Why do our bodies do it to us?! Ah, that gives me some hope too. Do you know why it did it? It has made me realise just how lucky I was with ds, I wanted a baby and ta da I was pregnant! I often feel like a period is on its way but nothing ever comes.. not even spotting.

matumble · 23/07/2010 12:29

glad i have helped a couple of you, i would imagine if you have it you have always had it wanting but like i say i fell easily with dc 3 and this time too, eek keep looking at the test, dh says he thinks it is a positive

of course im an idiot and did poas again and of course there was nothing there but its the middle of the day and something that faint this morning would only leave me with nothing at lunchtime surely. i just want a nice think line or af, something i can hold onto and say well yes or no for definite

Thank you so much LadyGoneGaga. Fantastic link, will mention it on monday. I understand now!! I do feel pretty shattered and a bit spaced out sometimes, but def a lot better than I was at 8 a few weeks ago. Hopefully it won't effect ttc!

WantingBabyNo2 · 23/07/2010 12:52

Ooh how exciting for you matumble, a line surely is a line regardless of how faint it is? Keep us updated!

LadyGoneGaga · 23/07/2010 12:53

No worries UniMummy. The brain fog is classic hypo. When I get that I get me to the doc's for a blood test. The prob is that when I was first pregnant I felt same - so will mess up your ss even more!

matumble · 23/07/2010 12:58

ebay cheapies loopy, its taking all my willpower not to frog-march DH into town and demand a variety of expensive tests!

i have 5 tests left so hopefully by Wednesday it will be a bfp rather than a faint maybe! i'm kind of clinging to the fact that DH is usually very sceptical but he thinks its a positive and he saw the line easily without me poking etc so i guess it cant be my mind playing tricks!

thanks for putting up with all my confusion this bus, i realise i have been up and down the whole way through, thanks

Prinpo · 23/07/2010 12:58

matumble, a cautious congratulations. We'll wait to hear more before we jump up and down but it all sounds good.

Well, once again I must pack my bags and shuffle off to the next bus. It's a good job I've got one of them there saver tickets as this is proving to be a long journey. I'm definitely going to bite the bullet and visit my GP as a previous scan showed ovarian cysts and my thyroid was a bit low after my last mc (but a later test indicated it was ok). Just feel as though I need a bit of an MOT, or perhaps a major service and some new bodywork.

Best of luck to everyone still to test.

matumble · 23/07/2010 13:07

oh prinpo im sorry, good luck with the may bus, i hope you get some answers, we have been through investigations in the past and i know how it feels to keep trying and trying, dd1 took 2 years to concieve. i really hope you get some answers soon.

lateatwork · 23/07/2010 13:54

afternoon all... I am taking myself off this bus officially and have joined the may bus...

Bye Bye May departures, hope there is as many sweeties, chocolates, Pimms and cake on the next one

matumble · 23/07/2010 14:45

sorry late, good luck with may

stuffedmk · 23/07/2010 15:08

OK Ladies, don't judge me....I poas again (twice ) I decided my morning wee was definitely too weak and a better sample was required.
My name is stuffed and I am a peestickaholic
I only did 2 more because I decided I didn't completely trust my ebay cheapies on their own so went and got a superdrug test aswell....Obsessed? me?

Anyway, to cut to the chase....I got 2 TWP the superdrug one to be honest is just about dark enough to feel confident in (and both in the time limit) So I am

Just gotta hope it sticks now, somehow I suspect the next 2 months will be horribly nervewracking but I will be keeping everything crossed.

matumble · 23/07/2010 15:14

congratulations stuffed, were your ebay ones still bfn? you know you arent helping my urge to throw dh out with orders not to come home without a variety of tests!

stuffedmk · 23/07/2010 15:15

Thought I'd go ahead and be brave

KirstyJC · 23/07/2010 15:16

Hello again! Thanks for the congrats ladies, I did POAS again today as DH said he couldn't see the line (what? It was clear as anything?!?!) and it was so thick and dark even he had to concede that I must be up the duff!! Now I just need to stop grinning insanely at work - I am usually a right grumble-guts so it must look really suspicious!!

Congrats to Stuffed as well!

Now, time to start obsessing over names.......

stuffedmk · 23/07/2010 15:17

The ebay ones show a slight shadowy line but really, really light. The superdrug one is defo a line (not dark but def there) They aren't too expensive either
At least I can use the ebay one to watch the line get darker for a few days (hopefully)

8rubberduckies · 23/07/2010 15:20

Congrats stuffed! Let the BFP glut commence! According to Fertility Friend I've got to wait until 4th August to POAS and even though I'm not confident this month, really don't think I'll be able to hold out much longer than 14dpo... only a week to go!!!!

matumble · 23/07/2010 15:27

glad you got an even stronger bfp kirsty, good luck with the names, worryingly we already have one, our dd3 left hospital unnamed this one was named before conception!

stuffed you are a bad influence. im going to town tomorrow so will probably give in then!dh is doing a bbq at the moment if i sent him now i would have to take over and it smells really bad to me, im hiding in the house, this could be a long summer! im really tempted to join you in your bravery, have already nipped into the april ante natal club and said hi

stuffedmk · 23/07/2010 15:30

me too lol
I think I am trying to fool myself into having confidence when in reality I am bricking it already.

zinnia · 23/07/2010 15:37

Wooo stuffed! that's fantastic, congratulations. So happy we have two (maybe three?) graduates now.

Bye Prinpo and lateatwork . See you on there in a few days.

8rubberduckies I don't care what anyone says, if I do make it to 14dpo/CD28 (are they the same? who knows?) without AF putting in an appearance I am poa sodding s at 7.00am sharp!

rosieposey · 23/07/2010 16:28

Ahh today is a good day for BFP's - congats ladies I have some internet cheapies to pee on next week but now im thinking that maybe some more expensive ones might be in order ...

Good luck to the ladies who have joined the May bus - will probably be me by the end of next week too.

8rubberduckies · 23/07/2010 16:52

zinnia Fertility Friend is very strict, I can feel it scowling at me disapprovingly over the broadband connection if I do anything wrong. I am worried every time I enter my temperature a little late, or put on there that I drank last night, it is going to put me in detention and make me do lines.

8rubberduckies · 23/07/2010 16:54

I've just realised I can't post anything til I'm next in work on Tuesday, have a lovely weekend lovely ladies and I hope to see some more BFPs
