That’s right be ashamed of yourselves. I come in these threads thinking I’ll read someone saying what’s happening to the people of Palestine is awful but what I end up reading is people saying they brought it on themselves because they elected Hamas.

So, what if they elected Hamas. We elected the Conservative party but they don’t speak for me, they certainly don’t act on behalf of the everyday citizen of this country. Be ashamed of yourselves for not valuing the lives of Palestinians but putting so much value on the lives of Israelis.

Are they not hostages? Yea, Israel asked asked the Palestinians to move to the south with 24 hours notice for their ‘safety’ yet they are being killed in the south.

I also condemn the barbarian acts of genocide committed by Israel. I condemn the open displays of hate for Palestinian people - calling them human animals etc.

Be ashamed if you think it’s so great they are letting a trickle of aid in but no fuel to run hospitals. Electricity ran out last night in the hospital. So many babies reliant in incubators will die as a result. be ashamed if you think it’s okay for world leaders to not call for a ceasefire and instead show 100% support to what Israel

Hamas clearly represent more Palestinians than you think. They're not quite as separate entities as you're all pretending. Hamas and their supporters (again, more people than you're clearly willing to believe based on the street parties and the amount of "opportunistic civilians" who elected to join in the massacre and kidnappings) want to eliminate Israel.

Rockets are still being fired from Gaza on a daily basis. The only reason more Israelis aren't dying is because of the Iron Dome and because of the bomb shelters they have in most buildings.

Realistically this isn't going to happen is it? I mean Israel have had them caged up and have had them caged up for for almost 2 decades. In those years far, far, far more Palestinians have died. Does this mean all Israelis should all be caged up? They are a threat to Palestinians existence, far more of a threat it would seem. Let's bomb Israel to the ground, clearly there are a lot of dangerous people there. Let's destroy their schools, their hospitals, their medical centres, their places of worship, their infrastructure, half of their homes, kill their journalists, kill their medics.

thank you for your superior knowledge about me. We’ve never met yet you know me so well. I just love righteous indignation. Chastising people anonymously is like my most favourite past time. I don’t know what I would do if I couldn’t seek out content about children getting blown up to be outraged about. I think Israel’s psycho killing spree came at the right time so I could tell people off for not being as outraged as me.

@Gruntsandgroans that is exactly what will happen if Israel stops as it's the stated aim of Hamas and various other groups in the region. They don't want peace, they want the destruction of Israel. Hamas have been working towards this stated aim since the day they were formed. They've only not been successful because Israel is better at defending themselves than Hamas are at killing Israelis. If someone was on a regular basis attempting to murder you, would you just sit and wait for them to eventually be successful?

If you don't want there to be a state of Israel than just say so. Plenty of people across these threads already have, you'd be in good company.

Yes, some Israelis do hate Palestinians and possibly don't see them as animals. I don't think it's a "significant portion" as you claim though, I think it's a very small minority. But I also know that plenty of Palestinians feel the same way about Israelis and Jews so not sure you're making a particularly good point? So we've established that people hate each other. What a surprise!

Why do you think the war of independence started? Do you think it was just for fun or do you think it was because the surrounding Arab nations were intending on taking all the land for themselves? In which case Palestinians would now be Jordanian or Egyptian, and there would have been no Israel.

How many people died in the PIJ rocket attack on the hospital in Gaza? Are we still saying 500-800? If so, that could very easily have been 500-800 Israelis. Would that have been preferable? There have been several thousand rockets fired from Gaza. The last confirmed figures I saw a few days ago was 7000 but there have been loads more since then, some say 12000 but I haven't seen anyone verify that yet. This is in less than 3 weeks. So we're saying 500 deaths per rocket, are we? You know what, let's say 500 was a complete fabrication. Let's say it was actually 50 people who died in the hospital car park. So 50x7000 = 350000. That's the amount of Israelis they could've killed this month if it weren't for the Iron Dome and the bomb shelters.

Also, your last sentence was incredibly uncalled for. It's pathetic. My family is also Arab 🤦🏻‍♀️ We're Middle Eastern. Forcibly removed 50 years ago after living there forever. We culturally have a lot more in common with Arabs than we do with Ashkenazi Jews, because we are Arabs. We are Arabs and we're proud of it.

Just seen on Sky - The WHO has shared that there are estimates of 1,000 unidentified bodies that are still buried under the rubble in Gaza.

That could be a very cautious estimate.
With whole families being wiped out people won’t necessarily know how many were taking refuge in any one building.
When the Al Jazeera reporters family were bombed he knew there were 8 missing and probably under the rubble. But he was still alive, so knew.

I think it was at just over 5,000 when I started this thread and still no calls for a ceasefire from our ‘leaders,’ or an end to this ‘right’ that Israel has to defend itself. One of the victims in these numbers is a 10 day old baby. I think Israel were scared she might spit up milk on them so just had to kill her in the name of self defence.
