Well ladies, its about time we had a new thread, the old one is getting very long. Plus I think we need another fresh start, with lots of positive babydust:

.,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'- .,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,' .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,' .,'-.,'-.,'-',.

Get a big handful girls, i think we all need it.
I was trying to think of something great and positive to put, but this TTC lark is getting us all down, i'm fed up of trying, but we will all succeed eventually, our times will come.

It will be much better for our little ones to have a good start when our bodies are truly ready to carry them.

I'm having a bloodtest tomorrow, nicmum2boys, to see if there are antibodies in my blood. I will have to have another test in about 3 weeks time. If they are both neg then all is well, but if both or one are pos then any future pregnancy will have to be closely monitored.

I was going to ring hosp today to complain, but not having such a good day and couldn't gee myself up to do it. Tomorrow, I promise...

maddyd · 18/08/2005 16:42

Hey diddle we must be having our af's at the same time, with mine been early and yours being late. Im due in one week too which is cool as we can try and stop each other from testing early.

Mojomummy · 18/08/2005 16:48

Hi , just been invited over by Diddle

Just off to Asda then will read all about you girls

maddyd · 18/08/2005 16:59

HumphreysCorner · 18/08/2005 17:43

spub · 18/08/2005 19:17

Hi to all and wecome to mojo.
Just off for a qick bd!! hope that's not tmi!!!!

baggybear · 18/08/2005 20:14

Hi Mojo!! How you doing? Glad you have popped onto this thread. They are all great. All the MNers on here have helped me A LOT.

spub · 18/08/2005 20:26

Aw, shucks. I can feel a big virtual group hug coming on....

Mojomummy · 18/08/2005 20:58

I'm doing ok. I just can't believe that 4 days ago I was nearly 8 weeks pregnant & so pleased & now it's all over

The hospital were really nice to mean, which made things easier as DH had just gone away on a business trip (he's coming back tomorrow am

I keep searching the web for answers, but of course there aren't any. Although I was nearly 8 weeks, the scan measured at 5 weeks,so perhaps my eggs aren't up to it... I'm concerned that age just isn't on my side anymore. Then I remember Madonna etc who are older..

Has anyone who's had a recent ERCP used ovo kits ? I used Persona before to find fertile days, which worked very well, but you need to have a proper period & I'm too impatient to wait

Will try not to be obessive, but unfortunately that's the way I am

spub · 18/08/2005 21:06

Mojo-
Sorry you are having a bad time. I lost at 7 weeks and "fortunately" didn't retain anything so didn't need any further intervention. It took 6 weeks for AF to come back. Now on month 2 ttc and am using the clearblue digital OPK which gave me a smile yesterday so have been bd'ing for GB!
We are all impatient so know how it is.
Hope you get some big hugs and love from your dh when he gets back tomorrow.

Diddle · 18/08/2005 22:23

maddyd - big smiles at the thought of you and me trying to stop each other testing to early, we have to be the worst people at waiting. I remember a couple of months ago we both posted on here saying "well still" waiting, then confessed days later that we had been testing all along in secret How are you feeling? is the pain easing?

welcome mojomummy glad you came to join us. I spent all the time searching the net for answers too, and you're right they're aren't any. But we'll all get there.

spub - you lucky devil, bd is out for us tonight. DH is snoring on the sofa already , but it means i can chat without getting moaned at.

baggybear - hope tomorrow is easier than the last few days and you manage to sort out the hospital/doctors. Good luck with the blood test, I presume you'll have to wait to hear the results for a few days.

baggybear · 18/08/2005 22:29

Thanks diddle. Got a scan tomorrow morning to make sure everything has "come away", and then blood test in afternoon. Going away on Saturday, so will get results when I get back. Then I will have to have a repeat test in about 3 weeks time. SIGH - will be lad when all this is over

Mojo - glad you are feeling"okay" and pleased for you that DH is home tomorrow. Hope you're taking care and getting lots of rest. Lots of {{{hugs}}} xxx

baggybear · 18/08/2005 22:29

Will be GLAD when its all over - not a LAD!!!! lol!!

Diddle · 18/08/2005 22:36

baggybear - will be thinking of you tomorrow, I hate going backto the hospital where it all happened. Makes me sad every time, I know it won't be easy for you.

I visited my grandad in the hospital today, and his ward is very close to maternity. saw a mother walking out with her newborn, and a lovely pink balloon with congratulations on it. I don't know how i kept myself together

Think i'm having another "its not fair" weeks. but it really isn't fair!!!!

anyway, off to bed now, taking the kids out tomorrow and need all the energy I can gather.

Night all

Diddle · 19/08/2005 07:26

morning all,

baggybear - was just reading your post on last the just wanted to talk last night. please don't worry about crying loads, and feeling so low. It is totally normal, and will help to let our emotions out. It does get easier, just takes time. and 4 1/2 months after my 2nd m/c i still cry when i think about it.
Hope all goes well today, and you have a good weekend if we don't hear from you later (you have a busy day)
(((((big hugs to keep you going)))))))) while you're away from your pc.

Morning all,

Rainy day play here, boring! Good luck today Baggybear. Hopefully all will turn out fine and you can relax for your next pg (as much as possible anyway!)

Welcome Mojomummy, good to see you here. I saw a few of your postings on Conception a few days ago.So sorry for your loss .It so horrid to have all that excitement, hope and love snatched away. Glad you have come over to utilise all the care and support everyone here offers. I don't what I would have done without being able to blab and blub to this lot! Oh ok Spub....Group {{{HUG}}}

On about CD 13/14 today which on a 35 cycle feels a bit early to start bding, but I might go for Petunia's approach, every other day for the next 2 weeks DH should like that!

Mojomummy · 19/08/2005 11:48

Morning

What does CD 13/14 mean ?

Are you filling up your men with zinc to help their sperm ?

I'm off to the healthfood shop today, in search of Royal Jelly a al Gillian Mckeith. Also read some other posts on here about agnus castus, anyone else tried it?

Will also ring the miscarriage association for their advice on recovery/resting/conception again. Will let you know if anything interesting comes up

LunarSea · 19/08/2005 11:57

CD is "cycle day" - starting from day 1 of AF.

strike1 · 19/08/2005 12:12

Tried to pump multi vits into my fella but he wouldn't take them unless I forced him, so eventually I gave up I've told him if it takes too long to concieve or we suffer another m/c he is on a strict routine!

Mojomummy · 19/08/2005 12:12

ok thanks - just been on the phone to a very nice lady at the miscarriage association.

www.miscarriageassociation.org.uk/main4.htm#leaflets/sorry.htm

basically she said if your body can is well enough to ovulate, then you're ok to make a baby. Some peole prefer to wait, some don't.

I'm off to get ovo sticks

Welcome back Lottie! Good to hear from you again. Well I'm still here, second month ttc but we've had quite a few BFP's recently so hopefully the good luck will rub off. Are you still running? I remember chatting with you about that last time you were around. Hope all is good, well and happy with you.
