Just to start us off.

May this be a happy and lucky thread for all of us.

OP posts:
hippychick66 · 14/08/2010 17:02

lol at sassy and Mr Sassy going for it like teenagers with grown-ups next door.

GG - I cannot begin to imagine how you are feeling (hang on in there).

jolly See comment to GG - the same applies to you, lovie. I am getting stressed just thinking about YOUR scan!!! Confused

lunatic thanks for popping back. So glad to hear all is progressing well. Do you know Sassy old Susie in real life or from a bereavement thread??

As for me, I am on CD 1 already Shock. Yes I worked out that I ov'd on about day 8 so I only had a 20 day cycle. Back to SWI before I know it.

After my MMC I had a 21 day cycle and I remember thinking that that was a sign that I should just give up and of course then got preg the next month, so hopefully that will be repeated but with a decent embryo this time.

I think the Anti Bs are working. i do still have some tummy pain but of course that is more endo related what with me being on my period.

I have been having another pain which has scared me quite a bit and I am booked in to see my lovely GP on monday (more waiting in the waiting room for my poor boys). - Ever since the MC in June I have been getting pin prick like pains in my legs.

And they have got worse recently. it feels like when you think a small insect is caught in your trousers and is biting you. According to GOOGLE I am either anxious, aneamic, about to get parkinsons (which is in the family) or about to have a massive heart attack (what my dad died of!!!), so as you can see, I am slightly worried about these leg pains!!!! Hmm

Thanks so much to everyone for popping back when I summonds you - it made me feel very full of my own piss and importance!!! Grin

Speak soon (as long as I don't have that massive heart attack!)

Diege · 14/08/2010 17:44

Hello! Just back from hols so just marking my place as not had time to read through yet!
Well af came mid-through hols Sad on cd 32 would you believe (as opposed to my usual 25 day cycle). Really, really thought I was pregnant (symptoms wise I had the lot) and was really surprised (as opposed to gutted, initially I think) when I got a bfn when I tested cd 32). I really think it must have been the angus, giving me a LP of 15 days now Hmm.Not sure what's best - one of 10 days or one of 15??Confused. Will give it another month anyway and try and pinpoint ov too (have finally bought a thermometer and am taking my temps (scary). Back later when I've had a read through!Love to all xx

Diege · 14/08/2010 17:45

the agnus Blush

hippychick66 · 14/08/2010 17:46

(Hippy waves at diege)

SassySusan · 14/08/2010 17:53

Hippy Oi... not so much of the old I know Lunatic from the bereaved mums thread unfortunately. As Lunatic knows I am gutted she is pg, as it has ruined my opportunity to start an "Ancient and Bereaved and Trying to Conceive" thread. The mind boggles!

I think I am developing a sick sense of humour - probably the only thing that is keeping me going.Grin

Anyway Hippy, I wish we were at it like teenagers. Spoke to my homeopath today who asked how my sex drive was Blush What sex drive? I don't have a sex drive - I have a rota.

Glad the infection is sorted. I have looked over your scary list - yes, please go to the doctor straight away. However, I have to say, anxiety is by far the most likely cause - but it is still better to rule out the scary ones... not that being so anxious your legs prickle isn't bad enough.... yoga? a nice glass of wine?

hippychick66 · 14/08/2010 18:23

Love the idea of you saying, "Ohh how lovely, what's a sex drive? Can i get one of those?"

Must admit I can't remember the last time I had sex just cos I bloody wanted it. It's always either cos it's the right time or hubbie wants to and I don't want him to feel used. The weird thing is that i always enjoy myself (IYSWIM) so why don't i want it more??????

Sorry I called you old Sassy - i'm just Envy cos i'm bloody 44 next week Angry

hippychick66 · 14/08/2010 18:26

ps. sassy If I had any guts at all I'd have a look at the bereaved mums thread - I have a feeling it would humble me and make me appreciate what I have - but I'm a coward so i wont read it - i will simply say how bloody sorry I am for you and looney (I like that name for her) that you have to be on it!

Diege · 14/08/2010 20:26

Help me with name changes/newbies please!! Blush. Sassy are you new or 'old' Wink? I have scrolled back and I'm so sorry Rowing that things didn't turn put well - I was so sure they would xx
Could I be cheeky and ask for a brief synopsis of the lasdt fortnight's event?Grin

SassySusan · 14/08/2010 20:31

I am new. I was 40 in April, and have been ttc for 3 months, and I am fed up with having sex with DH, and jealous that Hippy always enjoys it in the end Angry

hippychick66 · 14/08/2010 20:39

Here is the omnibus edition:-

sassy is new but she's been on here yacking so much she feels like an old friend Smile. i'll let her introduce herself properly.

I've had various illnesses and have convinced myself I'm at deaths door several times (nothing new there).

Lots of people have been shagging.

jolly has her 12 week scan on monday and has scared us all by reporting brown spotting. (good luck honey).

There have been no new BFP's. (unless I've forgotten one).

I'm on CD1 Angry

I think Beatrie Bow might be a new name to you but she used to be p0lyanna and changed due to stalkers.

OMG of course Rainbow - she has another BFP but is now known as gallwaygirl. Sorry honey forgot your BFP!!! She name changed for a fresh start.

italian has decided to go for another doner ivf session and is on the waiting list.

You know rowing's news Sad

Anyone think of anything else to add????

Diege · 14/08/2010 20:39

Grin You sound like one of us Sassy I too am just 40 (in May) and have been trying for 5 months now (I do have 4 dcs already, so realise I am very very fortunate and probably a tad greedy Blush)I too fall into the pattern of sex instigator on 'fertile' days, reluctant but martyrish on days when I feel I need to balance out the obvious 'timing' issues with a few SWOIs. I have to say it does all feel a bit of an effort at times Blushand am a bit Envy of Hippy's lurking libido too Grin

Diege · 14/08/2010 20:45

Ooh thanks Hippy that's very comprehensive! I did snigger at the shagging bit (I don't know why - if we're not doing it on here we're gearing for it, dressing for it (or not - that reminds me - dh bought me a brown fake slankert on holiday Shock - I thought of you all...)thinking about when we can get away with NOT doing it, etc etc...Grin.
Congrats Rowing!!! I am in awe of your fecundity (is that a word??)
Jolly I have everything crossed - have been there,as have most of us on here I think! At least you will get a conclusive answer come Monday, though I know that's little consolation. Hope you get throguh tomorrow ok xx
Oh and do you think I've done right to carry on with the agnus??? Confused

hippychick66 · 14/08/2010 20:51

I think my DH would say that my libedo is very well hidden!

hippychick66 · 14/08/2010 20:52

See - I can't even spell LIBIDO!

SassySusan · 14/08/2010 20:54

Diege I have looked at your profile to assess whether you are the sort of person I would want to talk to. It seems to be knee deep in small children - have you noticed, you have already had a baby? (Quite recently I think...)
Acutally, as long as you are prepared to carry them, give birth, get up thorugh the night, cover your carpet with spaghetti hoops etc., I think you can have as many as you like...

I am also impressed you SWOI - I just can't be arsed.

SassySusan · 14/08/2010 20:59

Hippy I like the idea of a "libedo" - it sounds like some posh sanitary ware for your bathroom used only for washing yer fanny... I forget the MN word for fanny other than it being a bit like banjo...

LIBEDO (noun)
Sanitaryware in a variety of pleasing shades for washing the vagina after SWOI.

EG:
"Horny Hippy noted with pride that her new lime-green libedo with power sluice was getting plenty of action and coordinated nicely with her new bathroom walls".

galwaygal · 14/08/2010 20:59

Hi Diege good to see you back. Yep I have name changed! Oh and I have to agree, sassy is new and already one of the gang here. Hippy is so good at keeping up with us all. She did a yell-out to everyone last week and everyone came running to her!

Well a negative test (evap line only) gave me the go-ahead to have fun today - building a dry-stone wall. Yep, like the ones you see in the west of Ireland or northern England. It is fun, but a little labour intensive. However all the lifting heavy stones had the intended effect, built part of the wall and started me spotting again. Now hoping that this latest m/c will get going soon and be over with soon too. I am determined to start dieting this month.

It is great being hyperfertile in some ways, no matter which day we chose to swi, we always end up preg. So the big advantage is we can sw-without any intent and really just enjoy instead. Once a month seems to be enough for me to get pg Shock. It would just be nice to not have the m/c to go with it Confused.

SassySusan · 14/08/2010 21:02

Oh no GG I'm sorry.

I am probably being a bit thick here, but how early do you think the miscarriage is. Do you mean you're getting a BFP and then almost miscarry?

hippychick66 · 14/08/2010 21:27

I am a bit confused as well. Do you mean it was a CP or that building the wall bought on an inevitable MC or that the first faint BFP line was an evap line???

Whatever the case GG I hope you're ok. It is weird that you can shag pretty much anytime of the month and still get preg. I remember one month when you only passed on the stairsSmile

LOL at sassy - love the dictionary clipping.

I think you all have the idea that I am a total sex siren - jolly started that rumour. Maybe it's just cos we've been together for 14 years and DH knows what buttons to push but i do make sure I get my reward for SWI. Usually after him as the contractions of orgasm help give the troops an extra leg up (yes, yes Hippy you've explained that before Mrs!!)

But it does beg the question - why arn't I more keen to do it more often?? Maybe in a couple of years time when we either have our other baby or have given up trying to get another baby and it is once again an act of love within our marriage then i will want to do it more - Biscuit.

By the way GG - I was very flattered when people came crawling out of the woodwork when i called you all back the other day - I was soooo touched Grin

SassySusan · 14/08/2010 22:20

Well, have been to the kitchen and discovered DH has bought me some posh organic decaffeinated tea. Apparently it is twice the price. I will not let on that it tastes the same as Tescos own brand. It comes in a nice designer packet with a farrow and ball type colour scheme. It makes me feel special. Smile

Maybe I will SWOI after all xx

randomimposter · 15/08/2010 09:28

ooo Sassy I used to work in posh tea. I mean not in it, but YKWIM.

Morning all, quite calm today. More brown CM but nothing else. Just wanting tomorrow to be here really.

Off to squeeze my DS a few more times. x

OP posts:
Diege · 15/08/2010 10:33

Morning Smile. Jollster parden my ignorance, but just thinking that brown spotting sounds ok? Just thinking that by now if there was anything amiss it would surely have developed into something more? I dso remember the mw telling me that (when I had pinkish brown spotting after my 12 wk scan with dd1) that bleeding is common around this time as placenta is taking over and can 'trigger' a hormonal 'bleed'xx
Sassy I too have decaff everything. I did used to switch back to regular when af arrived for a week or so, but I can't really taste the difference, and feel just as knackered after full strength that I figured I might as well stick with the decaff. Not sure the decaff diet coke is doing me much good though...Oh and yes, lots of Los in the diege house - ranging from just 9 down to 14 months Grin

Beattiebow · 15/08/2010 13:41

hello all, am on my hols (bit hellish so far, but I'm trying my best!). just in the 2ww now.

diege that has happened to my LP too. I have stopped taking all supplements as i would rather af came after a 10 day LP than a 15 day one. (I know not logical really).

Hello to everyone else. Good luck for tomorrow jolls

SassySusan · 15/08/2010 14:30

Hope you are putting your feet up Jollster

Have decided not to OPK or chart my temperature this month. Instead, I'm just going to rely on intution Hmm

DH went to a high church today, where it is apparently a Holy day for the Virgin Mary. I mean - what an inspiration she should be to us Blush So maybe I will pray as well.

Sounds like you are extremely fertile Diege DH used to be a Uni lecturer too.. I am imagining your HoD's face when you tell him you are pg again and he has to find cover again..

hippychick66 · 15/08/2010 15:00

Busy busy busy tidying up the playhouse and throwing away the little chairs that are too small for my DC's Sad - note they are also filthy and rotten (wooden) - hence am not giving them to anyone. It just feels sad that I now have big hefty lads instead of little-uns.

But who knows, I am such a sex fiend there could well be a baby along soon Wink.

love to all. especially jolly - I agree with my bezzy mate diege it could be the placenta taking over for the next 6 months Smile.
