along the lines of the midwife at the spd clinic who advised one lady to keep her legs shut to minimise the pain, of course lady responded if she had done that she wouldnt be there!

thanks for the welcome back, im just insanely symptom spotting and could do with some company! im taking a what will be will be aproach at the moment. i can cope with the pregnancy or the newborn bit loopy but i want him there for the birth, he is such a stabiliser for me, and has it down to a fine art now, the thought of doing it without him is scaring me

takingtheplunge · 14/07/2010 07:56

Hello all! Love the joke about being anal about it!

I am officially having the weirdest period in history. Still only spotting and -TMI alert- it's sort of brown/pink/rust coloured and only a little bit, hardly even need a pantliner. Have very slight cramps and lower back ache.

Wish it would just hurry up. I think sometimes "ooh maybe I'm actually pregnant and the spotting will stop" but I'm damned if I'm buying another 8 euro test cos I know really it's just a weird period and the only way to get cheapies is to order over the net and by the time they arrive I'll be sure to be having a proper period, so I keep waiting, sure it'll resolve itself and nothing happens. Grrrrrr.

matumble · 14/07/2010 08:20

could you order some cheapies anyway for next time but if spotting carries on with no real period test in a week maybe?have you ruled out implantation bleeding?

Prinpo · 14/07/2010 10:00

taking, I was just thinking the same. Why not order internet cheapies anyway, in preparation for next month? It does sound very weird.

delilah are you still finding new tricks to pull out of the bag for the SWI???? I bow to your wicked ways...and will be coming to see you for notes in a week or two. I'm a bit like you loopy in that have been trying to get a few SFF in around the SWI to keep suspicions down that I am only after him for his sperm [hmmm].

AF turned up yesterday, a few days early, which i was actually happy about as it meant no more wondering if i was in with a chance of a bfp. taking hope AF sorts itself out for you soon. the not knowing is torture and you can't even pass your time weeing on cheap sticks!

So i am taking a lovely cosy seat at the back of the bus waiting for AF to leave the building so the shagfest can begin . . bring on the April babies for all!

Hello everyone! Good to catch up with you all, I have read a mammoth 4 pages to do the actual catching up on my lunch-break, but have been laughing my head off and am very happy to be on such a lovely bus, even though it does have slightly sadistic undertones (I have a very clear mental image of women running in front of an open-top tourist bus looking distressed, with GIANT Maltesers bouncing off their heads).

I think I'm OVing ATM, so glad it wasn't at the weekend when I was moving house, but due to the stress of moving house we are hardly speaking, so the last thing I feel like doing is jumping DP. Oh, and he's shaved his beard off, I love his beard . Hmmmmm ... loving beards? Does that make me as in the alternative meaning of ?

Prinpo · 14/07/2010 13:19

rubber, lovely to see you again. I concur on beards. DH has one too, although I hasten to add it's little more than stubble (sounds very dates, doesn't it). I too hate it when he shaves it all off.

Take a leaf out of delilah's book, get yourself a slutty bra and tell him you need to christen the new place. You wait, before you know it he'll be on that DPs' website, posting about how his partner has suddenly developed a taste for angry sex .

caramel, sorry to hear about AF but, as you say, at least you weren't hanging around waiting. Onwards and upwards, as they say. Oh, and I'll have yours and Loopy's little ones. Mine are both at school and I miss having little people creating havoc during the day. Did I really just say that? God, I must be broody.

Prinpo · 14/07/2010 13:20

8rubberduckies · 14/07/2010 13:57

prinpo dp only grows a beard when on annual leave, he looks like his proper age when he has one and when he doesn't have one he looks about 10.

I willl try to take a leaf out of delilah's book, if I can find the bloody box marked "SLUTTY STUFF" in the hell-hole that is our house at the moment... it may be difficult to find, as I do not think I've seen it since before I was PG with DS1 .

My DP gets all sulky whenever I turn down his advances, I keep trying to explain to him that teenage sulking is just a little bit of a turn-off, so he's cutting his nose off to spite his face, but that just makes him sulk more . I've even told him he'd get more action if he kept the beard

Lib76 · 14/07/2010 15:24

can i join the bus girls? haven't been on fo a while as ws trying to SWI and not think too much about cd's etc but here i am again dtermined that this WILL be my month!!

TTC #2 cycle 7 ucl 2-36 cd 16

sillybillymummy · 14/07/2010 16:36

welocme to the bus Lib76 - what chocolates are you going to throw at me, i am getting pretty knackered out running in front of this double decker!!
I have had period pains for last 2 days, but still no AF... might do another test tomorrow, as i go on holiday on friday... then i think, maybe it would be quite nice not to know, so i can drink a few pimms and lemonade with friends.. (and won't have to tell them , as they are sure to guess if i'm not drinking!)
what would you ladies do.. try and forget for over a week... or test and get a BFN AGAIN!!!

hey all my name has been mentioned so much... am I getting a reputation?

SWI most definately over for this month. All OV type pains have gone, so I think I am def on the 2WW. So - testing on the 28th I think, if I hold out that long. DH will now be posting on that website wondering why I am no longer all over him like a rash

duckies recommend a bit of slutty underwear - works wonders

sillybilly TEST TEST TEST - will you be our first grad?

Prinpo I will have to disagree with you on the beards thing UGH. Facial fungus... luckily DH is very blond, so if he tries and grows one it is hardly visible, and very fine

Lib76 welcome, we are on the same cycle date, if you won't test I won't...

Taking go on, order some cheap tests online... you can always use them next month. Saying that with this theory I have got through hundreds of the things, so maybe not the best advice.

I am feeling hopeful - had a really vivid dream last night in which I was given a load of eggs and had to catch them - and I did. Obviously my subconscious telling me I caught my egg. Or something...

sillybillymummy · 14/07/2010 19:19

feeling really guilty, as i have just taken sudafed.. but i am not pregnant, as far as i know, and feeling so so rotten, and going out tonight with the ladies!
I can't not take drugs every month, when i'm waiting to find out, can i?
Delilah - I will test tomorrow... i don't think i will be ,because my last AF was 15th June, so that makes me March.. sorry!
But because i was chatting to you all on march i came across... and there was mention of pic & mix!

Hello, please can I get on the bus?

.

I have been lurking here for a few days and have decided I might as well join you!

Now, I haven't worked out all the abbreviations yet, but I think I've understood most of what you've been talking about....so here goes:

kirstyjc ttc#3 cycle1 CD16 UCL28 days I think but I've never ever checked...!

I was lucky with both previous pregnancies in that we conceived first month each time without worrying about counting or checking CM but I can't help feeling I'm pushing my luck....but I am SOOOO impatient!

Hello to you all

Mylittlebubble · 14/07/2010 20:35

Hi Girls, ooh getting exciting about the POAS and looking forward to the seeing a busy grads list.

AF has now left the building we need to get cracking with the SWi but I am away with owrk so have to wait until Friday. I'm sure I OV later in the cycle but really want to go for it this month.

Oh I have a big block of Aero peppermint if anyone wants to share with me
