Hello all
Sorry didn't get chance to post last night - had something on. There's been so much to catch up on.
Viv Glad you got through the anniversary. Having a meal and the toast sounds like really strong things to do. Being worn out today also sounds natural after lots of emotional angst.
Clare I too hate the early starts on trains and it's so weird seeing everyone with their laptops out at that time when normally they'd be asleep or having breakfast! I have to go to Birmingham on Mon, but it's not too early which is good.
Pretty, Dorcas, Magic and Bunder - I'm sorry things haven't been good this week for various reasons - I hope you feel a bit better soon and Magic - good luck for Sat. Welcome MrsGMack, Glasgow, Batteryhen- love the mental picture of an ovulating woman being stopped by police for speeding! Hi to Freezing, Hairy, Sakura, ladybee, hopefully, freezing, mummy, posy. Hope I haven't missed anyone.
Well, good day today. Been very busy preparing a big presentation on last year's performance for Group Director and it's taken ages, but got it done today and got a 'very good' which was amazing so I am pleased it's over. Did quite well to get through it as awake a lot of the night. Woke up at 1am feeling like the room was spinning and felt very sick so laid there for a bit and then was too awake to sleep so read for a few hours. Then got up at 5.45am .
Been feeling strange the last few days - still a bit tired, really struggled with my Cup a Soup on Tues and then yesterday when had fun SWI with DH, all his good stuff made a very speedy exit (sorry if TMI) . The last time all these factors were present was when I was pg before....
So, after my night of extreme nausea, I woke up with extreme nausea and decided I should POAS. And well, it was a BFP! . As you know I really thought we had missed the opportunity this month, but clearly not!
It hasn't quite sunk in yet and we are both trying not to get too excited (just in case). We've decided to wait another week or so before telling close friends and family.
Am concerned that over-eating has already begun - porridge and banana at 6.30am to try and calm things down, another banana and biscuit during presentation then sandwiches, crisps and cake for lunch ..... Then I had a dodgy moment up some spiral stairs and at the top of a castle keep - need to keep more hydrated.
Well, this is an epic post. Wasn't sure how to write it with so many of us trying, but it shows that we can get there in the end! Am not going anywhere for a while so I will stay on the list and not move to Grads and keep and eye on you all!
