Oh this is exciting, could be another 2 graduates this month then!!! Tillysmummy, how long is your cycle normally. Any updates on symptoms today you two????

hi all, tillysmummy you're leaky boobs can only mean one thing!! this only happens when you have some sort of preg hormone. funny i never read this site till this morning and i squeezed my boobs(dont all desperate girls think alike) but i had nothing. i am on dy27, i am going out too buy a test now. promised myself that i would wait till next thursday which would be dy34 as last months p was but i am now itching to know. also its strange how quackers and jemma7 and myself have the bleed and the thrush. i did see on internet that you can get it due to a change in hormones, heres hoping....

Jemma7 and Quackers, I don't know what my cycle normally is because haven't had one for so long off the pill when I wasn't pregnant or breast feeding. Do know that my boobs are madly sore and that I had a headache last night but that's down to the heat im sure. I think im not and it's just my body reacting to being off the pill. Splash, my friend said that ever since she had her first child if she squeezed her boobs she could get something out so I am not going to get my hopes up ! Going out at lunch time to buy a test. Does everyone recommend First Response then ? Or should I buy Clear Blue ???? Help ????!!!!

Tillysmummy - I couldn't honestly make any recommendations as i have never been pg before - I have used clear blue and boots own - only thing i can offer is that ClearBlue are expensive but i don't know if this is because of their quality.
My best mate used clear blue on both her pg's and got a +ive results straight away.

Haven't really got an update on symptoms quackers but here they are:
Splitting Headaches
Dizzyness
Dull Ache in tummy
1 day Period (Implantation bleeding?)
Thrush
Strong Wee
Constant Tiredness
Runny Nose

The most annoyin things is i can associate most of these symptons with other things like stresses out at work etc.
Doeesn't help that cycles is irregular so never know when is a good time to test.

why dont you test today jemma7, i dont know how you can resist to wait.

i also have headache now to add to my list, imagination or what??

I can't resist it - i am really really struggling - think the only thing that is making me not test is that if i do it too early and get a -ve i couldn't stand the wondering whether it was right or if i'd done it too early - am going to try and leave it as long as poss but don't know how much longer i can take te waiting and wondering - ARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

Tillysmummy, I'd try First response first and if no joy try 2 days later with a clear blue. Try and save a wee for a couple of hours if you can!!
Splash, thankyou for asking!! No sickness but never really did, just hate some foods, gone off tea and I feel incredibly tired, like I have never felt before. My boobs haven't leaked but have had the enlarged milk stone things since a week after we did it. Your symptoms sound so strong all of you. It would be lovley if you could synchronise tests!!

Hi Jemma 7, spoil sport! It is upsetting if its a neg though. If you have already missed a p though it's certainly worth it!!! You never know you might have somehting to celebrate. I find it hard to not drink, but stick to the 2 untits a week rule. When \i felt like this a week ago, like you I just took it easy on the booze. NO chance of a sneaky one this afters????
I feel pg but not sick. Its very early only 4 weeks. I feel exceptionally tired and gone off stuff but hopefull yit will all come soon!

I am so pleased for you quackers - did u test early or had u missed a period?
I think this is my trouble, because my cycles have been irregular since coming off pill i don't know if i have actually missed one yet - on day 29 now but longest cycles has been 38 days which was about 2 months ago - don't know if i can stand waiting another 9 days!

I tested on day 22 and my cycle is 25 days, having LH surge on day 11/12. My periods been getting shorter and shorter so i was very pleased to get a positive this month as if they got much shorter i might not have been able to sustain the pg! Thank god for persona getting the days for me.
I tell you a good way of knowing if you can test. What day did you get an Lh surge or feel ovualtion starting? This is a good indication of how far you are I believe. For example. I knew I could test on day 22 as my ov was day 12/13, so 14 days later I knew it should be well enough establishd to test. I only know this because I got obsessed with websites about this! Is this info any use to your decision???

Could be but i haven't got the feintest idea when i ov - last period was 18th June which last for 8 days - i then had 1 day bleed on 6th July and if my cycle was 28 days i should've come on yesterday!
Can u shed any light as to when i was likely to have ov'd?

Well if your a 28 dayer then you would probably have ov'd day 14ish 2/3 rd July. But you could have been a little earlier if 1 day p on the 6th. Assuming you ovualted on 2nd and bled on 6th. I would def take a test. If it was imp bleed you should have enough hormones to get a positive!

went to the docs about the thrush, it was a temp doc and he asked if i could be preg? i told him about the blood and could be ass to the thrush and he said no. got a first response kit and did it and guess it was neg. i think i ov on 5th of jul. is there any more hope for me? feel like doing it again now.

Oh no Splash - sorry to hear that - did the doctor say the thrush could have anything to do with being PG.
Of course there is still hope - it may be too early to pick up hgc yet - stay positive and try again in a few days.

Splash, if you ov on 5 july, you should wait up to 14 days b4 you test. so that means the 19th. give it til sat and test again

Done first response and it's positive. Still can't quite believe it ! Going to do Clear Blue soon just to confirm, will keep you posted. How on earth am I going to concentrate on work !!!!! Anyone else tested yet ?

Congratulations. It's a def positive. Your symptoms were almost conclusive in themselves I would say but WHEYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know, can't quite believe it. Is it possible to get a positive when it's not ????
