wow pixie good on you for trying so soon after twins, take my hat off to you!

Wombat33 · 26/07/2010 16:42

Wow pixie - that is stamina!!

Sorry about the POAS Rosie and good luck to those on the 2ww. Chocolate all round I think!

It's day 7 in the Wombat house and TTC starts here. Too early for any real SWI but have thrown away the contraception for the first time ever, so it all suddenly feels very real!

pixie, my dd is 18 and she is just the same she was quite at lunchtime too.

Feel a bit better after some choccy

ravenlocks · 26/07/2010 19:28

tamashii the way I believe it works (first time on a bus this month) is that if you concieved in this cycle and would have an estimated due date in April, then you are on the April bus. Us bus passengers are a very orderly bunch and we sit in CD order, so if you were on CD1 (and still would be due in April) then you would be right at the back, and if you were really close to AF and on CD28+ you would be right at the front.

As you progress in your cycle you move up the bus...

rosieroseanna · 26/07/2010 20:57

Congratulations everyone that's conceived! I'm still doing my opk's and on cycle day 13 today and not had a smiley face yet but had one on cd 13 last month. Done quite a bit of SWI but slightly fed up with it now, not doing it because I really want to more because we need to and think dh is fed up too and finding it harder. Do you think we should SWI tonight or leave it till I get a smiley face? SWI yesterday.

Morning ladies, well still a BFN for me, and no symptoms either, i would usually be getting sore boobs or something so i think its all over for me this month - just really really need AF to come along now so i can get started on the the next cycle, this is a day longer than my longest ever cycle (making this my longest ever cycle, i really hope it goes back to 29 days in the coming months as this seems to take sooooo long!

Mylittlebubble · 27/07/2010 08:24

Morning Ladies.
Well I think my body waited for me to get back to DH before Ov'ing. I say think I only ne day of EWCM so not sure!! Anyway we made the most of it. Now I am feeling every twinge and thinking 'oh that could be it'!

Congrats to everyone on the grads list

Ladies any news? Has anyone seen these girls else where?

Tamashii · 27/07/2010 08:41

Morning.... I just can't keep away from this thread! Finally got OPK+ so SWI.... Didn't let DH know that it was WI as he was saying the other day how it is starting to feel like "in-out, in-out, we're making-a-baby, making-a-baby..." which doesn't really make him feel particularily up for it.

Anyway, it nearly didn't happen and I reckon he was a bit suspicious about it all... I just blamed the full moon for my randy goatedness.

Not really that excited about things this time since couple of months back I had agony boobs, really huge which is completely unusual along with starting to get really nauseous then along came AF really early so that was that. Since OV day 22 this month, am not holding up much hope of implantation even if anything did happen since AF will probs come along and fck everything up anyway, u know?

Sorry - that was all just me me me!
Thinking of all those testing at the moment - hoping for more BFP's [fingers crossed emoticon]

Morning all.
No sore boobs here, I'm afraid, but have had stomach cramps since yesterday afternoon, which could of course be PMT, but I don't usually get them till the MT is no longer P.

Took every last bit of my willpower not to test this morning even though really don't think it's my month. Only thing that held me back is that it's dd's 2nd birthday today and didn't want to be a miserable cow all day after BFN (even though of course she's got no idea what a birthday is, let alone that it's hers).

At least am working from home today so if AF does turn up I'll be able to wail till my heart's content.

saffronbun · 27/07/2010 10:09

rosieroseanna it does take the fun out of it doesn't it? I'd give DH the day off, he will appreciate you more for it ;)

Day 19 in the Bun house. No symptoms whatsover. Mind you, I didn't get symptoms last time until about 5 minutes before AF was due. I am not buying any tests unless AF actually fails to arrive on time. I shall resist the temptation!

Well done zinnia for not succumbing

Tamashii · 27/07/2010 10:12

How annoying is it that early PG symptoms (if any) seem to be exactly like PMT. Really sore rock hard boobs with the blue veins on show are the main symptoms I have heard of in RL from a couple of women I know but most had no symptoms.

It is impossible not to interpret every little twinge as PG symptoms isn't it?

8rubberduckies · 27/07/2010 10:26

Hi all, well, I am off the bus, AF arrived yesterday. A little earlier than I thought but no surprise really this month!

Congratulations to all graduates and I will be keeping an eye on the thread to see who else graduates this month... what a lovely bus! May bus will have to be a luxury tourer number to beat this one.

Just wondering ladies, some of you have said you know which day you ovulated, apart from the sticks saying 36 hours before how do you know which day it actually happened? I'm on cd14 now and still no positive on the OPK although I had one on cd13 last month! How does everyone else 'just get pregnant when they weren't even trying?'

zinnia · 27/07/2010 11:36

It happened for me with dd, due to SWI once, when did have a vague idea I was mid-cycle. Then when did the various due date predictors they all said "you conceived on.." that exact date, which makes me think I must ov mid-month.
Scientific, huh?

Needless to say (as you may have gathered by the amount of time I've spent on here complaining) that hasn't happened this time. Although this is the first cycle since started trying again that have managed to SWI on the 'right' day/days, so am clinging on to last vestiges of hope despite all (bodily) signs to the contrary.

Also I do get ov pains most months, so that helps (even though I don't know whether they're preliminary or actual).

Sorry to witter on, am trying to distract myself from going upstairs and poas (the downside of working from home today)
