Hello ladies, after a mammoth 47 day cycle hoping for a December baby, today is once again CD1 for me.

If all goes to plan this month my EDD would be Jan 30th so I thought I'd start the February bus as a positive step forward.

Am fully expecting to be on my own for a while but do come and sit beside me for the journey if you feel the need......

Hi ladies, just sticking my head around the door for now. Not going to join the list at the moment as I'm not sure how much trying I will be doing TBH.
Have just miscarried so have no idea when I will start ovulating. Am currently thinking I will just relax for a while and what will be will be. I am aware however that in a few weeks I am bound to start thinking about symptoms etc lol.

Sorry, posted before I meant to. Back to CD1 as of half an hour ago - so had 31 day cycle last month which is quite good for me, and a nice normal luteal phase of 13 days- hooray!

Looking forward to May being a good month as it's my birthday and that would be a nice pressie!

Stuffedmk: hope you're ok and best of luck

decafgirl · 05/05/2010 11:36

Aagghh! So annoyed! Waited up for DH to come home late last night but he was a total PITA when he came in, said some unkind things so I told him to bugger off! There was no chance we were going to DTD but it's CD17 now so going to have to make up! Feel like we really should have made use of last night and now I might have missed my chance

My temp usually goes up on CD20 - do you think I'm still in with a chance? My opk was probably negative yesterday so hopefully I haven't missed my egg....aagghh!! so annoyed. This is clearly ALL HIS FAULT!!!

I had such high hopes for this month!

decaf you have my sympathy. Ideally we would be SWI lots at the mo, but DH is volunteering with all the election stuff, so I hardly get to see him, and when I do, he's exhausted!
Best days would probably be tomorrow and friday for us but he will be out from 6am overnight till friday...grr!

Decafgirl: you're still in with a chance until your temp goes up so keep going! OPK only gives you a heads up and as no temp rise yet you're still fertile! Chin up and be nice to DH later no matter what

I feel suprisingly calm today given I'm back to CD1. I had a full on melt down over the entire weekend as the remaining non PG member of my group of friends annouced her second PG. I am now the only one with no news. Worse still they have all managed with no real effort - longest one took 2 cycles, all others were first attempt! Piles the pressure on as we were TTC before them all and now they're all PG and I'm not. We conceived DC1 after 5 cycles and we're now on that so if we don't managed it this time I think I might seriously wobble (if that is at all possible). We see them all every week so I am now surrounded by PG talk and bumps [envy}

8rubberduckies · 05/05/2010 16:03

orchid12 the only thing to do is to take along / order stacks of yummy soft cheese / shellfish / smoked meats / alcoholic beverage of your choice whenever you meet up with them and enjoy with gusto. At the same time as bragging about the wonderful knees-up with all your non-pregnant friends you are planning next month, involving saunas, hot tubs and yet more booze.

I agree with rubby ducky's advice!

Nice to see familiar names from the Jan bus - let's hope a few more of us get lucky this time around.

Had to giggle at decaf's description of what to do when you know it's time for a bit of SWIing but actually you want to wring his bloody neck. I can very much relate to that quandry!

Orchid12 · 06/05/2010 14:51

RAAAHHHHHHHH - pass those hobnobs please and let me gorge. ANOTHER friend is now PG I find out today - I didn't think there could be anymore!!!! There is about 1 a week at the moment.

Give me strength.....Good job I've got a nice relaxing reflexology session booked for tonight otherwise I think I might just curl up and cry some more in true drama queen style.

decafgirl · 06/05/2010 15:18

Oh no Orchid, hope you're ok hon. It's a total nightmare when people announce their news. It'll be you soon pet. Have you had reflexology before? xx

OP posts:
decafgirl · 06/05/2010 17:07

Hmmm...an hour and a half later and I too need to gorge...my friend who started ttc at the same time as me has just told me she's pg. Thrilled for her but at the same time gutted. My OPK is still negative today so starting to worry this is going to be another duff cycle. Already planning on a trip to the gp if it is. So, so scared this isn't going to happen for me. BUT, I haven't shed any tears so that's an improvement right?!

xx

OP posts:
Orchid12 · 06/05/2010 17:22

Oh bless you. Those hobnobs are good stuff - not quite the cure all but they do go some way to helping! You've done well to hold the tears back - made of strong stuff

Sounds like mine and your cycles are similar, it really doesn't help the old PMA does it. What CD are you now? I keep having non-ovulatory cycles (that I do get +ve OPKs for)that are 40+ days. That's why I was so pleased (!) yesterday that AF started bang on cue.

It will happen for you decaff - let's face it you've managed it once already (which is what I tell myself when I get worked up). I had reflexology when we were TTC DC1 after I got myself ludicrously stressed with the whole thing. I found a fertility specialist and two cycles later I was PG. Might have been pure co-oincidence but she did help me put things in perspective and in my mind I thought it really helped. I recommended her to a friend and similar thing happened.

Orchid12 · 06/05/2010 17:23

P.S: have you tried Aguns Castus? After a wonky non OV cycle last time, I took Agnus Castus and this cycle has been perfect (and I'm taking it again now).

Rockbird · 06/05/2010 17:26

I don't know if it made any difference but last time I was ttc I took Agnus Castus. Only took it for about a fortnight, if that, and it all worked like clockwork.
