Thanks for that site bicnod. True POASaholic indeed, how funny that the graphics on the site are lots of yellow drips!! Learnt loads though, thanks and am going to POAS twice a day from today to start working it all out. Therefore may run out of sticks, leaving POAS Houses of Parliament unfinished!

Off to POAS!

Bicnod · 18/07/2010 12:29

stuffedmk - ok, you got me. Totally, completely and unutterably obsessed. Ah well, at least I'm in good company with you lot

matumble - Awww, that's hard. Still keeping fingers and toes crossed.

Prinpo - I'm right there with you. Feels like this is never going to happen

Karstan - I've never had tender boobs in the run up to AF. I didn't have tender boobs at all while pg with DS either.

Delilah - fingers and toes crossed for you as well.

Raven - that site is my bible

Right. I'm off to make banana bread. Need to cheer myself up and cake always helps.

delilahbelle · 18/07/2010 12:36

OMG I need a slap. 5dpo and I WANT to POAS, despite knowing there is no earthly way it can tell me if I am or not.
Doesn't help that DH has gone out on his mountain bike, leaving me at home with nothing to do except housework and obsess on the 2ww.

Bicnod I admire you making banana bread, wish I had the motivation to do some baking. So far today I have put some washing on, done a load of washing up, and spent far too much time on here...

Bicnod · 18/07/2010 12:41

Don't admire me too much Delilah I'm still here faffing around on other threads.

Do NOT POAS - it will be depressing. It will be BFN even if you ARE pg. Don't do it to yourself lovely.

Right, really am off to make banana bread now.

ljg72 · 18/07/2010 15:17

Back away from the Pee sticks Delilahbelle!!! otherwise you will end up feeling pants like me!

So far today I have wasted 2 POAS tests!! WTF?, starting to think it was a bad idea stocking up on cheapie E-bay ones

I am 10 dpo I think?? that is too early isn't it?...

matumble · 18/07/2010 15:33

yes ljg it is but i did one this morning so have no room to talk

Im feeling horrendously tired for the afternoon running and feeling so guilty at being a pretty rubbish mummy the last few days. Ive only ever felt like this in previous pregnancies even the one that unfortunately didn't last. Im starting to think i will feel even guiltier if af shows up as then i have no reason for all the stupid tricks my body is playing on me really mixed up today.

sorry all, getting the crazy out on here rather than offloading on dh, think id be less obsessed if it weren't for the sudden not ttc bit being in the way

delilahbelle · 18/07/2010 16:10

Hello - my name is Delilah and I am a pee stick addict...

Nope, I was strong and didn't do one today - maybe tomorrow.

TMI but I have a new symptoms - LOADS of creamy CM. A swift bit of googling leads me to think it's down to progesterone, but I don't normally have this much... but then even if I have been lucky this month implantation hasn't even happened yet, so it's not really a symptom at all.

I hate waiting.

ljg 10dpo is faaar to early. 9dpo average for implantation, then 2 days for HCG to be picked up... 11dpo is the earliest you can reasonably expect a positive. Try again on Tuesday...

matumble I think we all offload on here for the same reasons - to stop our RL family and friends packing us off with the men in white coats I hope you get a clear result soon.

busymum05 · 18/07/2010 16:13

Hi everyone, im a little confused.com today!!! WARNING WAY TMI I thought AF had turned up yesterday as had some bleeding, it was too much for spotting more like light start to AF there was also a tiny clot and the blood looked bright red!! So my first thought was it was maybe any remaining stuff coiming out at start of AF from MC in may,,only i put on a pad and that was it no more bleeding its been 24hrs and had nothing, any ideas as to what this is??
Im a bit frustrated as was hoping it was AF as it would of been first cycle since MC.
I dont think it was a sign of another MC as i only tested neg on thu.
Anyone got any advice please

lateatwork · 18/07/2010 16:13

Not this month for me... can feel AF creeping up on me already.. i just dont feel pregnant either which has always been a bit of a give away.. not even going to test- no point wasting good material for my poas project...

will still be watching the post.. but from the back of the bus...

good luck everyone else!

delilahbelle · 18/07/2010 16:19

hey busymum could it be implantation? I had a bit of bleeding at CD22 before my last chem preg. Really just redish spotting, only lasted a few hours...

lateatwork sorry to hear that, you better behave back there on the back seat

lateatwork · 18/07/2010 16:21

hi busymum05 i have had 3 MC- last one in Feb. Each different. I shouldnt imagine bright red blood is remains of MC from May.. if you had eprc you can go back to egu and get fu scan if you are worried- and to be honest i would do that anyway as better to put mind at rest... it could be break through bleeding? but i am just guessing..

Prinpo · 18/07/2010 16:40

busymum, I'd agree that bright red blood doesn't sound like remains of mc. I had one-off quite bright red bleeding just after I found out I was pregnant last year (a one wipe after going to the loo and then nothing more kind of thing). Turned out it was implantation bleeding, which I'd never had before. That said, I've also had periods that have started, come to a sudden halt, got me all excited and then they've started again with a vengeance. That only seems to have happened since I had my mcs. Sorry all if tmi .

I think that's a long way of saying, "Erm, don't know."

lateatwork, sorry to hear AF is on her way. Glad you're still on the bus. You get to sit with all the drinkers on the back seat! Out of interest, what stick project are you working on? Perhaps we could open our own miniature village as we seem to have a few of the major world landmarks covered already .

Here at Casa Prinpo, DH has just returned from brief supermarket shop. He'd been instructed to pick up choc for me (have been without for a few days and really couldn't face a Sunday evening without any).

He got dark chocolate.

No, your eyes are not deceiving you. He got dark chocolate.

We have been together for 17 years.

I have never liked dark chocolate.

WWYD?

Karstan · 18/07/2010 16:51

Prinpo Dark chocolate is what I keep in the house when I'm trying to be good. Can't be trusted around milk or white chocolate would just scoff the lot. I find one or two squares of dark chocolate satisfies the craving without making me want to eat the whole bar.

But silly of your dh to not know you didn't like it

lateatwork · 18/07/2010 17:04

prinpo drink me?! I am drinking champagne as i type... i agree re dark chocolate. what's the point if it isnt sweet?

off to research my stick project...

prinpo I'm with loopy - send him out to get something better.

I'm sat here scoffing banana bread. Tomorrow is the start of my no cake and no chocolate and no biscuits until next AF rule as I'm giving in to the sweet stuff a bit too much lately.

Karstan · 18/07/2010 18:06

Confession time!

I'd heard mention of the 2ww before I was tcc and always thought it was a bit pathetic - only a fortnight for goodness sake, that sort of thing. I'm sorry. Only now I understand And this is only my first 2ww.

Maybe it is pathetic, but if that is true, it's nice to join in and be pathetic with other nice people who are perhaps better at empathy than me

theteasonme · 18/07/2010 19:33

Hello ladies, can I join please? RTD got me on fri which would (v. roughly) give me a due date of 22nd April.

Hi all - a quick one as I'm off to work v soon...
6dpo and I have not POAS. I have found jumping out of bed and flushing away that FMU means I no longer have an excuse to test.
Symptoms - v slight sore boobs, much less than 2 days ago, and slight grumblings in the ovary/uterus area. Probably wind.

Have a good day, I'll be back tonight

ImpatientHove · 19/07/2010 09:00

Aaaaargh, have run out of opk sticks....think I must have ov'ed earlier but despite not being sure if I have even ov'd I am still desperate to POAS. I am officially losing the plot

RE sore boobs before AF; I never used to get sore boobs then I went through a phase for about a year where I would get sore boobs (the right more sore than the left ) every other cycle....now I get them sometimes but not regularly. So if anyone is wierd I think it's me

stuffedmk · 19/07/2010 09:50

Yuk, Monday morning. I've brought some rocky road and some chocolate tiffin to cheer us all up.

No other news to report, af due Friday and feel like it's def going to arrive. Disappointing but not unexpected. Someone hopefully will get lucky soon, wonder who'll have the first April baby?
