FC have not been robust enough over the years in dealing with this to the point where the Green Brigade act as if they own the club.

They've banned them for now, but it won't be long before they're back and continuing the same shameful behaviour.

@SomeCatFromJapan Thank you so much for posting that, powerful and actually very moving.

If only such clarity and reason were forthcoming everywhere.

SomeCatFromJapan · 03/11/2023 15:10

@Uricon2 my pleasure. I was really struck by that speech, both by the compassion for all innocent and the firmness and clarity of his message.

Stomacharmeleon · 03/11/2023 15:16

@SomeCatFromJapan it was very powerful and moved me to tears. Thanks for posting. Do you think we will get the same from the Ayatollah?

Edited as getting my terrorists mixed up!

I'm sure we can expect a nuanced and compassionate speech from the Ayatollah as always though.

I'm not sure what is more worrying, the fact that those placards were there or the fact that so many are completely ignorant of them being antisemitic.

I genuinely quite shocked at the lack of knowledge of posters here

All legal/allowed.

The Ayatollah said in his speech he salutes all the protesters around the world

If some people don't realise they are hate marches they should now. Else they really are the useful idiots after all. Talk about being on the wrong side of history. They could be marching for peace on both, calling out Hamas pogrom and asking for hostages to be realised. However they chose to go on hate marches instead.

The FA have told all clubs no flags anymore at football matches. It is all getting to political and causes trouble

The club told them to stop doing flags etc because the club could get find or games suspended

However they are idiots have caused their own team and club to get punished by the FA

Plus the the use of the flag to represent Gazens is actually really off. Arafat and gang of haters invented the flag in the 60s along with telling the Arabs to call themselves Palestinians. Up until the Arabs on the land called themselves Egyptians, Syrians, Jordanians etc depending on where their family had come from or if indigenous which state they felt alliances with. The flag was invented to further what the surrounding countries call the Arab cause. The cause being as they said then the dismantling of Israel and the removal of Jews from the land.

Stomacharmeleon · 03/11/2023 16:33

I am a Tottenham fan and my brother is a season ticket holder. So far I have seen two flags (at the Fulham game)
We have been asked not too.... all football fans and a vast majority have stuck to it. Except the Celtic fans.

backtowinter · 03/11/2023 16:59

@Trulywonderful I think if I was being saluted by the ayatollah I might question some of my choices in life

The Celtic game was so weird- literally supporting Hamas because of your football team🤔. I did wonder how many of the crowd waving their Palestine flags would be able to locate Palestine on a map. Or know anything whatsoever about the history of the region.

25milesfromhome · 03/11/2023 18:39

Not a London march, at a demonstration outside NYU library. (And yes, I did check the location first @Efacsen, no fake news here!)

No, Celtic told the Green Brigade "fans" to not bring ANY flags and banners to the stadium. They ignored the club anyway and so they're banned for now.

They've form for ignoring the club, setting off pyrotechnics, being violent towards stewards, bringing pro-IRA crap to games and just hours after Hamas murdered 1,000 + in Israel brought in Palestinian flags which suggests the Green Brigade are sneaking regarders of Hamas too.

Indeed, they brought in a "Victory to the resistance!" banner. Clear statement of backing Hamas who they view as "resistance fighters" in the way they laughably do with PIRA.

The flag of the terrorist group PFLP can be seen too.

UEFA have fined Celtic FC in the past for these kinds of inflammatory fan behaviours. They'll be fined again. Green Brigade will only take notice if the SFA dock points from Celtic FC, unfortunately. The club can easily pay fines, but title winning points can't be bought.
