Loopy, yes, I thought I might have been pregnant so wasn't just testing as AF was late. This was a number of years ago, though, so it may be that tests have improved since then. Still, there do seem to be a number of instances on these boards of women testing neg on the day of their missed period and then getting a pos a few days later. I suppose some could be down to irregular cycles but even so I think some women just produce less of the pregnancy hormone in the early stages.

Well, Mr Prinpo has headed off for a few days so I'm looking forward to a few evenings of watching whatever I want and the house staying relatively tidy (I swear he makes more mess than the children). Settling in for the 2ww...

Hello all! I see some familiar names in here so I thought I would join in - fingers crossed it all goes to plan this month and then I reckon I'd be due on about my birthday next year - that'd be the best present ever!

Taking, sorry AF got you but glad you know what's what. There's nothing worse than the waiting around. Hope you're enjoying a nice glass of something cold.

Welcome, mylittlebubble, mama and saffron.

just spotting at the mo. so not CD1 yet really.

delilahbelle · 12/07/2010 21:52

Welcome all newbies, this is a lovely welcoming thread.

loopymumsy hope your evening went well.

taking hope you have a nice glass of wine or similar, there's still plenty of seats on the bus at the back

AFM - managed to DTD, DH took some convincing. Frankly am looking forward to next weekend, will be properly on the 2WW then and can avoid all bedroom related antics.

sillybillymummy · 12/07/2010 22:14

Hey Ladies..
I am getting lonely on the March Bus.. no one is speaking to me! Then i noticed on here.. some people are round abouts where i am..
SO maybe i should add myself to your bus, as you seem a bit more chatty! Well atm if you could just save me a seat?
as i will be getting off the March bus shortly i think, because i am on day 28 and testing negative
I recognise lots of the names, so here's hoping this is a really lucky bus for all of us x
Is there any pic& mix left?

Prinpo · 12/07/2010 23:40

silly, welcome to the bus - I do remember you from the March bus. I'm afraid there's only a couple of chocolate brazil nuts covered in pocket fluff left . I'll ask Ramon the masseur to pop out to the 24 hour garage. Any orders?

loopy and delilah, had a good giggle at your lack of enthusiasm, something that I completely empathise with. At least you've identified a positive about the 2ww - no need for SWI!

Well, I've had a lovely evening doing my nails and watching Mary Queen of Shops (what a fab woman she is). The house is immaculate, everything's set out for the morning and I'm off to bed. Poor old DH, he'd be very hurt if he suspected how much I enjoy my evenings to myself.

a few lovely newbies joined the bus in the last few days - hello .

taking sorry af caught up with you in the end but lucky for us you get to stay and keep us company on the bus. i'll be shuffling from the top of the bus to the bottom in a couple of days too so save me a seat on the lower deck.

AF due in 3ish days and only dtd once, a week before O, due to post-mc nerves, so not really expecting a bfp at all. and no symptoms even if i squint and hop on one leg.

delilah and loopy - hope you're both keeping up the momentum. am passing you a giant bag of haribo to scoff. that should give you an energy burst.

twowoulddo · 13/07/2010 09:47

Hi all, so sorry I disappeared!

Well I am on CD2 of what I am going to class as my first cycle of TTcing as we only started halfway through the last one.

On the plus side, my cycles have been 32 days long twice in a row now. This month I'm hoping to learn when I ovulate.

loopymumsy hope you managed to dtd quietly! Thanks for asking about me. It seems so vast here thought I would be a drop in the ocean .

matumble · 13/07/2010 11:39

I know I got off the bus but can i jump back on for a 2ww panic? at a guess im about 6dpo and we were definitely swi at the right time, i have had certain early symptoms in my other pregnancies which i seem to be getting now too and im seriously panicking that we could have fallen, if we have its brilliant its just horendous timing. so can i come and lurk at the back with my pregnacare and chocolates to see what happens?

takingtheplunge · 13/07/2010 17:02

finally started more conclusive spotting, so going to call this CD1.

Sorry to post and run, will try to pop back later.

delilahbelle · 13/07/2010 17:33

Welcome back matumble good luck and I hope things work out for the best.
I am only CD 15, possibly still OVing (still got EWCM/cramps today) and am managing to symptom spot as well. Mental.

taking Fingers crossed the next cycle is luckier for you.

Yet more SWI tonight - is it possible to have too much of a good thing? Plan is Bath, Beautify, Bra(slutty one) and other things begining with B to put DH in the mood

sillybillymummy · 13/07/2010 18:14

I tested negative again this morn, and feel like AF is going to show up any day soon..
so save my place - my stats are:

ttc #3 cycle 1 UCL 29 (and counting!) CD29

Can i order a multi pack of frys turkish delight (this is what i eat when i get AF!) i am turning into my mother.

Prinpo · 13/07/2010 19:56

Fry's Turkish Delight - mmm. Also, Fry's Chocolate Cream. Fry's - truly the chocolate choice of discerning ttc'ers.

delilah . He won't know what's hit him.

Do you think there's an alternate website where all our DPs are wondering why their partners get so frisky at certain times of the month? They may be on there right now, comparing notes about what they do that makes them so irresistible...

taking, AF is behaving like a spoilt toddler. She needs to sort herself out. silly, keeping everything crossed but there's plenty of room at the back should you need a seat.

sillybillymummy · 13/07/2010 20:21

i have finished the delights, on to the twix's!

My DH is on his computer right now, so thats made me laugh... ha ha ha

Loopy, you are queen of the stats. Thanks for keeping us all organised.

Suggested thread titles from aforementioned DPs' website:

'I must be smokin' hot!'

'I'm clearly pressing all the right buttons '

'I rarely shower but she wants me anyway'

You've reminded me of a joke someone made when I said that I was becoming a bit obsessive about ttc and worried that I was too anal about it. Their response, of course, was that that must be what we were doing wrong .
