hi

for those who dont know me, im a long term TTCer (2.5 yers and counting) i have had 6 MCs 5 being in the last 2.5 years and i have a blood disorder to 'explain' this track record

so... to the reason for me posting

DH and i decided to take a ttc break after our 6th MC in january and since then my cycles have regulated again from 31 days to 27-28 days. i have had 4 cycles straight of 27-28 days and then this current cycle i was expecting AF to arrive around 29-30th may. i am still waiting i have got VERY sore (.)(.)'s and i feel really tired but cant sleep i was EXACTLY like this when i was pregnant with my DD(4yo)

i am scared to test as my most recent MCs have happened between week 5-6 and i dont want to see BFN either

so basically i just wondered if there is anyone around to distract me from obsessing over whether i am pregnant or not cos i need to take my mind off it

I'm liking your positive attitude Ei, I have massively high hopes for you this time.

6+6 is great!!

I have no symptoms. Nothing. Not even a sore boob. Am sat drinking decaf tea (Sainsbury Red Label - only decaf tea I've found that doesn't actually taste that bad) and googling how soon I can test after an hCG shot.

Have read that 10 days past the iui is ok to start testing as it takes 10 days for the medicated hCG to leave your system. So, Monday it is then!

(although don't mention this to my husband, he thinks we should wait until the day the nurse told us - 14 dpiui which would be Friday - waaaaaay too far away!).

Ei, I think you need to start making very loud noises if they don't sort out an early scan for you. Given your history, I would say its fairly important to work out exactly what is happening! When I had to have bloods for my mc, they took the bloods in the morning and had the results by the afternoon. You shouldn't have to wait until Tues. Naughty NHS pissing you around!

Rant over.

x

PandaEis · 19/06/2010 12:55

PnM friday is FAAARRR too long to wait to test i would agree that monday and every day after then is the bets bet

the GP has agreed to refer me for the consultant when the results are back but i have to go and see them about it so i need to wait and see!!

still... i feel wretched today so im keeping my fingers crossed

Ei hoorah for sickness it is always a reassuring symptom to have when do you get the results from your gp?

rainbowdays · 19/06/2010 21:45

Panda - yippy, you have got to 7 weeks today. Things are looking good. I hope you get sensible doctors this week and not silly ones.

Picnmix - if it were me I would be using the cheap internet tests from now to be testing out the hcg. Watching it slowly disappear and then ofcourse when it reappears being certain it is 'cause you are pregnant!""" but I am a poas-aholic!

I am doing ok, I am 5+3 today, and starting to feel a little queasy at times, but generally ok. The continued gradual increase in the darkness of the hpt's is encouraging me too.

I really hope we all get what we want with babe in arms next year.

PandaEis · 20/06/2010 13:30

FIRST RESPONSE BFP

EI huge congrats

digitalgirl · 20/06/2010 14:49

Yay ei yay this is fab fab news! Now on with the scan!

PnM Friday must feel very far away. How about holding out till 12dpo? Therefore if you don't implant till 10dpo you've got 2 days to build up the hcg.

rainbowdays · 20/06/2010 17:19

EI - fantastic news, congratulations, and happy days. I am sure if you go in as the demanding weepy pregnant woman tomorrow, the GP will have to listen (if not then make him! by refusing to leave until he gives you are scan referral). I am so happy that the tests have finally told you what you already knew - you are pregnant!!!

Turkelton · 20/06/2010 21:48

woohoo [grin

That is brill news Ei

Turkelton · 20/06/2010 21:48

I was bound to mess up one of these

PicknMix · 22/06/2010 23:55

Have you managed to get an appt yet Ei?

x

rainbowdays · 23/06/2010 00:12

picknmix - have you tested yet?????

EI - did they finally give you a scan appointment yet???

PandaEis · 23/06/2010 00:41

rainbowdays · 23/06/2010 11:17

, so pleased that you are doing so well. Hope they hurry up with that appointment for you.

I am doing ok. I am 5+6 now, the progesterone will mean that I will not know yet whether this is a keeper or not, but I am just trying to keep calm and relaxed about it. I will go to the gp on friday and ask for a scan for the following week. I just hope that I can stay calm til then.

PicknMix · 23/06/2010 19:17

Wow! Two great positive results!!!

Am pleased GP has confirmed Ei, now lets hope the scan appt comes through quickly so you can take a look at that long awaited for little bean

Rainbow am so pleased this one is hanging on as well, keep chanting, calm and relaxed, calm and relaxed. Look forward to hearing what the GP says on Friday!

I've been testing since Monday and, needless to say, it's been negative every day . Have the sorest boobs though, but this is not unigue, happens most months (although not usually this sore.... Am just trying not to think about it. Ha!

rainbowdays · 24/06/2010 10:29

Picnmix - hoping you have a surprise late result. Will you have blood test on friday, or do they just ask you to do the dip-stick thing? I am so ignorant of such matters.

I am at 6 weeks, my most frequent m/c time is 6+1, so trying to keep the calm thoughts going......

digitalgirl · 25/06/2010 18:01

ei 7+5 today! Not long till you're 8 weeks!

rainbow hope today has passed without any trouble.

PnM hope you're ok - do you ever hear from bucky or GG? I have barely any free time so haven't seen them for ages.

rainbowdays · 25/06/2010 19:29

digitalgirl - thanks for thinking of me, yep today no sign of any trouble, just keeping hoping it carries on that way.

I got to look at my medical notes today and found a couple of test results missing from the file and the other tests pointing towards an inflammatory tissue issue, possibly rhumatoid athritis... not what I was looking for, but hey does explain my stiff fingers in the mornings! The tests are borderline for whether I should be taking asprin or not, so I am trying to decide what to do on that one as I had 3 m/c while taking it.

How is everyone else.... things still looking good????

digitalgirl · 25/06/2010 21:05

That's great to hear rainbow. Are you having a scan soon?

PandaEis · 28/06/2010 20:30
