Well ladies, its about time we had a new thread, the old one is getting very long. Plus I think we need another fresh start, with lots of positive babydust:

.,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'- .,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,' .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,' .,'-.,'-.,'-',.

Get a big handful girls, i think we all need it.
I was trying to think of something great and positive to put, but this TTC lark is getting us all down, i'm fed up of trying, but we will all succeed eventually, our times will come.

It will be much better for our little ones to have a good start when our bodies are truly ready to carry them.

Do you mind me asking what your weight/height is??

I was always v v thin. All my life in fact.Since turning 30 it has crept on especially around the middle but I am still within the healthy bmi being about 23.

I used to drink build up! Sometimes you just are what you are and stressing about it just makes you thinner (burning calories..)

auntynon · 03/08/2005 20:33

weighed myself at my mums yesterday, 8 st 3lb, I'm 5ft 8 in. When I spoke to my gp about it around 6 mths ago I was 8st 7lb and my BMI was at the lower end of 'normal'. He did blood tests for overactive thyroid etc but everything was normal. He said he was more concerned about his obese patients!! Alot has happened over the last year or so, move house, start business etc, I put alot of me not being able to gain weight down to that. I eat normal meals but find it hard to eat extra just to put on weight when I am not hungry. I feel ok in myself generally, someimes tired but often very busy. Intention with business that I will go part time and have more time off/with babies.

Hello c.p hunny!,thanx for the support hun, only time will tell,so have to be strong and hold out for afew days!I really don't know if i am or not?!I really can't tell!!
My dad said to me today,'why aren't you pregnant yet!'(bless him),he feels really bad because when i was preg before he wasn't very 'enthusiastic' should we say the beginning,as he thought we would plan a family for after we were married(i fell preg end of last sept and we were due to get married 14th may this year, turned out that we moved wedding to january just gone and Rhys was born on our original wedding date!(how BIZARRE is that!?).)So he felt really guilty when Rhys was stillborn, and is desperate for me to be preg again!
I'm on maternity leave aswell till october,i do find it hard thinking about going back to work as iwork with young babies. When DH initially told my company that Rhys was stillborn he wasn't going to pay me maternity wages because he didn't think i was intitled to it!!!!(bloody cheek!!!)Went to citizens advice and everything, and they couldn't believe it!!,he was quick to pay me when we said we were going to take legal action!!So now am not really keen on working for him full stop!!Thats one of the main reasons why i want to go back to work pregnant,so i can stay there as little time as pos and then go on maternity again!(sounds selfish, but after what he put me through,i think i deserve it!!).
Don't worry about work c.p,you and i have been through enough as it is,without worrying about things like bloody work!!And WHEN we go back to work pregnant, that will be the most important thing, and no less than what we deserve!!!.x.x.x
(you've got me started now!!!.).x.x.

maddyd · 03/08/2005 21:06

its getting desperate.Im bloody boiling and even thinking about making a hot chocolate!!

Shelly24 - my employers were not going to pay me either until I sent the S.A.N.D.S info in and my boss went to personnel kicking and screaming on my behalf.I lost Philippa in the 25th week so was just eligble. They thought I was a week out!!

Morning all,

You guys do chat a lot don't you, i must make more fo an effort to be on in the evenings.
Shelly24 - fingers crossed for you, sounds very promising wiht your tests. Hope they are positives. I think i would take it that they are, there's no way i could hold out till the weekend to test again, you must have much more will power than a lot of us on here I'm sending you a little congrats, just to keep you going.

Maddyd - How you feeling today? when is your scan, do you have to wait long, hope not, must be hell, esp without chocolate

auntynon - sounds like you're being very sensible and strong at the moment, looking to the future is all we can do. Before you know it you will be as obsessed as we all are it won't take long.

CP - going to hunt out the opk thread, whats the point of doing a test to show when you're eggs doing what it should, if its not going to work???

Mine are staying in the cupboard this month, should have started doing them today. we're not really trying too hard this month, if we are then i am successfully not thinking about it as much.

Spub - sorry to hear AF has finally arrived with you, its gutting isn't it. But there is plenty more time to try, we'll get there.

Humphreyscorner - how are you feeling today?? did you manage to get a doctors appointment yet?

Xena - Hows things going?? are you still decided on not ttc, or might you take a bit of time off and stay off the pill? you never know, having a rest from it could be more successful for you. Hope you're okay hunny.

Hellkat, Lottielou - where are you? everything alright.

Better go and do some work

x

Morning ladies

How are we all today?

Diddle-can't be bothered to ring the Dr today as I want to stay at home at least 1 day this week so will ring on Monday or Tuesday as have both those days off. I need some more migraine tablets but the way I see it is that if I get PG this month I won't need them as I won't get my AF. Yep-in my dreams again. But, best not take them until I know I'm def not PG-soooooo leaves me until 18th Aug when AF due to get an appointment. Blimey charlie-what a waffle! Hope you are OK ((xx))

I have decided I can't live with the length of the grass any longer so am going to cut it now. The mower is v. difficult to start so always worry that it may have caused my M.C. but as my 'fertile' time is only today I shouldn't really worry.

Enjoy the rest of the day and I'll check on you all later.

P.S. My DD broke one of my oil burners last night which holds such memories-was so devestated I couldn't bring myself to speak to her for the rest of the day. Feel awful about it now .

(((xxx)))

Toothache · 04/08/2005 09:45

Shelly24 - You have now done 3 tests!!!! ALL OF THEM POSITIVE!!!!!!!!!

petunia · 04/08/2005 10:06

Shelly24- 3 positive tests, eh?!
I'd say clothes that are bigger in the waistline department will soon be in order!
Congratulations!

Xena · 04/08/2005 10:08

Shelly you must be I hadn't read your messages proparly (3 positives sounds v postive to me )

S@#t Diddle HK and Maddy Just read the Nov thread and feel crap now

Diddle · 04/08/2005 11:27

xena - i know its horrible reading it isn't it, and wondering what we would be like at 25 wks or however long it is. but we'll get there when our bodies are ready. Sounds like you're not sure about not ttc after all.

OP posts:
Xena · 04/08/2005 11:48

Diddle honestly I'm desperate for another, I always wanted 4. But I can't bear to go through it all every month 1&2 happened without trying but 3 took ages. If we carry on and I'm not pg before the end of the year there will be to big an age gap between 1&4 and also abit of me just wants to get past the baby stage.

Can you tell I'm still trying to convince myself

Toothache · 04/08/2005 11:50

Shelley24's post on Wednesday 3rd - 4.30pm ish:

"Hey girls, hope all of you are ok
Tested yesterday afternoon, and got another pale line, did same today around the same time today and got another pale line!!...so i don't know!"

Congratulations??

maddyd · 04/08/2005 12:03

Xena im not stong enough to read the Nov post although i wish them all the best of luck and healthy pregnancies, but it just makes me too sad.

Diddle · 04/08/2005 12:03

XENA - YEP SOUNDS LIKE YOU'RE TALKING YOURSELF INTO IT. oops didn't mean to have caps on, not shouting at you.
Perhaps you could stay off the contraception and not actively try, no bd every day, but just give yourself till xmas and if nothing has happened by then, perhaps give up then? worth considering. you do sound like you really want another. How long did it take you to conceive the one you lost?

OP posts:
Diddle · 04/08/2005 12:07

maddyd - i must be very brave then. but when i do read it i try to block out the fact that i should be like them, and just think of it as talking or reading about friends.
If my first pg had been succesfil i would be 34 wks this week. can't imagine that now, feels like a lifetime ago. quite sad actually wish i hadn't worked that out.
oh god i want a baby soooooo much.

please let us all be successful really soon.

OP posts:
maddyd · 04/08/2005 12:11

Its painfull isnt it Diddle. it will be our turn soon im sure, although im not annoucing mine till a get a digi posotive. No more ebay tests for me but i think i will use ov sticks. Dont know if trying this month because of my belly ache which is a bummer, so i will actually be trying to avoid ov time. What a nightmare!!!! May have to cancel our special weekend away to till a later date as the night times are the worst. Its not so bad if i dont eat though. so i may loose a little wieght

Diddle · 04/08/2005 12:23

maddyd - you have to eat! i bet as you're avoiding ov time you get pg anyway, purely because you're not thinking about it as much, or perhaps concentrating on it is a better word.
Won't be good if you have to cancel your weekend. are you taking it easy, or working?

OP posts:
Diddle · 04/08/2005 13:36

auntynon - what sort of business do you run?

OP posts:
Xena · 04/08/2005 15:33

Maddy I don't normally look but Beksmum had posted so I went on and at the end read 25+4 and felt soooo sick almost.
Diddle I was thinking of not going back on the pill till christmas but I think I will still obsess every month.

Xena · 04/08/2005 15:36

Diddle · 04/08/2005 15:46
