Thanks

I think I'll not test unless I'm on 40 day or more as that is definatly very late for me.

It is ironic how we come on on the days we test. I did that once before (pre cbfm) and the same thing happened.

I used a first responce test (buy one get one free in Boots at the moment) and I know it sounds weird but I hated the fact the line was so clear. Like a really bright, definate line. Like it was saying 'No, don't be stupid.'

How can a line (or lack of) be so depressing?

Welcome TTCbabyNo1, I cant imagine what you must of gone through. I admire your strength and for what it is worth I would of made the same decision. Wishing you lots of luck xx

Keziahhopes · 20/06/2010 17:21

sorry not really being around - struggling with news that dh's sperm not motile and low number along with me not ovulating. Scared to find out why not ovulating - but at least they didn't tell me why, fear ran out of eggs. Feels ages till end of July when go to hospital again and really hope don't have another different dr (2 different juniors so far, quick chat with consultant first time) and a ten minute slot.

Welcome TTCbabyNo1 - great people here (they dont' all moan like me, sorry not good day here!)

Oh - and 6 high's on monitor and no peak yet...

TTCbabyNo1 · 20/06/2010 17:22

Hi and thank you vnewmummy.

Not everyone would agree with our decision but its nice to hear supportive words.

Can someone tell me when this EWCM is likley to appear?? I'm only on day 9 of my 1st cycle TTC and wasn't expecting it this early?
I suppose it differs from person to person!

I'll have to apologise in advance fellow posters, my questioning may become incesant as I've never kept such a close eye on my bodily functions before.

x

FlyingCat · 20/06/2010 19:27

Sigh another month another failed attempt. So annoying as I really thought we had a chance this month. Would whoever is kind enough to be updating the stats please put me back to day 1 again.

Wierdest second half of cycle ever though, the sort that made me really wonder what was going on inside - 6 days of spotting before AF finally showed up properly and the biggest sorest boobs I've ever had (sorry if TMI).

This week we finally have our appointment with fertility clinic so at least we should start on the road to finding out what's wrong.

Keziah so thinking of you, based on the first tests I think me and DH are likely to be in similar situation. Keep hoping it was just a blip on the first tests but not entirely confident.

The problem with having to wait so long to see specialists is I spend the time going into dark places thinking about all of the dreadful things they could say. Quite honestly I don't think anything they say can be any worse than my nightmares.

TTCBabyNo1 my heart goes out to you and your DH what a horrendous experience. I hope we see you on here for as short and productive a time as possible before you get a BFP and move on to a full and healthy pregnancy. Welcome as you are you deserve some good news.

MissyRaines yep testing is evil. Going forward I'm putting in a rule for myself of at least 5 days late before testing. The let down is just too bad otherwise.

Love to all and good luck.

Morning everyone

Sorry about AF flyingcat , good luck for your appointment though. x x

Welcome TTCbaby1, sorry to hear you've had such a dreadful time of things.

keziah moan as much as you like hun, that's what we're here for!

missy I hate First response too for that exact reson!

Well I've had a really shitty weekend. I did a CB digital on Sat morning just to check and couldn't believe my eyes when I got a BFP with 1-2 weeks on the conception indicator. 1/2 hour later I did another CB digital and a regular CB, digital was a BFN but regular CB was a very faint BFP. Yesterday I did another 2 CB digitals and 2 First Responses and they were all BFNs

I've not said a word to DH or anyone else as this happened in our 2nd cycle and resulted in nothing and didn't want to get his hopes up which was just as well.

I feel utterly deflated. I wasn't expecting a BFP but when I saw it, especially on the digital I really started to believe it as I have been REALLY tired and nauseous and boobs very big but not sore. I think maybe it's been a MMC?

I feel soooo useless and totally fed up of this TTC hellhole rollercoaster.

vnewmummy · 21/06/2010 13:14

Boba - hon is it worth waiting a couple more days and test again?

It does sound like you have some symptons. I had the same thing last month and it is so difficult not to get your hopes up. Big hug but maybe test again..

Angelgirl79 · 21/06/2010 14:39

Hi all, not posted for ages on here but still keeping my eye on things and keeping my fingers crossed for you all.

Boba, i think its worth testing again but test first thing in the morning and by weeing into a cup to test. I got my bfp on the thursday but had negatives on the monday and the wednesday and even on the friday (day after bfp) - dont forget false negatives are more common than false positives and your tiredness and other symptoms sound right.

have a look at this website - Thinking of you hun xxx

Lychees · 21/06/2010 15:58

Yes, Boba, don't give up all hope this month just yet.

Good luck for your appointment, Flying Cat. Keziah, no need to apologise about the moaning. We are all here to share the lows as well as the highs.

Hi Everybody Else!

I've got raging PMT. Do you think that could be a sign ?

TTCbabyNo1 · 21/06/2010 20:25

Hi,

Just wanted to apologise to Keziah for not seeing her post when she greated me, we must have posted at the same time that day!! Thanks though hun.

Hi Boba keep your chin up eh! I know.... thats easy for me to say, being new to all this but there still maybe time yet XX

Hello to everyone else - don't suppose someone could give me an indication of when I could expect at least a high? I'm not getting ahead of myself, just wondering really?!?!?

Thanks

Lychees · 21/06/2010 21:50

TTCbabyNo1, I normally get my highs around CD15/16 and peak on CD17/18. I did peak on CD15 once with no highs beforehand. My cycle averages 32 days.

Keziahhopes · 21/06/2010 22:21

FlyingCat - sorry that you didn't get a bfp = but encouraging that you seeing the dr this week. My best advice is get a folder and keep all notes or records in it... and make sure you get the next apt before you leave (I had 12 weeks between first and 2nd apt, and the tests did take some time to

Boba - waiting and testing again sounds good advice by the others (I never had a bfp even when had symptoms so stopped testing) ... maybe book dr's apt to let them know what is going on also??

Ok - we told both sets of parents our news - my Mum said "there is still hope" and then told me random news from them (couldn't sit with my pain I guess) and m-in-law sent her 35yr old book - guide to 9mths of pregnancy ... all friends have at least one child, including sibling, so ... thanks for being so kind.

Thanks everyone for all the positive thoughts but think I had the rare false positive or maybe chemical pregnancy. Did a FR last night and first thing this am (in a cup as suggested Angel!) and both BFNs . That website was very interesting though so thanks for that.

Keziah don't know if I've misunderstood but did your MIL send you a pregnancy book knowing that you're having trouble TTC?

TTCbabyNo1 · 22/06/2010 12:37

Hi Everyone,

I'm back again - god I feel addicted to this website already!!

You will never belive this - Trust me to ask the Question about when I'm most likely to see a high and then get one the next. Yes thats right, I got my very first ever high this morning. I actually got a little excited and then had to bring myself back down to earth again.

I told my DH and he was happy that we finally got a high. I think he's slightly worried though that I'm only going to want to get jiggy with him when the monitor says so!! How do you handle that???

XX

TTCbabyNo1 · 22/06/2010 12:37

Sorry *Boba& forgot to say -s so sorry bout you BFNs

BIG HUG xxxx

boba82 · 22/06/2010 12:53

Congrats on the high ttcbaby I've stopped telling DH anything, they seem to just stress about it, just pretend it's their natural sexiness you want them for!!

Missyraines · 22/06/2010 13:22

TTCbabyNo1 lots of us didn't get a peak on cycle one so don't fear if you don't get one this cycle. I did worry a bit but it's just the monitor getting used to you. I have however had peaks from cycle 2 onwards.

My updated stats are now
TTc#1, cycle 10, CBFM 4, age 33, UCL 32, CD 4
if whoever is kind enough would update for me.

How hot is this weather? I've got my legs out today - boy do they need some colour!!

TTCbabyNo1 · 22/06/2010 13:27

LOL thanks Boba I'll definately heed your advise and try not to discuss it with him. I think if he was honest he would prefer not to know anyway!
I'll keep that in mind Missyraines thanks for pointing that out.

BabyHoping · 22/06/2010 18:11

Hi everyone!
I have not been posting much as I have been working super intensely again... But here go my news:

I did not get a peak this month... In the last days I have been having lots of symptoms like AF is getting ready to come. Nothing much different than last months so i´m just calmly waiting for it. Also m is flashing in the monitor. Not sure if I have ovulated or not... hope I did

Did my fist acunpunture session last friday. It was great, I left feeling really ZEN and I think I´m a bit less stressed. It was a bit hard when I was there, maybe I´m sensitive, but they put in total 9 needles, 6 on the legs (did not hurt at all) and other 3 in hands and in the midlle of the chest. This ones where quite unconfortable and hurted when twiked... Anyway, I will for sure do more sessions.

BabyHoping · 22/06/2010 18:15

Hi justshaggy! It will be harder to remember your new name...

Congrats on the high ttcbabyno1 Keziah lots of hugs to you...

Keziahhopes · 23/06/2010 00:11

Hello choccie chip - thanks for info on name change!

Boba - yes, my MIL sent me a 35yr old (or older?) book on the stages of pregnancy having being told by her son there were problems of infertility with both of us! Well, better than my Mum's response I guess, which was ignoring me - I think

Hey great news on your 1st high TTCbaby - and like boba said, I found my dh preferred it if I didnt tell him I had a high/peak - took a bit of time to change my mentality there, but I make sure I don't miss them usually now (every other day for us due to low sperm numbers for dh) - though 8 high's in a row is a record for me, and no peak, sigh.

A positive post - like chocciechip posted, have been working on my healthy diet, joined a pilates class once a week and have lost enough weight to reduce my BMI by 2, so getting towards healthier!

Babyhoping - I have booked myself an aeromatherapy massage this week - hope it has same outcome as your needles. Thanks for hugs, kind.
