Just caved in and did 2 x cheapies and then
digital - BFP.

Will be thinking of you tomorrow - dont worry, as I said before mine were either too small or too big. I was on 300 too.

Drugs Drama!! We've had a little incident with this evening's injections. DH prepared a new 450iu phial of gonal-F (stims) and and new phial of cetrotide (inhibitor) and gave me my 300iu shot of gonal-F (have you guessed where this is going yet...?) and then gave me the cetrotide shot. When tidying up all the packaging he found a FULL phial of cetrotide and an empty gonal-F. Yup - mega dose of gonal-F I immediately rang the on-call nurse who said she wasn't too worried as I don't have very many follicles anyway (less chance of OHSS). Still a little worried that we might have compromised the cycle, but luckily we have a scan in the morning so we can find out what's going on.

Italian - I hope you are having a wonderful time at Spring Harvest. I'm dying to know how you're getting on.

Time for a cup of decaff and a cadbury's creme egg.....

Wow! Hooray hooray for PenfoldsGlasses! That's brilliant news. Well done for holding out on the testing til today too. I will try and be just as strong.

Idream I had lots of EWCM too and I was also on cetrotide so do not worry. You have several promising follicles there and don't forget I only had 3 follies and still got 2 fertilised embryos.

Cerubina Nice to hear from you. Thank you for understanding. I am as you say full of hormones and it's just all getting a bit much. Can cry at almost anything! It's pathetic really.
Sounds like you have made some good steps at your clinic appointment, although I can imagine you don't feel much wiser at the moment. Interesting about miscarriages after 8 weeks too. I really hope you get some answers in a months time.

I will try and think a bit more positively especially as I still have 6 days to go until test day!

Sorry crossed posts. Idream Don't worry, it might even make them grow more! I think as long as you did the cetrotide injection too it will all be fine. I was on huge dose (650) of menopur. Not sure about what the maximum doses of gonal F are but as they started you on the lowest dose and they are not worried I would just chalk it up to experience. Bet you'll be double checking everything from now on.

Hi gingerwine, thanks for reassuring me about the EWCM. I keep thinking about you when I get down about my follies - you and your 2 grade 1 embies from 3 follies (did that include your sausage?) are my inspiration at the moment

DH is mortified about his mistake - I doubt it will happen again!

Morning folks. Brown spotting here. Feel like AF is waiting to start.

Gingerwine - Brown is ok - maybe implant bleed?? It is too soon for anything else.

Remember there has been a lot of messing around in there the past week.

I feel weird. Lat night my boobs stopped hurting so much and this morning they felt normal so I tested on a Clearblue Digital and it's gone from 3+ to 2-3
I just went to the hospital for a blood test and they will be telling me if the hCG level looks good after about 3. I don't feel very positive about it because this is exactly what happened last time.

Gingerwine hope you are ok.

Gingerwine - I've just been from the hospital where they were telling me about the 2WW. The nurse said that you might have no symptoms, that you might feel sick and have sore boobs or that you might keep feeling that your AF is going to start - she said taht all of these things don't mean anything. That probably doesn't help you feel much better (but I'm trying!) xxxxx

I had another scan this morning and we're being sent for egg collection on Monday. I have one big folly (and 2 tiddlers)on the left side and 3 big ones on the right side. I'm wondering now after last night's uber-dose that they may turn into cartoon-like characters with superpowers like the Fantastic 4 after they were exposed to some type of radiation!!!

Thankyou Duelling and Idream. I just wish it was over now and I knew one way or another. I suppose it could just still be positive but I'm not very hopeful to be honest. I will try and cling to that tiny glimmer of hope for a few more days though.

Idream I know it must be an awful situation to be in, but your story did make me smile. I like the idea of superhero eggs. Perhaps Spiderman's mother told him he got his super powers from a spider bite - it was actually a double dose of Gonal-F! Good luck on your EC on Monday.

Gingerwine don't lose hope yet! I had absolutely no signs of pregnancy with my DD but I did have some brownish spotting (and at the time I was very down about it too). I think its impossible to tell after all the drugs you've had. Relax (if you can) and picture your laid back baby with a nice Zita-orange glow...

3G how's your 2ww going?

Cerubina I'm glad to hear that you're on the way to finding some things out. Always makes me feel better when I'm doing something. I can sympathise on the farking expensiveness of it all. I just spent around £250 on blood tests - I got a trainee nurse who missed the vein when trying to take my blood, so I reckon I deserve a discount!

Italian I hope you're enjoying your time away. Looking forward to hearing how you're getting on!

Nothing to report from my side. Next appointment is next Friday but shouldn't be anything remarkable - apart from bringing us one step closer to another cycle. Australia plans are moving slowly, but I see that as a good thing at the moment!

test results came back at 6450 so that's good. Phew.

Congratulations Penfold! More great news.

Dueling I think those digital tests are a bit of a worrier's worst nightmare. I did one as a repeat test when I was pregnant recently and it scared the hell out of me by showing my dates being behind where I knew I was. It may have been right to do so or may have been nonsense, but I would not use them again after that experience. You just do not need the anxiety! Great news that the blood test was on track and hope that can put your mind at rest and all is well with the bubba.

Hi MM. So have you decided to embark on another cycle before Oz? I think it is a good plan if you can fit it all in, definitely.

Hang in there Ginger and try to think calm, positive thoughts. Definitely seems too early to write it off and although I know the 2WW is dragging horribly you will get to testing day soon. Can you find something to distract yourself this weekend?

Idream another namechange! I like how you keep us on our toes with these. Good luck for EC on Monday, hope that megashot of Gonal-F has built them up big and strong and ready to get jiggy with the fellas.

We have a Christening tomorrow for my DH's nephew. Should be fine but DH hasn't actually told this side of the family about the m/c ('didn't get round to it' rather than deciding against it ) so have to do that at an opportune moment and would rather it was already known. Also have to try and find something vaguely presentable to wear. I am having a nightmare with my wardrobe at the moment and it needs a total overhaul. I went shopping yesterday and found barely anything I liked, very frustrating!

Anyway, before I wander too far off topic, have a good weekend all!

Oooh - an echo! It's all gone a bit quiet in here, where is everyone?

Jus thought I'd pop in an see if there was any news from anyone, but no!

I had my trigger shot about an hour ago and I'm due at the hospital at 9am on Monday morning. I'm very pleased to have had my last injection, I was getting a bit fed up of them!
