Well, I think the minus degree surfing may have frozen everything internal and external. Had to check twice I still had 10 fingers and 10 toes it was so cold!!

I hope you are all keen to celebrate my 50th tomorrow...CD that is. GRRRRRR!!! Still I will wallow in sloppy blue cheese omelettes with a sushi sprinkling and pint of vodka. If that isn't enough to induce sickness in the most steely of stomachs!

Still must grumble, lovely boozy weekend! Will be a teeny bit sad to give that up for 9+ months!

I think I may have ovulated yesterday but we were too tired for any shagging action. Did manage a fair amount over the weekend so maybe that was good timing? Not obsessing..

Vallinna I had a super-long cycle after stopping the pill but they seem to be getting back to normal. I think my body didn't really get that it had to kickstart itself! Good news is my gynae friend told me that it's possible to have a period without ovulating because your body needs to flush itself out and that usually gets a normal cycle back on track.

Hello Jane - I hope this thread is as lucky for you as it seems to be for us! (Not me yet, but I'm barely even into my second cycle off the pill so it's very early days). The best thing about it for me is the banning of contraception - I've been taking that bloody pill for eleven years and every day before I go to bed I think 'yippee, I don't need to remember it' (of course I remember every day...). Now I have to remember folic acid, though

A week of SWI begins at the RedNinaBlue household, and here's how I know it's definitely "WI" for my husband too: after sex, he oh-so-casually says: "You know, in The Big Lebowski, they said you should lie on your back with your knees in the air to help you get pregnant."

I find it amusing that while I'm thinking cycles and charts, his ideas of how to conceive come from Hollywood. (doubly amusing: he is a scientist, and usually won't consider anything without hard scientific evidence to back it up. But when TTC, apparently The Big Lebowski is reference enough!)

We have been TTC for 7 months after the pill, with a break in the middle. Only now comming back to my normal self.
I really thought this was the month but she arrived on the dot...

Congrats all round for BFPs....keep us updated on the sticky bean situation! It must be so hard having that wonderful news and not being able to tell everyone. Shout it here instead - it encourages the rest of us!

Since I don't have a cycle to speak of, I am JSing as much as possible and secretly hoping for a miracle. Reckon I'll give it another month then go visit the Doc. 2 AFs a month does not bode well for conception, me thinks.

Apparently legs in the air or bum on pillow after jsing does help. Guess swimming up hill is difficult so gravity helps! Read it on a website somewhere so must be true [grins]

Last month was a BFN for me but my other half is (not so) secretly pleased because he gets lots more just shagging this month - and boy is he taking advantage of that!

Only on month #2 and already bored of waiting for my BFP - dear me, "patience is a virtue" - I must have been back of the line when they were handing out that virtue then.

This is our first month TTC#1. My partner and I were going to wait until after our wedding (August 6th! Eeeep!) but he woke up one morning last month and decided "why wait?!" which took me by surprise I can tell you.

I'm 35 but refuse to listen to the naysayers who tell me it's harder to conceive at my age. Really not into taking temperatures etc either as I just don't have the time or inclination. We're JS rampantly instead!

I have an irregular cycle but after 24 years of visits from AF I'm pretty good at reading my body's signals and I think I may have ovulated yesterday. Which means I'm entering the 2 week wait tomorrow.

Congratultions to u all with BFP'S! We only just started "trying" on sunday after a year or so of discussions! It was my OH who suggested it- may have something to do with one of our close friends announcing their pregnancy on Sunday! But hey im not complaining, im soooo excited i have wanted to be a Mummy for as long as i can remember I am only 28!

I am on day 7, which means I have a one week wait before I can even have the two week wait. I am filling my time by eating runny eggs and sushi and drinking cocktails before two weeks of boring food and abstinence...

DH is starting to get withdrawal symptoms on days we don't shag. It hasn't been like this since our uni days!
