congrats to unimummy and matumble on the positive tests. Woo hoo!

So, my first ever experience of ebay cheapy OPKs was ok, I think. Except I think I 'missed' the +ve - duuuhhhh. Here is what happened...

CD10 - negative (test line invisible)
CD11 - negative (test line v faint, almost invisible)
CD12 - negative (test line v faint)
CD13 - read at the time to be negative, strong line but I thought not quite strong enough but v close
CD14 - read this to be positive, was pretty similar to CD13 but a tiny slither of one edge of the line I thought was darker than the control line
CD15 - negative (strong line, but thought weaker than CD13)
CD 16 - negative (test line v faint)

So with hindsight, I think I surged on CD13 as this was when I saw a dramatic increase in the line. Didn't actually SWI until late at night on CD14 so hope I caught it.

Thought I would say all that in case it helped anyone else....

ravenlocks · 25/07/2010 19:33

Thought I would update the bus for those that got off to catch the May bus, or just got off. Hope I am doing this right, feel free to undo me if not... and give me a little slap.

LOL loopy it's a very busy bus indeed, infact i forget what i have posted or if i have just thought things up in my head! oh the madness of the 2ww!

Tamashii · 26/07/2010 09:06

Ok... How does the back of the bus v front of the bus thing work?

I am assuming since I am only on CD22 that I am middle of the bus just now? Wasn't sure following my ramblings on holding onto the bumper. I guess I will be doing that towards CD34 if AF doesn't come early???

Anyway, looking forwards to hearing about more TWP and BFPs

zinnia · 26/07/2010 09:09

Morning ladies.

Congrats to Unimummy on the BFP, the roster (rosta?) of graduates is getting longer!

Am on tenterhooks today and tomorrow as if AF shows up it should be in the next 36 hrs. Was away Sat night which helped stop me poas yesterday am, and this morning was obliterated by dd refusing to settle after 4.30 feel like I've been smashed over the head with a mallet and didn't even have a glass of wine last night!

Did see my ante-natal group for a 2nd birthday picnic yesterday and all the talk was of who has had/will have/isn't having the next one. Hey ho.

delilahbelle · 26/07/2010 09:39

Morning all

Just waiting for AF now - all boob soreness gone, and I am having v mild hot flushes (does anyone else get these around AF or is it just me? - my GP reassured me it's normal...)

Think my cycle will be a bit longer than normal this month, but it is the first month after the MC, so not suprising really. Next month I think I may be a bit more laid back with trying - I have rather done DHs head in this month

Good luck to all those waiting to test, I hope the 2ww goes quickly for you.

Lib76 · 26/07/2010 09:54

fingers crossed for you delilah, don't give up hope! Yeh i also get hot flushes when AF due, mainly at night though.

I am driving myself crazy with 2ww symptoms here! cd 28, had slight headache yesterday ans today and got mild back pain. someone sit my down with a cuppa and give me good shake and tell me to concentrate on work and stop obsessing over 2ww symptoms....Argh

rosieposey · 26/07/2010 10:04

Ohhhh-kay, i poas this morning and very close to the end of the 10 mins when the test strip background was completely white i saw a faint shadow of a line ... its still there three hours later, DH can see it but having had a false positive before from internet cheapies (although these arent the strips type of cheapies they are plastic encased tests) im still witholding judgement and am a bit afraid to get excited. Am holding wee for 5 hours this morning without a drink then going to get a First Response at lunchtime - thats the acid test for me, if i can see a very faint positive on the first response then i will be happy - only got positive opk last Saturday though so am only 9DPO so still a few days to go before AF is due if you count two weeks from Ovulation ... ahhhhh the suspense is killing me!!!

Tamashii, if i am pg from this cycle i too oved on day 23 same as you so dont worry and get SWI'ing - like i said i need to contain my excitement, this has happened before and it was a very convincing evap line and i was soooo disappointed but matumble has had a few postives since her TWP so that gives me hope - Will update afer lunch

Lib76 · 26/07/2010 10:21

rosie that's sounding hopefull, lets hope your concentrated wee does the trick good luck for lunch time!

zinnia · 26/07/2010 10:59

good luck rosie - let us know this afternoon what the FR thinks!

My (rhetorical) question of the day is:

I feel like sh**e. Is this:
a) PMT;
b) morning sickness; or
c) sleep deprivation?

I'm pretty sure it's a) + c) but just want to get the suspense over with now!

caramellokoalalover · 26/07/2010 11:24

rosieposey · 26/07/2010 12:15

Ah rubbish! I think it was a false alarm, looking at the line from this morning it does look a bit greyish which is typical evaporation line. FR says no as do the internet cheapy i took alongside it, i held on for 5 hours since 7 this morning which is as long as i would have last night too because i got up for a wee during the night and its resolutely negative, shite!

Well off to do some cooking and lick my wounds, i dont feel pg and no symptoms so feel just a teeny tiny bit gutted.

zinnia · 26/07/2010 12:20

oh boo, rosie, poor you! Here, have some chocolate and a consolatory hug.

delilahbelle · 26/07/2010 12:22

Ah rosie, we've all been there. Lots of chocolate is my recommendation... TTC is a pain in the backside at times.
