So a slightly lighter and less scary thread for those who are chucking away the pills and the condoms and hoping for the best!

30, I know it was you first. It's in my head every time I open this thread! I blame you!

I hate that film. I was forced to watch it non-stop for about a week. I hate it, hate it, hate it and now I have that tune in my head. Not stealing the joke, sharing the pain.

And calm....

I have words for all of it, you know.

Welcome, gormers, we are sane really. And that's so the next thread title: 'NADUTA? Just keep shagging'.

30andMerkin · 08/04/2010 11:55

See, I have my evil ways of getting into your head MwahHahHahHahHah!!!

frakkinnuts · 08/04/2010 11:55

I don't want a song in my head, I want a baby in my tummy! Do you have evil ways of getting one there?

notso · 08/04/2010 14:12

thanks to you two I have been singing the "Lah la-la luh luh la la la" bit of that bloody song all morning.

frakkin I think the way of getting a baby out of ones tummy is evil enough without putting one in there all evil-like as well.

Hello gormers, are you already just shagging then or just in the run up to it?

BrassicaBabe · 08/04/2010 14:19

Welcome gormers

Are the rest of you lot still singing?

I don't think there is going to be much JS for me. My mum and dad are coming for 2 nights. DP not keen on shagging when there are others in the house and then AF is due. But feeling quite "up for it" after reading the Sex after Childrem thread from Discussions of the Day.

AF is sooooo twee, is there an alternative?

Interesting news on the sore notso

Brassica

notso · 08/04/2010 14:34

I'm with your DP Brassica, we went on holiday with my parents and I could not 'perform' with them around, had to resort to quickies in the pool changing room.

Can't think of an alternative to AF that is not twee or that doesn't make me sound 13 (riding the crimson wave, courtesy of Clueless ).

Off to get some inspiration from the Sex after children thread now, refused a shag last night and this morning due to bbs.

gormers · 08/04/2010 14:35

A-ha, JS - I guessed that's what it meant but wasn't entirely sure!!

Yes, JS for us! First month trying so very early on really. Getting used to it all, quite a chang of mindset after years of trying not to conceive! Very excited about the whole thing though!!

notso · 08/04/2010 14:36

Would like to add it was a private pool, we weren't shagging freely in a public area.

notso · 08/04/2010 14:40

Good for you gormers, it's fun once you get the hang of it!

BrassicaBabe · 08/04/2010 14:43

Don't get me wrong notso, I'm not looking for swinging from the lampshades, head board banging, screaming like a banshee sex (we'll save that for another day ), but a slow steady screw wouldn't go amiss

There was a website listing different positions over in the Sex after Children thread. Will check that one out when I'm not on a work laptop

notso · 08/04/2010 15:01

I appear to have come over all unnecessary after reading that thread, Dh won't know whats hit him!

pipistrello · 08/04/2010 18:14

Blimey, I must find that thread AT ONCE. I was sort of in the mood for a shag tonight, so that will tip me nicely over the edge (of the bed, from the sounds of it).

Boo to PMT and overweightness. Cheers for new threadsters. Big question mark for AF substitutes - "bloody blood" is what it gets called at my house.

pipistrello · 08/04/2010 18:27

Where is the sex thread??

BrassicaBabe · 09/04/2010 07:54

Let's see if this works pipi

We can't have you missing out

Morning Shaggers,

Just popped in to say WOOHOO for reverse cowboy

As you were.

30andMerkin · 09/04/2010 18:01

And a YEE-HA to that! (although I haven't done it since, ooh, the last milennia).

Happy shaggy weekend girls.

frankenfanny · 09/04/2010 19:17

BFP

notso · 09/04/2010 19:25

Congratulations
Thats fantastic news.

PinkFondantFancy · 09/04/2010 20:24

Hello ladies! Congratulations Franken! Very exciting! Where were you when you found out? No news to report here - 6 weeks now since my last pill and no sign of AF yet. Was thinking about doing a test but I guess it might be too soon, any thoughts?

frankenfanny · 09/04/2010 21:35

Sorry girls been v busy with kids on holiday not much time to chat.

Just got a cheapie test as was beginning to feel very pregnant and def not a sign of AF, so felt sure that would be enough, and it was - showed up bright and clear straight away. ( bathroom at home btw Pink) Not told anyone yet - v early days.

So despite our advancing age DP and I are obviously fertile as ferrets. Was looking forward to lots more fun trying as well.:0

Cautiously excited and a bit nauseous of an evening.

Wishing all of you similar good fortune and lots of fun trying

gormers · 09/04/2010 23:04

Franken - that's great news! Congratulations!

It definitely isn't our month to get pregnant as my current awful period pain I telling me! But, like you say, just more fun trying!!

notso · 10/04/2010 14:12

Decided to test as;
boobs still sore;
was sick this morning;
my Mum said my skin was glowing;
I bought a maternity top by mistake(thought the fit was too good to be true).

and

I have a very very very faint BFP!

I'm excited and nervous now because tested early.

frakkinnuts · 10/04/2010 14:30

Yay congrats franken!

And very faint congrats for notso! Let us know if/when you test again!

Pink - test to put your mind at ease but learning from my experience last month it's entirely possible your body is just taking a while to settle down. You never know but I'd be cautiously hopeful rather than convinced! That and to test sooner rather than layer as the longer you leave it the more time you have to convince yourself...

notso · 10/04/2010 14:46

Thanks frakkin,
shall try to resist testing again until Tuesday which is 28 days after day one of last period.

I'm not telling anyone including DH in RL though until I am 100%.

Pink, my first AF after the coil was almost three weeks late, and I spent £50 in those weeks on expensive tests.
Today discovered Wilkinsons do two for £1.98 first day of missed period ones or early ones for £3.80ish.
Like frakkin said, test but think of it more as confirmation of not being pregnant otherwise you'll drive yourself crackers.

frankenfanny · 10/04/2010 15:27

Thanks everyone and hopeful congrats Notso!

Told DH this morning he was a bit Hmmmm but soon cheered up and was ridiculously proud of his "boys" being so effective, now wants to supply sperm to the nation I think. He is sure we'll have another boy and is thinking of names already!

I'm being a bit less excited as it is very early stages, all being well due late December- not ideal timing but not complaining

Just Keep Shagging girls.
