Well ladies, its about time we had a new thread, the old one is getting very long. Plus I think we need another fresh start, with lots of positive babydust:

.,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'- .,'-.,'-.,'-',. .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,' .,'-.,'-.,'-',..,'-.,'-.,' .,'-.,'-.,'-',.

Get a big handful girls, i think we all need it.
I was trying to think of something great and positive to put, but this TTC lark is getting us all down, i'm fed up of trying, but we will all succeed eventually, our times will come.

It will be much better for our little ones to have a good start when our bodies are truly ready to carry them.

Hi Gang,
Haven't posted for a few days. AF due today and no symptoms of pg whatsoever so I'm expecting the full torrent any time soon.

Not having the best month as a group, are we??
Hope you're all hanging in there and doing as well as can be expected under the circumstances!

Cheers, Diddle.
Don't think this is the month though!

Maddy, Sorry to hear about the possible gallstones. Know v. little but think they can be zapped. Am sure there must be threads on here where you could find out more!

Diddle · 03/08/2005 13:58

maddyd - found a website all about them. It says Oestrogen can cause them through having an excess of it during pregnancy, or something like that, heres the link

Well i have read through it and it sounds about right. I dont need or want this, what a apin, literallyu!!!!!!!!

auntynon · 03/08/2005 15:06

hello, feel the need to join the thread. Have just said my goodbyes on the due in march thread. Had a m/c on sun night at 8 weeks. Very sad but also have dd, 2 next month so I have gone all the way before! This was first and hopefully only m/c. GP has said that there is no reason why I need to wait before trying again. He suggested maybe waiting a couple of cycles which I think dh husband will want to do but I want to get on with it. I'm almost 35 and this m/c is making me not take anything for granted. Can feel myself becomming obsessed about concieving.

Diddle · 03/08/2005 15:30

auntynon - welcome to our excellent thread. So sorry to hear of your loss, we have all been there, and its tough. We know that you're feeling shocked and empty and tired and sick and horrible.
I had a loss at around the same time as you.
did you have a d&c or are you losing naturally?

How are you feeling? We didn't wait after my frist m/c and caught again straight away, then lost that one too in April. So we waited the next time and we are still trying now.
That doesn't mean you shouldn't try straight away, plenty of people are succssful after a m/c. Just sharing my experience.
We have a stats page too, so you can tell us all a bit about yourself. heres the link.

Hey girls, hope all of you are ok
Tested yesterday afternoon, and got another pale line, did same today around the same time today and got another pale line!!...so i don't know!
Am def gonna leave it now till wkend(yeah right, your prob thinking!)and see if AF turns up between now and then.
In conclusion have had three pale lines and each one looks stronger than the one before, still no AF,slight cramps every now and then in lower tummy, abit tired, but hanging on in there!!
DH thinks i may be preg, but doesn't want to say too much and get my hopes up(naturally),he reckons it prob still too early to get a clear result and reckons i should def wait longer before testing again.
I don't feel very preg, but then again i didn't last time round until about week 7/8 into the preg,as thats when i started to feel sick etc.And we didn't test then till about 2/3 weeks after missed AF,so who knows!
will def keep you informed though either way....hope everyones ok!?

maddyd · 03/08/2005 17:21

Oh Shelly im getting excited for you. Did it come up pale straight away or after a while?

shelly24 · 03/08/2005 17:23

It was pale after about 5 mins, then obviously got darker after awhile.
I don't think i am,but have to leave my options open huh?I just don't understand why AF hasn't arrived if i'm not?.x

maddyd · 03/08/2005 17:26

What test is it?

shelly24 · 03/08/2005 17:30

I ordered them from a pregnancy website, they haven't got a product name, just bought them in bulk with a load of ov tests(which i gave up on.Just say,'one step pregnancy test' on them? Will get a digi one at the weekend as am feeling foolish for spending the money on them in the first place!.
At the time i just wanted some straight away!(sigh!)

maddyd · 03/08/2005 17:33

With you there girl know exactly what you mean. How many days late are you then. A digi one will work if your late especially if you do afirst morning wee. Fingers crossed for you Shelly xxxxxxxxx I can imagiene how you are feeling.

shelly24 · 03/08/2005 17:39

I'm only a day late, worked out that Af should have arrived yesterday, rather than sun/mon
Either way it should be here by now,and isn't!
I'm trying to be really cool about the whole thing, cos it can really get to you sometimes can't it!?
Am gonna leave it another couple of days, had nice long chat with DH,and we're gonna take it one day at a time,if i'm not its not the end of the world(although it would be LOVELY ofcourse),it would then be a worry as to why my AF hasn't arrived!?The female body is a very confusing thing!!!
Anyway,enough about me,how are you today mads?.x

shelly24 · 03/08/2005 17:51

I don't feel i could be that lucky this soon

maddyd · 03/08/2005 17:52

Im ok ta, down obviously. This whole ttcing thing is getting me down, but i wont give up, no way. And theese flaming gall stones wont stop me either. I jus hope they are not painfull on our weekend away. If not sorted straight away then i may postpone the weekend. We are having Lamb for tea, its my favourite but im dreading eating as it aggrivates my stomach.

Are you back at work now? I forget if you said you were or not? I know you were worried about being ill if pg?

HumphreysCorner · 03/08/2005 18:31

auntynon-saw you on the March thread -I'm so pleased you joined us and you are most welcome. We all know what you are going through hun (((xxx)))

maddyd-gallstones big . Have heard it can be a middle age ailment No seriously, with modern medical whatsits they can be got rid of easily now not like when my Grandad had them lots of years ago so you really mustn't worry girlie. (((xxx)))

Had a nice day and having a glass of Blossom Hill while attempting to get tea ready. Big excitement as we are finally on broadband-hurrah!

Be back later to check on you lovely ladies

xxx

spub · 03/08/2005 18:41

Auntynon-
a combined huge welcome and so sorry that you are having to join this thread- we know how gutting a m/c is so if there's anything we can do...
Shelly - so hope this is a real BFP. Fingers crossed for you! We need some happy news here!
My AF has just arrived . Would have maybe been a bit greedy to get pg right away. At least now I know I have a 28 day cycle!
My next bd days are on my wedding anniversary when dh and I are booked back into the lakeside hotel where we wed 7 years ago so maybe the omens are good!
Hugs to all

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 03/08/2005 19:37

Shelly24 I have everything crossed for you baby girl.

And as for being too lucky.Dont be too hard on yourself, after everything you have been through you deserve all the luck in the world. We are all rooting for you!!

Maddyd asked if you were back at work and I wondered if you took mat leave? I did with the intention of getting pg asap as I am usually v v sick from 6wks to 20wks and did not want to be in work then back off sick.

As it is I bet I am back (end oct) before i am pg then have to take more time off being ill.I worry so much about it.I only just started the job when I got pregnant with dd and was then off 4 months with hyperememsis (in hosp on drip)went back to work at 22 weeks,2 weeks later fell and broke wrist, was off another 2 weeks and then finished for mat leave at 32 weeks as advised by gp.Had 6mths leave went back and then 5 months later got pregnant with philippa was off another 4 months same scenerio.Went back at 22 weeks and 2 weeks later lost philippa and went on 6mths leave.

so you can see my concern

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 03/08/2005 19:40

auntynon

so sorry you had to join us but welcome.Feel free to be obssessed,we all are

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 03/08/2005 19:44

Flamin nora

Just seen a thread on opk.Said a pos result doesnt acually mean you have laid an egg (cluck, cluck)

Just bought 3,001 from internet this morning!

Something else to worry about.

Chocolate,I NEED CHOCOLATE.

auntynon · 03/08/2005 19:50

learning things already from you lot. I'm still bleeding from my m/c as it was only on sun, dr said I shouldn't need d&c as it all seems to be happening naturally. Didn't realise it can take so long to get A/F after m/c. I'm on a mission to be really healthy when I do concieve. Since having dd 2 years ago have struggled to keep weight on, am very thin but do eat lots. dh hasn't said it but I feel that he may insist I put more weight on before we try again. Have bought decaf tea and coffee and lots of vitamins (and lots of pies) getting obsessed!!
