Thanks Takethat I don't feel anything either which is making me feel hopeful but I don't want to be disappointed again trying failing to not think about it. Avoiding any shop that might have any sticks to p on!

I need that face-slapping kipper too please - for the last couple of weeks I've been feeling super thirsty (drinking 8-10 pints of water a day!) and feeling sick and emotional. If I was on a 28 day cycle (don't know how long it really is, as my last period was the first proper one since finishing the pill and that took 6 weeks to rock up), I'd be due today but BFN! All this symptom spotting drives you crazy!!!

Don't panic vallinna but I know exactly how you feel - hadn't been so excited about my period arriving after the pill since I was 14!!! Surfing sounds great, are you going to Cornwall or somewhere more exotic?

Rats, rats, rats! AF has arrived 5 days later than usual and 2 days before the wedding! Deep joy!

Although I'm hoping that some serious JSing and sunshine on honeymoon with get my cycles more regular...

AF arrived. Woohoo! Yours will come soon enough vallinna. Mine arrived in style - was going to London for a meeting, went to the loo in King's Cross station and realised AF was here, went and put some money in the machine to get lillets or whatever they are, only to bump into my boss. Couldn't get the machine to release the damn things, and my boss had to go and get an attendant to help me. Then I was too embarrassed to go back into the loo while she waited for me so had to go across London with her knowing I had started my period but hadn't sorted myself out. I hate Bridget Jones but some days I bloody well feel like her.

Brassica a couple of days into the honeymoon and you'll be shagging like a queen - have a brilliant day on Saturday, btw.

Made the most of being able to eat runny eggs and drink wine whilst TTCing, suppose I ought to be sensible now! Think you've got the right idea though, taking a relaxed approach seems to work best. Fingers crossed for everyone this month. I'm sure this is a lucky thread.

Would love to join you, as am TTC for the first time.
I came off the pill Jan 10 after 4 years, but as yet my periods have been so irregular - 16 or 18 day cycles. I hear this makes it not possible to conceive. Has anyone any words of comfort? Feel like there's not much point SWI until my body has settled....

Hi there NewMrs and Miffles, and welcome! I have no idea about 16-18 day cycles - have you been to the doctor? My guess would be if you're ovulating, you can get pg ... but I don't actually know...
