URGH, CD39....if it's even a calendar day considering I haven't had a proper AF since coming off the pill. On the plus side, my hub and I are finally in the same country and off for a we away!

Vallinna it took 6 weeks for AF to arrive for me once I'd stoppped the pill. Hang in there.

AF arrived so this isn't the month for us. A nice glass of wine or 2 helped me get over it last night!

Hi vallinnapod, sorry to hear it's CD40 for you now ... I'm on CD30, no AF, BFN. It's annoying because I had a month off the pill in October and AF came exactly 28 days later, so I kind of hoped it would be the same this time. But as soon as we get those AFs we can get JSing in earnest!!!

Brassica and gormers hope you're feeling upbeat at the start of the week. The way I look at it we're all one month closer to our BFPs, however we get there!

All good! I'm getting married on Saturday!

AF has not arrived and should have done yesterday. It's been as regular as clockwork. So that's 3 of us waiting!

I can't be pg as blood tests confirmed I'd not ovulated.

Need AF to get here asap so that it doesn't get in the way wedding/honeymoon!

I know what you mean about when AF arrives - at least it's the end of the 2 week wait! And one more month of making sure we're as prepared as poss & one more month of full pay rather than mat pay!

I think I had an anovulatory cycle after I came off the pill and then it started messing around because my body realised it needed to get itself back into balance!

Rest of us, yep, onwards and upwards. This month's JS commandments are:
a) thou shalt be mostly nice to your DHs/DPs (unless they're behaving like a twonk)
b) thou shalt have love lots of shaggy fun, especially over two weeks in the middle of cycle
c) thou shalt not obsess, symptom spot, early predict or otherwise behave a bit bonkers
d) thou shalt stay on here and gossip and keep us all updated with progress!

Liking the commandments 30, though I've done hardly any work today as distracted by symptom spotting. 28 days since last AF but my cycle is at least 30 days, I am a plonker! As long as I only have to be mostly nice to DH then all should be fine.

Love the commandments and will do my upmost to abide by them - although I fear I will be unable to stop myself from going a little bit bonkers during the 2 week wait!!

I swear I have no ov sticks, no temping, no preg tests and of course, no contraception so I think I 'fit' here.
30 - I like the commandments a lot (even though there seems to be a pattern of dh being an arse in the 2 mid-cycle weeks - WHY is that?!)
I have a 20 month old DD who has just really started sleeping through the night, so of course I though it was about time I had another...love lack of sleep me.

Congrats to Brassica on the wedding! Maybe talk of weddings will get me all romantic and 'in the mood'...

Well AF was due a few days ago, I did an early test 2 days before due, and got BFN...so was just waiting for AF to arrive, went to gym yesterday feeling moody and fed up, and thrashed myself silly for hours!...thought I would just pop into shop for cheap test, and it came up with a faint line!!!OMG...
Went to boots in eve, and treated myself to an expensive clearblue digital, thought I would wait till the morning, got up at 2am, couldn't wait to test!!! got a BFP!!!!.
Very early days, says conception was within last two weeks...so very early. Fingers, eyes, arms and legs all crossed for a super sticky bean .

Loving the new commandments. After doing daft things yesterday like furkling for EWCM, I am now a reformed character and quiet serene about the whole affair It'll happen when it happens. Well, that's today's attitude anyway and that's all I can hope for!

Thanks Barassica...I'm feeling fine, very eaarly days though!...DH was a bit shocked as I wasn't ovulating according to pee sticks?, even had bloods taken, and getting results in an hour? WTF???.

I went to the docs yesterday, not out of worry (a bit premature for that!) but to say we're trying etc, expecting some sort of health check...nadda, not one Q about anything. No 'take pre-natal vits' or any advice, I was quite shocked really.

Hello again...doctor phoned me with blood results before. They showed all was ok, and that I am ovulating, I said I guessed so as I got a BFP.
I tested for ovulation every day since my period and never once got any indication of ovulation?, I used cheap ebay ones but also clearblue, and boots ones.
Just shows they are not always accurate .

Well AF arrived like bloody clockwork, but a bit full on-no pre AF pink stuff (sorry TMI!). Bit relieved tho-not been fully concentrating at work due to symptom spotting!!

vallinnapod, I was going to go to the doctors too, partly because it says on the conception pages of this website that you should. I think somewhere earlier on this thread I mentioned that I got a battering on the AIBU boards once - it was because I got annoyed with my DH that he made excuses not to go to the doctor's with me.... reaction was, 'what are you going to the doctor's for anyway? Don't you know how to do it?'!!!

I did go recently for something else and told the doctor I was ttc - she just checked I was taking folic acid and told me if I wanted I could have a blood test for rubella or german measles or something. But you could tell she didn't think it was necessary and that was it. So don't worry - just keep JSing!
