Well ladies, its about time we had a new thread, the old one is getting very long. Plus I think we need another fresh start, with lots of positive babydust:

.,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'- .,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,' .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,' .,'-.,'-.,'-',.

Get a big handful girls, i think we all need it.
I was trying to think of something great and positive to put, but this TTC lark is getting us all down, i'm fed up of trying, but we will all succeed eventually, our times will come.

It will be much better for our little ones to have a good start when our bodies are truly ready to carry them.

thanks strike1 & petunia.

strike1 - glad you're on a promise now heres to lots of successful bd.

Petunia - sorry to hear you're under the weather, very strange that you're feeling sick, is it obe of your pg symptoms? Fingers crossed for you, let us know how you get on, and i wonder if you will resist testing before Weds, don't think i could.

petunia · 14/08/2005 14:25

Diddle- the sickness, I've had that before with pg, along with aching boobs and not sleeping very well, and I've got all that too! Still trying to resist testing though!

nicmum2boys · 14/08/2005 14:36

Diddle that does sound like it could be implantation bleeding. Up until we started ttc this time round, the only bleeding I've had mid cycle has been implantation bleeding, and it has varied from bright red spotting, to browny discharge much like you describe (had it with all 4 pgs, 2DSs 2mc). Previously I would have said it must be implantation, except that for the last 2 months since we started ttc I have had a mid cycle bleed 7dpo and got all excited, but tested -ve, so obviously wasn't implantation Confused. Sorry, not been much help there have I?? 'fraid you are in that oh so annoying postion of "wait and see".

Ooh Petunia, sounding good........ really hoping it's early pg symptoms, good luck for wednesday

HC I thought hcg was produced from the time of implantation, like you say, what's a girl to believe?

I am trying to stay calm and relaxed, but after last months continual bleeding from 7dpo debacle I am already getting really tense that I'm going to be bleeding everytime I go to the loo, and I think I'm only 2dpo. This is ridiculous, I need to get a grip somehow, I mean, what happens when I do get pregnant, cos I know I'm going to be even more terrified of bleeding then, and lets face it I've bled every time I've been pregnant, so the odds on sailing through it without any scares are pretty slim. Need to go and sit in a corner and switch off 'til testing time lol.

Diddle · 14/08/2005 16:05

petunia - sounds quite positive then, lets not get your hopes up though.

nicmum2boys - Thank you for your opinion, could be anything couldn't it. But i can't rule out the implantation bleeding and really hope that it is. fingers crossed.
Hate the wait and see stage, just want to know now.

Evening all

Diddle-could it be good news for you-hope so! ((xx))

petunia-one of us testing soon must hit the jackpot-surely???? The first time I used those strips was on the due day of AF and it was so bright pink and an obvious result so by the laws of average it should have showed up many days before but paler so my results today must be truly negative and correct-BAH!. Dare you to test-go on. I've got really horrible period pain so I think AF is on her way. Was feeling sick but think it was worrying about having a filling . My boobs are very sore but only coz I keep squeezing them! Good luck hun ((xx))

nicmum2boys-try and relax (know it is difficult though). ((xx))

I think I'm going to read up again on HCG levels. Won't make any difference to the result I suppose as no line means no HGC so no baby end of (thanks Craig).

Hope everyone is chillin'.

Byee for now
xxxx

Hi everyone

Diddle and Petunia - got fingers crossed for you!

I'm due any day now ... 28 days is Thurs but I'm usually 2-3 days early. Have come to work prepared with tampax etc in an attempt to remain calm and expect the inevitable. Have got the usual tummy cramps and back ache so don't think this is my month. BUT - this morning put some clothes in DD's new wardrobe and the new wardrobe smell sent me running to the loo where I spent the next 5 mins dry heaving. Very strange.

Am resisting testing till Wed/Thurs as I know I'll only feel foolish if it's -ve.

Diddle · 15/08/2005 10:46

wishingchair - its so hard to resist testing and not get your hopes up isn't it. I went to a cafe last week and the smell of the cooked food made me heave, and i am trying so hard to stay calm and just see what happens.
Fingers crossed right back at you!!! hope you get the result we all want. good luck

This month looks promising, we have to get a bfp from one (hopefully all) of you three! I'll get excited for you, so just sit back and relax

cori · 15/08/2005 13:20

Hi everyone.
Havent been around for a while. AM playing the waiting game again too. I feel quietly confident this month, I dont know why. I didnt temp or even do OPKs properly this month. Just knew was about to ov because of CM and the usual dates. Maybe it is the acupuncture helping me not too worry. Af is due next Thursday. Will probably test on Friday this week as I have party to go to Friday night
How is everyone doing?.

spub · 15/08/2005 13:27

Hi guys,
Fingers crossed for the testing!
I'm in bd mode at present. AF due on my birthday at the end of the month so hoping for the best present ever! (BFP...)
Off to acupuncture again tonight. It may also be helping me to chill out a bit, Cori. I feel slightly less hysterically desperate to be pregnant....

Diddle · 15/08/2005 13:33

I always find that up until a week before AF I dont feel too desperate about getting pg, but then as soon as it starts getting close, I get very obsessed and can't get it out of my head. Luckily I am still 2 wks away from AF, so quite calm today.

OP posts:
spub · 15/08/2005 13:36

Yup. Diddle, you have it exactly right - rational calm behaviour followed by mental obsessive sniffing of things, squeezing of boobs and early testing!!!

We must have AF due very close to one another. My AF due 31 Aug. When's yours?

Diddle · 15/08/2005 14:09

mines due the 26th Aug. which is actually sooner than I thought, Oh my god, must stay calm. Not sure if i have any tests left anyway. can't fnd them in my cupboard, if i chekc now though i'll go buy more, so better not check, then i can't be tempted. Thats the plan anyway.

OP posts:
cori · 15/08/2005 14:20

I am due on the 25th. Will test before though.

spub · 15/08/2005 14:46

Oh God, Strike and Cori an emotional end to the month then!!
I'm actually away on holiday (if "holiday" is the correct euphemism for touring around dh's family "dawn sarf") from Mon 22nd Aug til Thurs 1 September. Am trying to figure out which rellies have got web access so I can check in with you all (dh calls you my "homies" )

strike1 · 15/08/2005 15:01

I'm looking forward to the excitment at the end of this month. I'm like you Spub, in Bding mode right now. AF not due till around the 9th Sept (if my cycle really is 35 days) But it's good to have so much testing going on to keep my mind off it all in the weeks before. Still got my fingers crossed for you Diddle, Petunia, wishingchair and now you too Cori! How long have you got to wait Spub?

My DH calls you my gang as well! I think he feels a bit left out sometimes and asks how everyone's doing.....bless

spub · 15/08/2005 15:06

Strike - If I'm correct then I ovulate on Weds (bought the clearblue digital opk test to double check!) so I'm fertile (allegedly) at the moment tho no smiley face yet!
AF is due on Aug 31st (my 35th birthday)....

strike1 · 15/08/2005 16:28

So everyone's testing at the end of the month! Looks like I'll be playing catch up in mid Sept then. That will be a fantastic birthday present. I remember you mentioned it before, sorry I keep forgeting whose testing when . I can test a few days after my second wedding anniversary, so hopefully we can mark the occasion with dreams of a new addition by our third year!

nicmum2boys · 15/08/2005 16:39

I'm due 26th August, so another end of the monther here, at least 26th will make me 14dpo, although going on previous months AF will have arrived long before then, so I'll just be pleased if I get that far . At the moment I don't have any pg tests, and am planning not to buy any until at least 13dpo........... yeah right!! Will try and hold out as long as humanly possible though, can't handle all this testing too early, getting a neg and convincing myself it's just cos I tested too soon. Anyway, last time I got an early +ve I had a mc, so I know it's silly, but I just don't want to jinx myself. Also decided not to buy cheap ebay tests, as the fact they are so cheap just encourages me to test all the more, and get even more neurotic about it all lol.

Diddle, how are you doing, any more bleeding??

Diddle · 15/08/2005 16:56

nicmum2boys - you and me are due the same day.
Still got discharge, its very weird, not really browny anymore, much lighter, maybe even a bit pink. But its like normal discharge, but a bit thicker and pinky. not much of it though, not even enough to wear a pad. who knows whats happening, trying to ignore it and not get my hopes up. Thank you for asking.
