OH popped to the shop for me, it's like being 16 again, getting someone older to buy your boozen

Thought days of being ID'd were behind me, I am 12 years over the legal age now. Was doing a full weekly shop too, with just the one bottle of wine. I've got a glass in my hand now so I can laugh now! Less embarassing than getting ID'd when buying an 18 film on DVD which happened about a year ago.

You'd think if I look this young I should be able to conceive by just holding hands with a boy, it seems to be that easy when you're under 18!

I got ID'd in the co-op a couple of weeks ago and had to restrain myself from leaping over the counter and kissing the checkout guy on the cheek (I'm 31)

loopy that's the way to do it - then you don't need self-control not to POAS

matumble - any updates?

Lib76 keeping fingers crossed for you.

I'm CD9 today so about to get started in earnest on the SWI-ing. Poor DH, I think he's more desperate for a BFP than I am so that we can go back to good old SFF

matumble · 24/07/2010 20:20

i handed a bottle of wine back with a huge grin about a year ago having just given birth to dd3, i was so pleased someone, anyone thought i was under 18!

as for the bfp/bfn situation i have 5 cheap ones left and have resisted buying anything more, still think what i had was a positive and i guess whatever happens happens now, once the cheap ones are gone i may go and buy a FR or whatever.

enjoy your weekend away loopy

rosieposey · 24/07/2010 21:28

takingtheplunge good luck with your summer of SFF - feel very as this SWI'ing is getting tiresome.

Nothing exciting here today, went out with DH for some lovely Thai but absolutely knackered now so an early night for me i think.

Matumble Good for you resisting buying more HPT's it can end up getting costly anyway. Good luck for your next lot of testing - you know what you and DH saw and a line is after all a line, im sure it will be alot stronger within the next couple of days or so.

Its been a shitload of time since i was ID'ed lol - DD1 is 18 in 22 days (as she keeps reminding me) so it will be fun watching her get her driving licence out to buy booze as she only looks about 15 bless her. All you lucky ladies on here getting ID'ed make the most of it

Karstan · 24/07/2010 21:54

Note to self for future reference

Underage and Pregnant is not a good program to watch whilst TTC'ing

rosieroseanna · 24/07/2010 22:14

Karstan - lol, I get annoyed watching 16 and pregnant on MTV too!

matumble · 25/07/2010 08:25

well 2 more faint (but passed the DH test) TWP one from a pound shop pack i bought yesterday, different size, brand etc so feeling more confident. I have them lined up on the desk and keep looking to see if i am imagining it!

Morning everyone!

Had a TWP this morning on an ebay test! Will do a proper boots one this afternoon and fx I can go on graduates list then. Cried with happiness ,and then gave myself a shake about getting my hopes up when it's so thin and quite light. It's definitely there though, has got darker now.

And bloody DP is away playing football in Wales till the early hours! Argh!

matumble · 25/07/2010 08:39

congratulations unimummy, looking forward to seeing you on the list, hoping for lots more graduates this time.

thank you all for keeping me sane this last couple of weeks

UniMummy · 25/07/2010 08:42

Thanks matumble, congratulationns on more positives to you! Trying to hold my horses till the boots one. Yeah... right!

Karstan · 25/07/2010 08:56

If anyone's doing the list again i seem to have been stuck on CD2 since Friday - it's going to be a long month!

Tamashii · 25/07/2010 11:40

Congrats UniMummy
matumble u should so take a photo of all ur lined up BFP's!!! Is it a whole desktop full?

Am on CD22 now and no OPK + so siiiiigh...

Still staying on the bus until AF shows up tho just in case... Feel kinda like a stunt double from one of those old Westerns wherer the horses are dragging him off through the dust now... Hangin on the bumper choking on the exhaust fumes but still not giving up (yet)

Good luck to everyone else

ljg72 · 25/07/2010 11:52

Yeah me too Karstan...I'm on day 4 now, but it also says I'm on day 2.

Would have a go at re-doing, but don't want to mess it up...especially with it changing so rapidly!!! Congrats on all the BFP

rosieposey · 25/07/2010 14:37

Congrats on the extra bfps matumble that's great news. Congrats to you to unimummy - all these bfps in such a short space of time, it's looking like a lucky thread!

Spent all day tidying and cleaning so far as have friends over tomorrow for a few days,

Tamashi - hope you had an ovulation this month anyway - some people still get a bfp even when they haven't seen a positive opk, fingers crossed for you.

Lib76 · 25/07/2010 15:07

congrat unimummy another bfp...horray! i am still hopefull i will get bfp tiny bit of spotting today but not much at all. Was so convinced last night at AF was coming early but no show yet, boobs getting a bit tingly too

PrincessBoo · 25/07/2010 15:10

I'm on the back of the next bus now then guys - as I suspected RTD arrived this morning (and very early, I think I maye messed up my dates last month though) but at least I am back to being nice to everybody again!

Will definitely make more of an effort this month...

PrincessBoo · 25/07/2010 16:53

Do I just pop myself at the bottom of the list now then? Sorry, it was my first month of trying so I'm not sure what the score is with the old bus scenario.

UniMummy · 25/07/2010 16:55

Thanks everyone, 4 BFP's later and I think I believe it now. Now just to keep my mouth shut till 12 weeks

Tamashi for what it's worth I didn't get anything show up on ov' sticks this month.

Good luck to the rest of you, I think this bus is lucky and will be full of BFP!

Saladbomb · 25/07/2010 17:43

Boo, there is a May bus thread out there. Just pop yourself on there, prob see you there in about a weeks time.

Bicnod · 25/07/2010 18:02

Evening ladies - here's Sunday's list... Not time to catch up proper will try later. FAb news on BFP unimummy and yay for more lines matumble

Hi ladies, congrats to all the BFPs (and TWP!) pleased we're getting graduates. Only CD10 here so not much going on - it's so boring waiting to lay an egg! Got about another week to go before I ov so better throw DH some SFF on the pretense I just want him for his body not his sperm... !

Rockbird · 25/07/2010 18:17

Hi everyone

Congrats to all the bfps Good luck to everyone testing soon.

I'm still waiting at the bus stop, on what would have been the 2ww if we had done any SWI...or indeed any S so I've got about another three weeks before I have to start getting busy. Just as well really, I'm knackered!

Hey all, back from my holiday.

It's great to see some grads, big congratulations to Kirsty stuffed and matumble

As for me.. spent the weekend having only one drink a night, but today I feel the approach of AF. i know my body too well, I am not having any of the same symptoms as I did when I was pregnant.

It's 12dpo for me, so she should be here Wednesday morning. Boobs not sore, got the grumpiness... ah well. Will hang out here until she shows up, then go jump on the May bus!
